Best Persian & Kangaskhan Counters
Since Persian is a Normal-type Pokémon, the best way to beat it is to bring a Fighting-type Pokémon, such as Machamp, Lucario, Hitmonchan or Blaziken. Persian typically uses Normal, Dark, Fairy and Rock move sets.;
Kangaskhan will be one of the three Pokémon that Giovanni can send out as his second choice. It is a Normal-type Pokémon that can demonstrate a really powerful offence.;
Similar to Persian, Fighting-type Pokémon are the best counters as is the case with the majority of Normal-types.;

Generation 5 Pokmon Regional Exclusives

- Asia-Pacific: Pansage, the Grass Monkey Pokémon
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Pansear, the High Temp Pokémon
- The Americas and Greenland: Panpour, the Spray Pokémon
- Western hemisphere: Heatmor, the Anteater Pokémon
- Eastern hemisphere: Durant, the Iron Ant Pokémon
Trading For Regionals In Pokmon Go
If you just cannot afford to travel the globe in search of regionals, it is possible to trade with a friend who has. Well, for a price. If the Regional is new to your Pokédex, it’ll be considered a Special trade and cost both you and the person you’re trading with a non-trivial amount of stardust. Here are the numbers:
- Friend: No Special Trades
- Ultra Friend: 1,600
- Best Friend: 800
There are restrictions on Trades based on Friendship level and location. This is, in part, to discourage people from selling Pokémon. While you can meet other players through Facebook, Discord, and Reddit, most players willing to trade Regional Exclusive Pokémon aren’t going to ask for money or anything offline in return. If they do, it’s probably a scam.

Catching Region Exclusive Pokemon In Pokemon Go
Before we get into the specifics, its worth noting that regional exclusives in Pokemon Go can arrive on lures and incense, so if you are only going to be in one place and cant keep an eye on your nearby options, consider cracking one or both of these to maximise your chances.;
As ever, to increase your chances of catching without anything fleeing, use Razz Berries and Golden Razz Berries, and make sure you are using curveballs and aiming for the smallest possible bullseye. Your Pokedex will thank you.;
Pokmon Go Regional Exclusives Map And How Regional Exclusives Work In Pokmon Go
Each generation of Pokémon has several creatures you can only find in specific regions. These can be specific countries , entire continents , certain regions and even ‘halves’ of the planet .
These creatures are fairly common spawns in these regions, so if you are visiting for a short period, it won’t take long to find them.
Regionals can be found spawning in the wild – so don’t expect them in gyms or in nests. From September 2019, regionals have also been made available in Eggs – but only from their respective regions. This is also the only way to get Mime Jr., the Gen 4 pre-evolution to Gen 1’s regional exclusive Mr Mime.
If you don’t travel, then don’t fret. Gen 3 has shown these creatures can swap round occasionally or drop regional exclusivity altogether and as mentioned above, shift temporarily for special events, such as Farfetch’d during Pokémon Go’s 2017 Travel Challenge.
Below you’ll find a map of all the regional exclusive Pokémon in Pokémon Go:

All the Pokemon Go regionals are likely to be one of the main barriers for players aiming to 100% complete the Pokedex, simply because you need to travel all over the world to get them without trading. This has been the case since the start of Pokemon Go and while some of the early Pokemon Go regionals like Mr. Mime, Tauros, Kangaskhan, and Farfetch’d have been made available in other regions during specific events, that hasn’t been the case for most of them. Here are all of the Pokemon Go regionals and where you need to go to obtain them all.

How To Catch Kangaskhan In Pokmon Go
Ordinarily, Kangaskhan is a regional exclusive in Australasia, where it will spawn in the wild.
It has, however, since its debut in 2016 appeared in various events so other players have had access in their own region.
One such opportunity is during the Ultra Unlock 2021: Space in August 2021.
During this event Kangaskhan, along with the regionally exclusive Heracross from Gen 2, can be battled in three-star raids until Friday, 20th August at 10am , which means that you should have enough time to add these Pokémon to your collection.

Pve Defensive Moves Explanation
Mud Slap has substantially higher defensive DPS than Low Kick.
Stomp is a clear winner due to its STAB and few resistances; this 2 bar move is annoying to fight.
Outrage is a fine choice as well; it’s strong and not widely resisted, but its easy to dodge.
Crunch, Power-Up Punch,;and Brick Break fire early and often, so they are also worth considering.
- With 1 bar and a late damage window, Earthquake wont do squat.
Pokemon Go: Where To Find Kangaskhan And How To Get One Anywhere
Kangaskhan is a Pokemon very much believed to be unavailable to anyone thats not located in Australia. It is among four Pokemon rumored to be region-locked, but to be clear, Kangaskhan is in fact in the game, though so far has only been confirmed to be found wild in Australia. If you live on this particular continent, we recommend checking grasslands, forests, or large open fields as those seem to be where they frequent the most. Like any rare Pokemon, use Lures and hang out in areas saturated by PokeStops to ensure maximum coverage.
Now, for everyone else who wants to obtain this wild Pokemon, there thankfully is a different way to get one in Pokemon GO. Kangaskhan can actually be hatched from 5km eggs, regardless of where you live, making this a game of chance and numbers. Maximize your collection of 5km eggs and start hatching. Hang out in areas where you can hit multiple PokeStops at once. This will give you a larger chance of obtaining 5km eggs.
In terms of actually hatching one, make sure to have your app open whenever youre walking, biking, or driving. The latter will only count if you are going under 20 mph, so if youre just driving about town, you can rack up some serious mileage. However, we do not condone trying to play Pokemon GO while driving, just turn your phone on and set it in the passenger seat away from you. With a bit of luck and some serious sore legs, Kangaskhan and her adorable child will be all yours!

