    You are searching Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield why can’t an evolution be missing from your team or simply to complete the Galar regional Pokédex? You are in the right place: in this guide we will see where to find Eevee and its respective evolutions.

    Where to find Eevee

    Evolution Pokémon can be encountered in both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, but it is very rare. The easiest place to look for it is Route 4 just before Turrfield, the city where the first gym of the game is located. We will have to arm ourselves with patience, because the chance for Eevee to appear in the overworld is only 5% in Pokémon Shield and very low for Sword’s friends, where Eevee appears only 1% sometimes.

    Just wander around Route 4 until you hear his characteristic verse: it is a sign that Eevee has appeared on the map and just find it to add it to your Pokémon collection. To make things even easier you can use Hi-Tech earphones that allow you to adjust the sound, reducing all sounds other than the verses of Pokémon: Like Pikachu, Eevee has a unique verse, similar to “Eva!”, so it is very recognizable.

    Another way to get Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to have played Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee: in this case, just go to the Wilderness Station and talk to the boy next to the girl next to the access area of the tracks, who will give a sample of Eevee capable of gigamaxizing. L’Eevee event is in particular as it cannot evolve.

    In Pokemon Sword and Shield, Eevee has the ability to evolve into eight different Pokemon depending on what you do. For example, if you give Eevee a Fire Stone, itll evolve into the Fire-type evolution, Flareon. If youve yet to catch an Eevee, they can be found along Route 4.

    Additionally, if you have save data stored on your Switch from Pokemon: Lets Go, Eevee, youll receive the Gigantamax gift version of Eevee. However, this version will not evolve, meaning youll still need to catch yourself an Eevee along Route 4. Once you have an Eevee you can evolve, again, you have eight possible evolution types.

    Below, weve listed each one, and a description on how to get Eevee to evolve into that particular evolution in Pokemon Sword and Shield!

    If youre set on getting all eight evolutions of Eevee, youll need to put the work in when it comes to catching eight different Eevee along Route 4. In most cases, Eevee will evolve once it reaches Level 15 or higher. All you need to do is put in the steps to ensure the right evolution, such as giving Eevee a Leaf or Fire Stone to hold.

    Where To Catch Eevee In Pokmon Sword And Shield

    In Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can find Eevee on Route 4. After you exit Galar Mine, youll come across some rolling fields that lead to Turffield. Eevee will appear randomly in the tall grass in this area.

    Alternatively, head to the Wild Area and take part in some Max Raid Battles to get your hands on an Eevee. Jumping into battles in Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Motostoke Riverbank, or Rolling Fields could land you an Eevee. Defeat the powerful Dynamax Eevee using Fighting-type Pokémon and then throw your best ball to capture it. We find Dusk Balls or Ultra Balls work best on Dynamax Pokémon.

    How To Catch Eevee

    You can catch an Eevee on Route 4 in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It’s very rare, but sometimes you’ll see it in the overworld! Be aware, the Gigantamax gift Eevee you get for having Let’s Go Eevee saved data will not evolve!

    If you want a Hidden Ability Eevee, you will have to catch one during a rare Max Raid Battle. Look for a purple beam with clouds around it at a den in Bridge Field of the Wild Area.

    Players can get a hold of their own Eevee fairly early in the main game of Sword and Shield. Eevee is a bit rare to encounter, but if players keep running around the various three patches of grass, they will encounter one eventually.

    Obviously, the next step is to catch an Eevee, which is not a very difficult task, even for;players that skipped the catching tutorial. Considering this is before the first gym and the Eevees in question are only around level 15, any Pokeball should do just find.

The stones needed to evolve Eevee into these five Eeveelutions can be found on the ground in various locations throughout the region.

    How To Get A Leafeon

    Leafeon is the Grass-type evolution of Eevee. Before Sword and Shield, it and Glaceon were known to be more difficult to evolve, as you had to find a specific rock on the entire region map. Fortunately, Sword and Shield made getting these Eeveelutions easier. Like Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporean, they now just need a certain stone.

    • Location: Lake of Outrage and Giant’s Bed.
    • Max Raid Battle Location: Giant’s Mirror and Ballimere Lake.
    • Weather Requirements: Clear.

    Where Do I Find It

    Early on in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you will eventually have to leave the starting towns and progress towards the next town to battle with the first gym leader in the Galar region.

