Getting The Eggs From The Day Care
After some time we will find out our Pokémon have laid an egg and the owners from the Day Care will hand it to us.
In order to hatch the eggs faster than usual we gill get the next two things:
- A Pokémon with the ability Flame Body in our party. E.g.: Chandelure.
- Having an item called Oval Charm in your bag. This is a Key Item which drops down the time eggs need to hatch. You can get it at Circhester, upstairs at one of the hotels after wining against the character of Shigeki Morimoto, one of Game Freak
As the offspring keeps hatching from the eggs we will be checking if the Ability, Nature and IVs are the correct ones. If all of them match with those you were looking for, we can stablish the Pokémon is ready to be trained. In the opposite case we can either use our Battle Points or keep hatching eggs until we find what we want.
You can check the IVs of a Pokémon after defeating six trainers at the Battler Tower. When those are at max level they will be labeled as Best. Any other label as Pretty good or Decent will indicate us those IVs are below 31.
Nevertheless, as we were saying, a very much welcome featuring in this new generation is the opportunity to change certain aspects of our Pokémon once hatched.
So, if it is the case anything went wrong during the breeding, we could still fix it with specific items.
- Bottle Caps: Max the 31 IVs of one stat.
- Golden Bottle Caps: Max the 31 IVs of every stat.
Isle Of Armor And Crown Tundra Boxes
With two expansions adding around a hundred Pokemon each, youve probably got a ton of new mons to store. The PC fills up fast as it is, but youll need even more organization now that there are so many more Pokemon.
Its also hard to remember which returning Pokemon are from the base game and who came back in the DLC. It could be wise to create particular boxes for each DLC pack. This can help you store what you need to evolve for the Pokedex, if nothing else.

What Is Pokemon Home
Pokemon Home is a cloud-based system where you will be able to store all your Pokemon you caught in various Pokemon Go games. It works seamlessly with all core games of Pokemon Go. Although this is the case, there are certain restrictions put in place. You can transfer a certain type of Pokemon, and there is a limit on the number of Pokemon that can be stored in the allocated storage space. Also, there will be restrictions on where a Pokemon can be transferred after it is in your Pokemon Home account. Even though you can transfer Pokemon from various core games, you will only be able to transfer out a particular Pokemon into Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield and those species must be available in the Galar region Pokédex or Pokémon added during the DLC expansion pass, Isle of Armor, and Crown Tundra. In the next section, we will look at how to get the Mystery Box in Pokemon Go.

Use The Destiny Knot
Eggs inherit 3 random IVs from their parents. By using the Destiny Knot, you can inherit 5 IVs! Keep in mind, you will inherit 5 from both parents, which means that if both parents have higher IVs, the chance of producing a better Pokemon will increase.
Destiny Knot + Power Items Effects
Combining a Power Item with a Destiny Knot does not guarantee you will pass down 6 IVs. It just means that you are guaranteeing one particular IV. It’s generally recommended to use the Destiny Knot + Everstone when breeding in most cases.

Transferring Pokmon From Pokmon Home To Pokmon Sword And Shield
You can only transfer Pokémon that you can catch in Pokémon Sword and Shield from Pokémon Home into those games. That means you cant transfer Pokémon like Wurmple to Pokémon Sword and Shield, but they can stay in Pokémon Home indefinitely, so long as you pay your subscription fees.
Mythical Pokémon like Mew and Victini can only transfer to Pokémon Sword and Shield if you already have a legitimate version of that Pokémon in your Pokédex. These Pokémon have been available through events for a number of years, but if you missed out youll need to trade with a friend before you can transfer a mythical Pokémon to the main series game.

Can I Use Pokmon Home To Transfer My Original Gen 1 And 2 Pokmon From Pokmon Red / Blue / Yellow / Gold / Silver / Crystal On Game Boy To Pokmon Sword And Shield
Unfortunately, no. The Pokémon you first caught two decades ago are forever trapped on those original Game Boy cartridges or on Pokémon Stadium. Of course, using various shady tactics and compromised hardware, enterprising Poké Trainers have been known to dump their original saves from the Game Boy carts, upload them to the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red and Blue, and then move those to Pokémon Bank, but we shall not delve into those dark arts here.
No, it seems that Stinkypoo the Pikachu, Wormy the Weedle and Metapoo the Metapod will die on our Game Boy carts along with the battery. Probably for the best, to be honest.

What Is Bp And What You Can Buy
Pokemon Sword and Shield takes a lot of liberties with the franchise. Dynamaxing, the Wild Area, and many other aspects have been totally reworked or created out of whole cloth. But its still a Pokemon game at its core, which means theres a lot of things carried over from previous titles. The Battle Tower is one of these, with the usual gauntlet of trainers to take on. The reward is the same too, but many players arent sure how it all works. Heres how to get BP in Pokemon Sword and Shield. But first we should explain what is BP.

In Pokemon, even two Pokemon of the same species will have distinct individual characteristics. These include IVs, Natures, & Abilities. Breeding is the process through which you can select particular traits to pass down to new Pokemon. How To Earn Battle Points In Pokmon Sword And Shield
Prepare to wait a while.
If you have come across a few stores in Pokémon Sword and Shield with various rare items, you might notice that you require a form of currency known as BP.
But how exactly do you get a hold of this currency?
Battle Points, or BP for short, is a form of currency that you earn mainly in the post-game after completing the story and saving the Galar region.
You can acquire BP by taking part in the Battle Tower and taking on waves of trainers. Each trainer you beat rewards you with a small amount of BP. Players can collect BP to purchase rare hold items or other rewards.
You can also earn BP through mystery gifts, should Game Freak ever decide to send some out, or by participating in online tournaments featuring other players from across the world. You can earn an even larger amount of BP for placing highly on the leaderboards.
After you have your BP, feel free to spend it on any crucial items you need on your way to the top.
How To Get Bp
The answer is simple: win Battle Tower matches. Each victory will yield some BP that you can spend in the Battle Tower shop. Win enough and youll gain in ranks which means youll start earning even more BP per battle. The more you fight, the more you earn, the more you can buy. Its that simple. While every currency in the game is important, the items you can buy with BP really do change the postgame experience quite a lot. Youll want to get here and start winning matches as quickly as possible, so be sure to get to it. But thats how to get BP in Pokemon Sword and Shield, so good luck out there.
