Ways To Find Dreepy In Pokmon Sword And Shield

Pokemon Sword & Shield: Best Moveset for Dragapult

1. Travel to the Lake of Outrage

You can find the Pocket monster in several locations. Firstly, Dreepy can be found in the wild area. More specifically, the Lake of Outrage in the wild area. The Lake of Outrage is an area located to the far northwest of the expanse.

The area is full of rare Pokémon to catch and items to collect. Dreepy can be found in the region by a random encounter and is not present in the game’s overworld. Thus, to find it, you must use grass patches.

The creature can only be obtained by random encounters when it is cloudy, foggy or during a thunderstorm. The chances of getting the beast during these conditions are low, being 1-2%.

2. Enter a Den

You can also find Dreepy in Pokemon Sword and Shield through Pokémon Dens. Dens are located throughout the wild area and house rare Pocket Monsters. You can find it in dens located in Axew Eye, found in the central-southern region of the wild area.

Likewise, you can also find it in Rolling field dens found in the southernmost part of the region. The chances of getting the Pocket Monster varies between 10-20% in the dens.

3. Win a Max Raid Battle

Finally, Dreepy can be found across the Slippery Slope, Old Cemetery, Frigid Sea, Ballimere lake and Giants Foot dens in max raid battles. However, to explore these areas, you must have access to the games expansion pass. The chances of getting the creature in the max raid are high.

Dragapult Best Dragon Pokemon In Sword And Shield

Dragapult is arguably one of the best new Pokemon to be added in Sword and Shield. It carries the excellent Dragon/Ghost typing which leaves it with very few weaknesses and some helpful immunities to Normal and Fighting.

Its not great defensively, but its stats are otherwise distributed perfectly in both Attack, Special Attack and Speed. Its Speed in particular is great at 142, allowing it to move before most Pokemon.

It has a fantastic move pool, which includes its signature move, Dragon Darts a move that literally launches two baby Dreepys at your opponent, which is incredible.

It also has the rare Clear Body ability which prevents Dragapult from having its stats lowered and Infiltrator which allows it to slip around screens and Substitutes.

Catching Drampa In Pokemon Sword And Shield

Best Dragon Type Team for Pokemon Sword and Shield

So, theres some good and bad news we need to share with you right now. The good news is that Drampa can be caught in both Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.

The bad news is that it can only be caught in the tall grass in one location, and even then, its got further weather requirements, and an incredibly low spawn rate.

Cutting to the chase, to catch Drampa youll need to go to Lake of Outrage. Youll then need it to be Thunderstorming, so make sure you read up on how to change weather to help with this.

When youre at the Lake of Outrage and youve got it Thunderstorming, youve then got to walk around in the tall grass. You have a 2% chance of Drampa spawning and engaging you in battle.

We highly advise keeping a bunch of Ultra Balls on you at all times, and a Pokemon with False Swipe and a move that can put a Pokemon to sleep will certainly help make catching Drampa easier in Sword and Shield.

Apart from its exclusivity and being a Pokémon that appeared in the seventh installment of the saga, this does not have much to envy, apart from being exclusive, the most important thing in this pokémon is its special attack of 135 points that does a lot of damage and a hidden special ability that cancels all the effects of the weather.

How To Find Dracovish In Pokmon Sword & Shield

How to Find (& Catch) Dragapult in Pokémon Sword & Shield

Pokémon Sword & Shield introduced new fossil Pokémon that can only be caught by fusing fossils together. Dracovish is one of these.

Many simulation games and JRPGs will have players digging around and fishing for treasures, and, in Pokémon Sword & Shield, this can result in finding some new, powerful Pokémon for the Pokédex. When players find fossils in Sword& Shield, they can bring the Pokémon the fossils belonged to back to life. The catch, however, is that these creatures have to be fused together to create a new creature. One new Pokémon, Dracovish, a Water and Dragon-type creature, is one such creation.

Players cannot encounter Dracovish or any of the other fossil Pokémon in the wild. Instead, they will need to find the two appropriate fossils and bring them to the NPC scientist on Route 6 for fusion. There are four fossil types in the game: Bird, Dino, Drake, and Fish. These have four possible combinations to make 4 new Pokémon: Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish, and Arctovish. Different fossil types are easier to find in each version of the game. In Sword, Bird and Dino fossils are easier to find, and in Shield, Drake and Fish fossils are easier to find. For players looking to collect all four fossil Pokémon, here is how to find and catch Dracovish in Pokémon Sword& Shield.

Where To Find Axew

If youve been scanning your Sword and Shield map closely you probably already have an idea where to find Axew. Axews Eye is a small island in the middle of the first section of the Wild Area. You may think this is a good place to hunt for the little green dragon, and if the weather is just right, youll be correct. Under normal conditions along with overcast, raining, and heavy fog youll find Axew hidden among the tall grass about 10% of the time.

Youll need to know how to get to the island, of course, but once youre there you should start seeing him appear. If you want alternatives during other weather patterns just head to Hammerlocke Hills during a sandstorm or Route 6, but Axew is much rarer here, so likely best to change the weather instead. Catch a few and youll start to wonder how to evolve Axew, though if youre lucky enough a Haxorus may spawn on the island by itself.

The monster has three stages of evolution. It evolves into Drakloak at level 50 and Dragapult at level 60. Dreepy has to undergo intense levels of training to evolve, which is difficult due to its meagre base stats.

The monster has the lowest base HP and defence stats of any dragon type and thus is vulnerable. It is recommended that you use EXP share to level up the creature while having another Pokémon battle. Where To Find Drampa

EVERY DRAGON TYPE POKEMON IN SWORD AND SHIELD (if I got to pick them)

Unfortunately, Drampa is completely unobtainable in Sword, and is a pain to obtain in Shield. But, we have some houses to burn down, so where can you find Drampa? Grab your copy of Shield and head to the Wild Area.

RELATED: How To Get Virizion Into Pokémon Sword & Shield

Youre going to need some pretty specific conditions if you want to catch Drampa, as he only appears in three locations in the entire game. He can be located at the Lake of Outrage as a non-overworld spawn. However, he has a very low spawn rate in only one weather type, thunderstorms. If you do find yourself in these conditions, keep searching, and youll eventually find the dragon at around level 50. If youre lucky, you also have the chance to find Drampa in some Max Raid Battles, specifically in Axews Eye and Rolling Fields. Of course, Max Raid Battles are random, so finding Drampa under these conditions could take some time. Hes quite the rarity either way you choose to hunt him.

If youre looking for Drampa in order to add him to your competitive team well maybe dont do that at all, actually. Drampa is kind of a pretty bad Pokémon. While its special attack is fantastic, its lacking in most other areas, has pitiful speed, and doesnt have the best type combination out there. However, like most dragons in the game, Draco Meteor is the most powerful move that Drampa has access to, so youre going to want to teach it that as soon as possible.
