Pokemon with higher CP points have greater multiples of their base stats than Pokémon with lower CP points. Mewtwo Is A Tough Post

In the Generation I games, Mewtwo feels like the final boss. It’s located in Cerulean Cave, which is only accessible after the player has defeated the Elite Four and the Champion. As you catch Pokemon, you will need to feed them candy, use them in battle, and give them boosts to help them grow to their full potential. For example, lets look at one of the more common Pokemon, the Pidgey. The small bird wont seem like much at first but evolves his Attack, Defense, and other skills. While certainly not one of the best for battle, he is one of the best youre more likely to find.

Eternatus Is A Pokmon Doomsday Device

It’s difficult for each new Pokémon title to introduce increasingly strong Legendary Pokémon when they’ve already gone to such crazy places. Sword and Shield’s Eternatus is the zenith , and it’s an extraterrestrial Pokémon that landed on Earth 20,000 years ago with the purpose of ending the planet. If Eternatus’ Eternamax is formed, it’s basically game over for the universe.

While Kyurem’s base form doesn’t make the list, Kyurem Black and Kyurem White are the strongest Ice-type Pokemon in the game. While Mega Sceptile was commended for holding its top spot since Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the Kyurem twins have held theirs since Generation V!

While the two share the exact same 700 total in stats, they’ve received very different placings in the metagame. Kyurem Black is a solid OU pick, while Kyurem White manages to hold a very niche position in Ubers.

There are hundreds of Pokémon available in Pokémon Go, and hundreds more still to come as the game passes through the generations. Combine that with the fact that attacking and defending Gyms, tackling raids, and fighting in PvP all require different strengths in different areas, and it’s pretty clear that there are no objectively ‘best’ Pokémon for every scenario.

It’s still useful, though, to know which Pokémon are generally strong that can be used for each, and the easiest way to divvy them up is by Type. Here’s an at-a-glance look at the strongest Pokémon by type right now, including the best options for their moves at the time of writing.

Note that we’ve opted for the best moves of that type where available, which might not be the optimal damage output moves for that Pokémon overall. Rayquaza, for example, does more damage as a Dragon-type attacker with Dragon-type moves. But it’s also the strongest Flying-type attacker in the game if you equip it with Air Slash and Aerial Ace, as we’ve noted below. So use this table if you’re trying to find a good Pokémon of a certain type, specifically, even though it’s good for getting a general sense of the overall best Pokémon in the game, too.

This is rated as one of the strongest Pokemon in the world since it was introduced in Generation I. That means this Pokemon has a very long history. Also, Mewtwo doesnt have the ability to evolve into a different Pokemon at that time.

In Generation VI, they said that Mewtwo has the ability to evolve into two different mega forms. They are Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y Mega Stone. Compared to other forms, the Mega Y form is one of the most powerful Pokemon in the world. With that said, it has a superb Base Stat with a value of a whopping 780. Also, it has a special attack value of 194, and it is a massive value.

When it comes to the defense value, however, Mega Mewtwo Y has a pretty low value. For instance, it has a defense value of 70. It goes up to 120 when a unique defense is required. This specific Pokemon is perfectly agile and comes with a speed of 140. Mewtwo Y is resistant to all the Psychic Pokemons and Fighting Pokemon. However, it is vulnerable to Bug, Ghost, and Dark Pokemon characters.
