How To Evolve Sunkern Into Sunflora In Pokmon Go
Evolving Sunkern into Sunflora requires 25 Sunkern Candy and a Sun Stone. Evolving any Pokémon consumes the resource specific to that Pokémon. For example, evolving Sunkern into Sunflora consumes 25 Sunkern Candies and 1 Sun Stone.
You cannot evolve another Pokémon until the previous evolution is complete you need to wait for the progress bar to fill up completely, then youre free to evolve again. If you do not have enough candies or another resource to immediately evolve a new Pokémon, its best to wait until you have everything at your disposal before you begin.

How Do You Get Sinnoh Stones
Sinnoh Stones can be earned from two sources: Research Tasks and PvP battles.
After you complete a full seven days worth of research progress stamps, youll have a chance to earn a single Sinnoh Stone from a Research Breakthrough. The odds arent high so it may take several weeks of Breakthroughs before youre rewarded one.
Sinnoh Stones also drop rarely from completing in PvP battles. You can battle against an AI trainer once a day for a chance at possible rewards. You can also battle three times a day with another player for a chance at rewards. With four shots per day, youll likely have an easier time getting Sinnoh Stones from PvP battles than you will Research Tasks.

- Sunkern -> Sunflora
Due to the gen 4 remakes largely sticking to Pokemon first introduced in the Sinnoh region or earlier, they only feature two Pokemon that can be evolved with a Sun Stone. The first of these, Gloom, which can also be evolved using a Leaf Stone, can be found in the Grand Underground as well as on Routes 224, 229, and 230. Sunkern can also be found in the Grand Underground and also on Route 204, though players will need to use the Poke Radar to find it there.

Unfortunately, there isnt a foolproof method to get the Sun Stone in Pokemon Go. You have to get to a lot of Pokestops. As is the case whenever you are trying to collect an evolution stone like the Sun Stone, or any special item from a Pokestop for that matter, the best bet is to visit an area with a lot of Pokestops. This way you can hit a number of Pokestops in quick succession. It should help you build your supply of Pokeballs and potions for healing after gym battles in the process.

How To Evolve Gloom Into Bellossom In Pokmon Go
In the main series of Pokémon games, Gloom evolves into Bellossom instead of Vileplume in a sort of alternate evolutionary chain. To get Vileplume, you have to use the Leaf Stone, while to get Bellossom you needed the Sun Stone.

Evolution got a bit more complicated in Pokémon GO last night. For the most part, that’s still how it works after the big Gen 2 update, except for a few noteworthy exceptions. Certain Pokémon now require either a steel coat, a sun stone, a king’s rock, a dragon scale or an upgrade to evolve, and these items are all random drops from Pokéstops. Let’s break them down:
- The metal coat transforms Onix into Steelix or Scyther into Scizor.
- The king’s rock transforms Slowpoke into Slowking or Poliwhirl into Politoed.
- The dragon’s scale transforms Seadra into Kingdra.
- The sun stone transforms Gloom into Bellossom or Sunkern into Sunflora.
- The upgrade transforms Porygon into Porygon2.
Note that in many of these instances the items are used for branching evolution: you’ll still be able to evolve Slowpoke into Slowbro using plain old candy, but you’ll need the king’s rock as well as the candy to get yourself a Slowking. This will slow down some people that had been stockpiling candy for the purpose of filling out their Pokédex as quickly as possible: I’ve got plenty of Onix candy but still no metal coat to snag my Steelix.

Pokemon Go: How To Get A Sun Stone
There are a few ways to get a Sun Stone, but none are guaranteed.
That means you’ll want to complete as many of these tasks as possible – especially since you can only use it once.
Field Research
Arguably the easiest method of earning a Sun Stone, you’ll want to spin Pokestops wherever possible.
Each offers a 1% chance of an evolution item, including a Sun Stone.
You’ll up your chances by spinning Pokestops for seven days in a row, too!
Go Battle League Reward
Speaking of PvP, try competing in the Go Battle League for a chance to earn a Sun Stone as a mystery item.
Pokmon Super Mystery Dungeon
Throughout the storyline, the player character and their partner directly evolve to and devolve from their final forms three times, thanks to their Harmony Scarves.
The player can evolve Pokémon in the Tree of Life after beating the game, by talking to Xerneas. Although the only requirement of evolving is to achieve a certain level, some connected Pokémon are unevolvable.

How To Use The Metal Coat In Pokemon Go
The Metal Coat can be used on two different Pokemon too, and as you’d expect, they both turn into Steel types. If you evolve Scyther, you can obtain the snappy Scizor, while Onix the rock snake will turn into Steelix.

Pokemon Go Wiki Guide
The Sun Stone is another of the new Evolution Items that can be used in conjunction with Pokemon Candy to evolve some of the Gen 1 Pokemon to new Gen 2 evolutions.
Initially there were rumors indicating that Evolution Items were guaranteed rewards for 7-day Pokestop streaks, but that has been discredited. Evolution items are incredibly rare and have less than a 1% chance of being found at Pokestops.
However, as of an app update in late March 2017 you are now guaranteed an Evolution Item for a 7-day Pokestop streak.
Currently, the applicable Pokemon for this item is Gloom, who can evolve into Bellossom using the Sun Stone as well as 100 OddishCandy, or into Vileplume using just candy and Sunkern, who can evolve into Sunflora using the Sun Stone as well as 50 Sunkern Candy.
