What Uses A Sun Stone To Evolve
The following Pokémon use or used Sun Stones to evolve:
Sun Stones can be obtained in the wild by Smeargle only on Sunday, and at no other time. A Sun Stone is also obtainable via Island Scan by scanning QR Codes on the island of its respective game. These are not yet available in Pokémon Sun or Moon.
Sun Stones can be obtained at the Battle Royal Dome by battling with your Pokémon. These are not yet available in Pokémon Sun or Moon.
Sun Stones can also be earned via Level Up after completing Grand Trial of Akala Island! They will not count as a regular level-up, so dont expect your Pokémon to learn new moves. If your Pokémon evolves into a Sun Stone form, it will not be able to level up until you use an Everstone on it.
So far, there are no other means of obtaining Sun Stones in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Use Ios Location Spoofer
Step 1. Download, install and run Dr. Fone Virtual location on your computer. Tap the âVirtual Locationâ option.

Where To Find Evolutionary Stones
There are a couple of reliable ways to find evolutionary stones in Sword and Shield. Each day, you can find different stones behind the boulders in the Lake of Outrage, so it’s a good idea to return to the area often to pick them up. You can also give 500 Watts–a new type of currency in Sword and Shield–to the Digging Duo near the Pokemon Nursery in Bridge Field to have them excavate items. The items they can dig up typically include evolutionary stones, so you’ll want to collect as many Watts as you can and visit the duo often to stock up.

How To Get The Sun Stone
The Sun Stone is obtained from spinning Pokestops and Gyms.There is a very low drop chance of around 1% per spin to receivea Sun Stone or any of the other evolution item, and thereis an equal chance of obtaining each of the 5 currently available items.
There’s no way to ensure that the Sun Stone will drop,but with only 4 other items, there’s a greater than 50% chancethat you’ll receive one once you’ve spun over 250 Pokéstops.
The 7th day streak bonus gives you a very high chance of obtainingone of the evolution item, but it’s not believed to be guaranteed.
Is Gengar Better Than Alakazam
While Alakazams Speed and SpA are slightly higher, Gengar has an advantage. Gengar has no useful stat boosting moves, preventing it from becoming the ultimate sweeper that it so easily could be. Defensively, both of these Pokemon are weak to Ghost and Dark types, plus Bug for Alakazam and Psychic for Gengar.

What Are The Evolution Items
Before Gen 2 was released, all you needed to evolve a pocket monster was collect enough candies. Now, for some special Pokemon, you need to collect the candies and an evolution item.
Here are the evolution items and how to identify them:
- Sun stone is a red-and-orange rock with points sticking out of the sides.
- King’s rock looks like a yellow castle with broken walls.
- Metal coat looks like two silver, round batteries stacked on top of each other.
- Dragon scale is an oval with blue and yellow markings.
- Upgrade item looks kind of like a long, yellow taser.

How To Get A Sun Stone In Pokmon Bdsp
Sun Stones are one of the hardest Evolution Stones to come across as there are none in the overworld, requiring that players either mine one or catch a Pokémon thats holding one. However, theres a chance that a wild Solrock will be holding a Sun Stone when it is caught. Trainers can find Solrock in Still-Water Caverns, Stargleam Caverns, Riverbank Caves, and Dazzling Caves in the Grand Underground once they have the National Dex. In addition, sun Stones can be used to evolve two species of Pokémon from the National Dex:
- Gloom to Bellossom
- Sunkern to Sunflora

Pokemon Go Wiki Guide
The Sun Stone is another of the new Evolution Items that can be used in conjunction with Pokemon Candy to evolve some of the Gen 1 Pokemon to new Gen 2 evolutions.
Initially there were rumors indicating that Evolution Items were guaranteed rewards for 7-day Pokestop streaks, but that has been discredited. Evolution items are incredibly rare and have less than a 1% chance of being found at Pokestops.
However, as of an app update in late March 2017 you are now guaranteed an Evolution Item for a 7-day Pokestop streak.
Currently, the applicable Pokemon for this item is Gloom, who can evolve into Bellossom using the Sun Stone as well as 100 OddishCandy, or into Vileplume using just candy and Sunkern, who can evolve into Sunflora using the Sun Stone as well as 50 Sunkern Candy.

Well get the bad news out of the way first for these three originals, after youve used the nickname trick, were afraid there isnt really much more you can do to guarantee them.

What Do Evolution Items Do In Pokemon Go
If youve spun a Pokestop for the seventh day in a row or finished your weekly research breakthrough task and found a brand new shiny thing youve never seen before, you can say hello to your first Pokemon Go evolution item. You might even have a few you dont know you have, so pop into your items list and have a quick scroll.
Evolution items were introduced with the Gen 2 update all the way back in 2017 and mean a whole stack of new mon via evolution if you hoard your candy just right. So far, weve only got one fourth generation item, the Sinnoh Stone, but youre going to need it for a stack of 4th generation Pokemon evolutions. After making it through the mines of the Iron Islands with Riley, there will be a Poké Ball containing a Shiny Stone on the right side of the room just before the mines exit. There is also another Shiny Stone on Route 228 on the left side of a narrow bridge before the double battle with two Pokémon Rangers. Shiny Stones are required to level up two species of Pokémon:
- Roselia to Roserade
Oval Stone Locations In Pokmon Bdsp
In the Lost Tower just south of Solaceon Town on the right side of Route 209, theres a Poké Ball on the ground in front of Youngster Oliver with an Oval Stone inside. Theres also a small chance that a wild Happiny or Chansey will be holding one of these stones when they are caught. Chansey can be caught on Route 209 and Route 210, and both of these Pokémon can be found in the Trophy Garden. While its technically not categorized as an Evolution Stone, the Oval Stone can be given to Happiny to hold so it will evolve into a Chansey when it levels up.

How Iv Affects Max Cp
Lets say I have two Snorlaxes and I am a level 40 player . Both are currently at 2500 CP, but:
- one has 100% IVs and Max CP of 3355
- the other has 0% IVs and Max CP of 2926
If I chose to power up the 100% IV Snorlax to its max CP, I would need to power it up all the way to 3355 CP, which is the max CP Snorlax can have . However, if I were to power up the 0% IV Snorlax, it would only go to 2926 CP which is the max it can have with 0% IVs.

When it comes to a Snorlax, you can expect there is approximately a 400 CP difference between 100% IVs and 0, but lets not forget that Snorlax is one of the highest CPs in the game: this 400 CP difference is around the maximum difference between highest and lowest CP of any given Pokemon.
This really isnt a huge difference. If you have a Pokemon that is in the highest or second highest IV tier, it really is not that far away from perfect Max CP. So evolving a Pokemon with IVs in the first or second tier is a good idea, you dont need to wait for the perfect IVs.
Never power up a Pokémon before evolving it! If you get a bad moveset, its CP value doesnt really matter and you probably dont want to power up it!

Pokemon Go Unova Stones: Who To Evolve
Theres a bunch of new Pokemon in the game now, but theres only a few specific ones that will evolve with a Pokemon Go Unova Stone:
- Pansage evolves into Simisage with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Panpour evolves into Simipour with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Pansear evolves into Simisear with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Lampent evolves into Chandelure with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Minccino evolves into Cinccino with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Eelektrik evolves into Eelektross with an Unova Stone and 100 candy
- Munna evolves into Musharna with an Unova Stone and 50 candy
