A Nintendo Account is required to use the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME.
A Nintendo Account is not required for the smart device app, but it is highly recommended that you create or link a Nintendo Account the first time you connect to Pokémon HOME on a smart device. With a linked Nintendo Account, you will be able to view battle data and access your Pokémon and any Premium Plan features on a linked Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME as well.
Can Other Players On My Nintendo Switch Console Access My Pokmon
When using Pokémon HOME, players can choose to deposit and withdraw Pokémon to and from any compatible save data on that Nintendo Switch system. That means that other players with Pokémon HOME can access Pokémon from your games on Nintendo Switch.
Please be careful not to transfer other players’ Pokémon on your console without their permission.
Set Up Pokmon Unite On Nintendo Switch And Link To Existing Mobile Pokmon Unite Save Data

A Few Restrictions On Transferring
As mentioned before, there are a few restrictions and workarounds to transfer mass amounts of Pokémon from Go to Home. One of the first things to note is that the Go Transporter requires energy to send Pokémon to Home. Different Pokémon will require different amounts of energy. Legendary and shiny Pokémon, for example, will require different amounts of energy to transfer them. The Go Transporter will be fully energized when you first use it but, after every use, the energy level will go down and youll have to wait a set amount of time before the Go Transporter to build up all of its energy again. You also have the option of buying Go Transporter energy with PokéCoins, but its a bit costly to do this. The cost to fully charge the Transporter is 1,000 PokéCoins, which feels a little outrageous.
Additionally, not every Pokémon can be transferred from Go to Home. Pokémon that are special or exclusive to Go, such as Armored Mewtwo, costumed Pokémon that were part of an event, Shadow, Purified, or Lucky Pokémon, cannot be transferred to Pokémon Home. Its important to keep this in mind when selecting Pokémon to transfer, because you may have selected a Pokémon that cannot actually move to Home.
From Bank To Home On Switch With A 3ds
If you’ve still got a 3DS or 2DS lying around, here’s how to transfer with those devices. Pokemon Bank and Transporter are free;until March 12, so if you never downloaded the app before, now’s the time to do it if you want to move your Pokemon over.

- From the main menu, choose “Move Pokemon to Pokemon Home”
- Pick which boxes you want to transfer over
- After you’ve chosen them all, press “Y” and then choose “Yes”

The Pokemon Company has shared a guide of sorts outlining how Pokemon GO players can transfer creatures to Pokemon Home. It covers linking Pokemon Home to a Nintendo Account, the actual move process, and more.
Heres the full rundown:
Pokemon GO is available for mobile on iOS and Android. Pokemon Home is also on mobile as well as on Switch via the eShop.
Pokmon Go Connectivity With Pokmon Home Is Now Live
Transferring monsters from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME is now available to players of all levels, but the cooldown time is still unacceptable.
The long-awaited update allowing;Pokémon GO to connect with;Pokémon HOME has finally been made available to all players regardless of their trainer level. Before today, only trainers who were higher trainer levels were able to transfer their;Pokémon, but making it available to all players only fixes one of the many flaws;that the underwhelming feature has.
Niantic shadow dropped the;Pokémon GO compatibility update for HOME on November 11, and players were almost instantly disappointed. The feature was only available to level 40 players at first, and players could only transfer a limited number of;Pokémon before they would have to recharge their;Pokémon Transporter. This could be done by either waiting for the cooldown timer to expire or by paying money for;Pokécoins. The only issue is that only 60 energy recharges per hour, and some;Pokémon require 2,000 to 9,000 energy to transfer.