    At the next train station which is located in the Wild Zone area, there are two NPCs a girl and a boy next to the door. Talking to the boy will grant you Eevee if you have played Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee at all. Talking to the girl with the blonde hair will grant you Pikachu if you have played Let’s Go Pikachu.;

    There Pokemon are essentially the same Pokemon you play within the Let’s Go versions and thus cannot evolve into one of the many Eevee evolutions or Raichu.

    Catching One In The Wild

    Thankfully, Eevee, isnt terribly hard to catch in Pokemon Sword & Shield. On your way to Turffield for the first Gym battle, youll go through Route 4, which is a great spot for trying to find an Eevee.

    It has a pretty low spawn rate compared to the other Pokemon, so just keep wandering around in the tall grass until it appears. Once it does, just catch it like any other Pokemon: weaken it a little, then throw a Poke Ball.

    To recap, heres where to get Eevee in Pokemon Sword & Shield:

  • If you played Lets Go Eevee, talk to the boy NPC at the Meetup Spot to get one for free.
  • You can also catch one in the tall grass along Route 4.

    How To Evolve Eevee Into Flareon

    HOW TO GET Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield

    Flareon is a Fire-type Eevee evolution, and is one of the original three Eeveelutions.

    To evolve Eevee into Flareon, simply give it a Fire Stone.;

    You can find Fire Stones by the circle of rocks on the hill in the Lake of Outrage region of the Wild Area, and can also receive them as rewards from the Digging Duo in the Wild Area.;

    Don’t Miss: What Is Good Against Grass Pokemon

    Where To Get Eeevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield

    Finding an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield is fairly easy. Trainers can find Eevees in the grass along Route 4 during any time of day. Take the train from Wedgehurst to this area to start searching for this previously elusive Pokemon.

    While the location is straightforward, that doesnt mean the area is overflowing with Eevees. Eevee is just one of several Pokemon that can be found in the tall grass on Route 4. Take some time walking around the tall, yellow grass and keep an eye out for Eevees long ears.;

    Once an Eevee is spotted, just run into it to start the battle and go about it like any other Pokemon. Weaken the Eevee, throw a Poke Ball, and then add it to the party.;

    Another way to catch an Eevee is through Max Raid Battles located on Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Motostoke Riverbank, and Rolling Fields. While in the Wild Area, approach Pokemon Den beacons to take on Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon. When Pokemon Dens are emitting a ray of light that means there are Dynamax Pokemon hiding there, ready to be captured. Trainers wont know which Pokemon are waiting inside except for a shadow outline and mention of its type.;

    This isnt the most efficient way of getting an Eevee as there is a long list of Pokemon that could appear in any given den and Wishing Pieces are one of the games most expensive items. The benefit of catching an Eevee in a Max Raid Battle is that it will have much stronger base IV stats than those caught out in the wild.

    How To Evolve Eevee To Get Every Evolution In Sword And Shield

    If you’re a Pokemon Pro, here’s the good news – seasoned players don’t have to deal with any changes to how Eevee Evolution works in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The methods are all the same as they have been in past main series titles – though of course you’ll need to know where to find certain items, which will be different this time around. Two of the items have changed from the previous release, however – that’s detailed below.

    If you’re a newcomer, have no fear – we’re going to list both the methods and the locations of everything you need right here on this page. So, without further ado, here’s how to get each of the eight Eeveelutions:

    • Vaporeon – use a Water Stone item on Eevee.;
    • You can find a Water Stone near the stones at the Lake of Outrage in the wild area. This periodically respawns, too.
    • On Route 2 there’s a hidden Water Stone, but it can only be grabbed when your bike can go on water.
    • Bridge Field is also home to a Water Stone – iut’s hidden around the rear side of Motostoke city.
    • The Digging Duo in the wild area also have a random chance of turning up a Water Stone.
  • Jolteon; – use a Thunder Stone item on Eevee.
  • One Thunder Stone can be found near the stones at the Lake of Outrage. These drops respawn every now and then.
  • There’s another Thunder Stone in North Lake Miloch of the wild area – just on the ground, on a ledge.
  • The Digging Duo can turn up a water stone if you have them dig for you.
  • Flareon; – use a Fire Stone item on Eevee.