Pve Offensive Moves Explanation
Low Kick hits Normal, Dark, and Ice effectively, which are commonly found in gyms, but Mud Slap does not.
If you are lucky enough to have a Stomp Kangaskhan, good for you! It trounces other charge moves due to STAB.
Outrage is the best of Kangaskhan’s current charge moves, having huge power and wide neutral coverage.
Earthquake and Crunch are poor overall, but Earthquake at least matches type with Mud Slap.
Power-Up Punch;is basically worthless due to how weak it is.
- Kangaskhan’s other legacy move, Brick Break, lacks the power to be useful.
Locating Team Go Rocket Leaders
Every once in a while in Pokémon Go, you’ll have the chance to battle Team Go Rocket Grunts, and whenever you defeat one, they will drop an item called the Mysterious Component. If you manage to collect six of these, you’ll be able to combine them and craft a Rocket Radar.;
This handy item reveals the location of any Leader Hideouts that are in close proximity to you. Once you’ve equipped your Rocket Radar, tap the Rocket Radar button to view the Leader Hideout locations.
As shown in one of the screenshots above, the Leader Hideouts resemble regular PokéStops on the map. And once you’re nearby, one of the Team Go Rocket Leaders will be standing right by the Leader Hideout.
Before you fight, keep in mind that Leaders are a lot tougher to beat than regular Team Go Rocket Grunts, so make sure that you line up your best Pokémon and that they’re at full health before the fight.;
Once you’ve defeated a Leader, your Rocket Radar will disappear, so you will need to either purchase a new one from the Shop or locate and combine six more Mysterious Components in order to battle more Leaders.;

Farfetchd Tauros Mr Mime And Kangaskhan Will Be Returning To Regional Raids In Pokmon Go
It doesn’t look like there will be a distance extender either.
With all of the new updates going live or preparing to launch in Pokémon Go, a small change is being made to certain regional Raid pools.;
Farfetchd, Tauros, Mr. Mime, and Kangaskhan are all Pokémon that can only be found in specific parts of the world. And they will be returning to Raids soon in each of their respective regions.;
Niantic didnt specify much about their return, but the developers did promise to give more updates on when the change is made and any future additions.;
This simply means that players who live in certain regions will once again have more frequent access to Farfetchd, Tauros, Mr. Mime, and Kangaskhan since Raids provide more consistent encounters than wild spawns or Egg hatching. As of now, it doesnt appear this update will include an extension for where players can find these rare Pokémon, but that could always change in the future.
Here is where each of the specified Pokémon will be appearing once they are back in the Raid rotation.;
- Farfetchd: Japan and South Korea
- Tauros: ;North America

How To Catch A Shiny Kangaskhan In Pokemon Go

This normal-type Pokemon is a veteran of the series, hailing from the Kanto region. This is one of the rarer Pokemon in the game since its normally region locked to Australia. During this event, though, anyone around the globe can get a chance at catching Kangaskhan. Old-time fans will certainly want to be looking for this member of the original 150. Pokmon Go: How To Find Shiny Kangaskhan
Shiny Kangaskhan is already available in Pokemon Go but it will be a lot easier to encounter. This guide will show players how they can find and capture this Pokemon. Earlier this year, players were able to participate in the Kanto Tour event. A big part of the identity of this event was that all 151 of the original Pokemon had their Shiny forms added into the game. A few of them were previously available but this event added all the rest. Players were even given an exclusive Special Research that rewarded players with a Shiny Mew. As part of the most recent Go Fest, players were tasked with completing Global Challenges. These tasks can only be completed by the massive community coming together and as a reward, Niantic is providing players with a new event known as Ultra Unlock. This is how players will be able to get their hands on a Shiny Kangaskhan.

The Ultra Unlock event will be broken into 3 different parts, Time, Space, and an unknown event happening last. During the Ultra Unlock Part 2: Space event, players will be able to encounter both Heracross and Kangaskhan in 3-star raid battles. There is only a chance for players to encounter them during this period but this guide will show players how they can find its Shiny form.

Generation I Pokemon Gets Shiny Through Tier Three Raid Battles
Shiny Kangaskhan is in the game, but it will take some effort to acquire. Kangaskhan is a tier three raid boss, with a chance of being shiny. This means that trainers have to do lot of walking and Kangaskhan battling before they find a shiny version.
Kangaskhan isnt the only rare three-star raid boss. Heracross will also be making appearances. This is also special since Heracross is normally only found in the South American region. Along with those two will be Alakazam, one of the elite Psychic-type Pokemon. Now is definitely a great time to pull out those raid passes.
It is unclear whether or not Kankaskhan will continue to be regionally exclusive after the event. If so, though, that would make Kangaskhan and Heracross valuable finds. It could be a good idea for trainers to keep a couple of these Pokemon in their pocket, so that they can trade them for something valuable later on.
As for beating Kangaskhan in these raid battles, strong Fighting-type Pokemon are easily going to be the best to bring. Pokemon like Conkeldurr and Lucario should have fast time to win against Kangaskhan.