Do I Need To Purchase A Pokmon Home Premium Plan For Each Person That Wants To Use The Service
The subscription is for an individual membership only, so a separate subscription should be purchased for each player that wants to use all the features.
However, please keep in mind that a paid Premium Plan is not required to transfer Pokémon on Nintendo Switch. Anyone that can access Pokémon HOME on Nintendo Switch can transfer Pokémon to and from the compatible game save data for other players on the system.
How To Move Pokmon From Black And White And Virtual Console Games Using Pokmon Transporter
There are a handful of non-3DS Pokémon games playable on the 3DS that can be transferred to Pokémon Bank, and in turn, Pokémon Home. These are:
- Pokémon Black and White
- Pokémon Black and White 2
- Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow
- Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal
To do this, you’ll need to use the Poké Transporter app. This comes bundled free with your subscription to Pokémon Bank, and like Bank is accessed via your 3DS home screen like you would a standard game. You can find it within the 3DS eShop – or via a shortcut from Pokémon Bank’s main menu.

How To Transfer From Sword/shield And Let’s Go To Pokemon Home
Pokemon Home is also compatible with Let’s Go Pikachu / Eevee and Pokemon Sword / Shield, so you can store any Pokemon you’ve captured in those titles to the service. Fortunately, this process is much simpler than transferring Pokemon from Bank. In the Switch version of Home, select Pokemon on the main menu and you’ll be presented with a list of the Switch Pokemon games you own. Choose a title and you can move Pokemon from it to Home, and vice versa.
As with Bank transfers, there are a couple of caveats to keep in mind when moving your pocket monsters. Any Pokemon you transfer from Let’s Go to Home can be retrieved in their original game or in Sword and Shield ; however, if you bring a Pokemon from Let’s Go into one of the Gen 8 games, it can no longer be returned to its original title. Pokemon from Sword and Shield, however, can freely be moved to and from the service.

Set Up Pokmon Unite On A Mobile Device And Link To Existing Nintendo Switch Pokmon Unite Save Data

- First, download and launch Pokémon Unite on your smartphone or mobile device. Select Transfer Access to Data once you see the title screen
- IMPORTANT: If you start the game without selecting Transfer Access to Data during that initial setup, you can’t sync your save data with existing Nintendo Switch save later without deleting the app and reinstalling to start again fresh not a huge problem if you do it by accident
- Select Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Club account on the platform log-in screen. Make sure you select the account that is linked to Pokémon Unite on your Switch Image: Pokémon.com
- The same save data should now be linked and accessible on both your mobile device and Switch
How To Connect Pokemon Go To Lets Go
The process of transferring Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu or Pokemon Lets Go Eevee is a lengthy one to get started on, but once players have done it once, its easy to do so and can be done freely at any time. If It Can Be Fixed Than It Needs To Be
This product is very useful I enjoy using it but there is one thing that I believe will make Pokemon moving the most useful you can transfer Pokemon back and fourth easily the but you cant transfer over times that are on the Pokemon lets say I have a zacian it needs its rusted sword to change form but unfortunately the time gets put back into your bag in sword and when you transfer zacian over to shield it does not have its rusted sword this makes moving Pokemon with items impossible and I can understand if there was a software road block it just think it would be nice to see the problem addressed by the people that made the app but besides that I think the app is great in both mobile device and switch but please if you could talk about it that would be most informative also the most of the community seems to be really toxic there are a lot of troll trades that are asking for Pokemon at a lower level than are given for example a troll wants a level 60 zacian this is impossible to get zacian at level 60 because he comes at level 70 they make it so trades with actually good people are impossible all I ever see when searching for trades are trolls and take up the entire page and should not be allowed to do so so making a cap of leveling depending on the actual Pokémon so we dont have trolls would be nice

How To Connect Pokmon Go To Nintendo Switch
To connect Pokémon Go to Nintendo Switch you must pair it with either Lets Go, Pikachu or Lets Go, Eevee.
So, to connect Pokémon Go to Switch, you must first launch either Lets Go games and access the in-game menu.
From here youll want to open the Options menu and select Open Pokémon Go Settings. Select Yes when promoted so the game can begin searching for a Pokémon Go account to pair with.
While your Lets Go game is seeking to pair, you must launch Pokémon Go, tap the Poké Ball icon and select Settings.
