After you complete the main story, the game will ask you if you want to go check up on Tapu Koko. With the bridge fixed, enter the Ruins of Conflict where you’ll get to face off with Tapu Koko. Whether you catch it or not, you’ll be rewarded with Tapunium Z. If you defeat it, the legendary will reappear after re-doing the Pokemon League.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon dont promote the Island Scan feature particularly well, but it soon proves to be an invaluable tool to battle and catch Pokémon that arent typically found in the Alola region.

Before you can use Island Scan, players must first accumulate 100 points by scanning QR Code patterns using the QR Scanner. These can be earned by scanning either an Alola Pokédex QR Code, Wonder QR Code, or Special QR Code, which reward you with 10 points, 10 points, and 20 points respectively.

The Alola Pokédex QR Code patterns are displayed in your Pokédex whenever you catch a Pokémon, any QR Code pattern that you discover in the real world will count as a Wonder QR Code, while Special QR Code patterns are specific to a particular Pokémon such as the Magearna QR Code pattern.

When you have 100 points, select Island Scan and hold the R or A button to see the tool detect a rare Pokémon. You should then head to the location, and search for the silhouetted Pokémon as soon as possible.

Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon

While it at first looks to be one of the Ultra Beasts, Necrozma is actually considered a legendary Pokemon. After you finished catching all the Pokemon in Ultra Beasts side quest, speak with Looker at the motel on Route 8 and he’ll say that he saw a black Pokemon flying over Melemele Island. Time to go see for yourself.

Head over to Ten Carat Hill on Melemele Island and go all the way to the grassy canyon area. Rummage through the tall grass until you finally find Necrozma!

Pokmon Go Gen 7 Pokmon List

The majority of the Gen 7 evolutions in Pokémon Go will, unsurprisingly, require you to collect a specific amount of candy. There are, however, a couple of Pokémon which may have special requirements tied to their evolutions.

One of these Pokémon is Crabrawler, who, in the main series, will only evolve into Crabominable on Mount Lanakila. It will be interesting to see whether this location based evolution translates into a special requirement in Pokémon Go or if you’ll simply have to collect enough Crabrawler candy.

Another special Gen 7 evolution is Salandit which only evolves into Salazzle if it is female.

Most notably, however, Rockruff can evolve into one of three different versions of Lycanroc – Midday, Dusk and Midnight – depending on whether you’ve met a certain requirement in the main series. Currently, the Midday and Midnight forms are available in Pokémon Go and which one you receive depends on what time of day you evolve Rockruff during.

Lycanroc is not the only Gen 7 Pokémon with multiple forms though. Oricorio is a flying-type Pokémon whose appearance and typing changed depending on which Alola island you caught it on. We’ll have to wait and see how this Pokémon, and its various forms, are disturbed in Pokémon Go, but we definitely want to catch them all!

During the course of the game, Professor Kukui wishes for the Alola region to have it’s own Pokémon League after seeing and challenging Kanto’s Pokémon League. The Alola League is completed right after the player completes all the trials of the four islands. The Elite Four can be battled in any order like previous games. Collecting every Pokémon ever within one game just got a little bit easier, because in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, youll be able to capture Legendaries from every main Pokémon game ever. But much like previous entries, Pokémon will be version-specific, a light nuisance most Poké-Fans are used to by now.

Weird things happen in the story of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Wormholes open up around Alola, revealing new places and strange interdimensional locations. Through these Ultra Wormholes, players can encounter the Ultra Beasts and even classic Legendaries like Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Lugia, and the original Legendary Birds.

Promotional images suggest that these wormholes send players as far as 1,463 light-years away from Alola which is roughly 8.8 quadrillion miles. Woah. So thats where all these Pokémon have been hiding all this time.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon take the idea of version exclusives to a whole new level.

In addition to a number of regular Pokémon that can only be found in either game, each Ultra game has nine exclusive Legendary Pokémon. Ho-oh, only found in Pokémon Gold and its remake, is in Ultra Sun. That means Lugia, which was Ho-ohs opposite in Pokémon Silver and its remake, finds its way into Ultra Moon.

This is a list of Pokémon in the order dictated by the Alolaregional Pokédex, meaning that the starter Pokémon from Alola will appear first, followed by Pokémon native to the Alola region.

In addition to the overall order, the Alola Pokédex splits Pokémon into four sub-listings: the Melemele Pokédex , with 120 Pokémon the Akala Pokédex , with 130 Pokémon the Ula’ula Pokédex , with 130 Pokémon and the Poni Pokédex , with 100 Pokémon.
