It would be better if you waited for a double XP event before you activate your Lucky Egg. This will double the already doubled amount of XP that you will earn, effectively giving you 4x the amount of XP you can earn!
How To Catch Eevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield
So you can acquire an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield in more than one way. The first, which weve already briefly mentioned, is to actually own Pokemon Lets Go Eevee and have a save file of it on your Switch. How To Evolve Umbreon & Espeon In Pokemon Go
Unlike the previous evolutions, however, Umbreon and Espeon dont evolve from Eevee at random, requiring specific actions to get them.
- Espeon: For the Psychic-type, youll need to make Eevee your Buddy and walk 10km with them. After this, the mons Evolve button should show the silhouette of Espeon during the day.
- Umbreon: This method is almost identical for Umbreon, except you need to evolve the Pokemon at night.

Alternative Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon
Gen 4 Leafeon and Glaceon have a second evolution method, using the Mossy Bait Module or the Glacial Bait Module, respectively. When you are near that PokéStop with the Bait Module activated, go to your Eevee and choose the evolution.
On the other hand, Gen 2 Umbreon and Espeon also have a second evolution method. Walk with your Eevee as a companion for ten kilometers and make it evolve overnight or day and it will transform into the desired evolution.
Note that you have to walk exactly 10 kilometers and get two Candies in the process, and then keep Eevee as a companion when it evolves and make it day or night in the game for it to work .

Since the name trick only works once per evolution type, it seems like a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.
