Fans know that Pokémon Journeys is premiering in sections on Netflix, but what date will season 4 release outside Japan?
When Netflix announced that they were partnering with The Pokémon Company International and would broadcast their latest series, titled Journeys, fans lost their minds.
Season 1 of the hit new series is still being broadcast weekly in Japan, but US Netflix is releasing the first season in different stages with the second being released on September 11th.
The third season premiered around the world in early-December 2020, but what date will season 4 release on Netflix and what do we know so far about season 2?

Pokmon Journeys: The Series Is Finally Coming To Netflix In The Uk
The latest series of the Pokémon anime, Pokémon Journeys: The Series, will finally be available to stream on Netflix in the UK starting next month, The Pokémon Company has revealed.
The show which is Pokémons 23rd animated series has seen a staggered release on Netflix in the US over the past year or so, with episodes being released in chunks at set intervals. In the UK, Journeys has been airing on the kids channel, POP, but will make the jump to Netflix in its entirety on 1st July. Thats right, the whole season will be dropping on the same day.

Pokmon’s Dawn To Return In New Anime Arc
Dawn returns to Pokémon for the first time in nine years for a Journeys mini-arc, joining Ash and his friends in a new adventure in the Sinnoh region.
A fan-favorite character from the Pokémon series will be rejoining Ash, Goh and Chloe on their adventures.
According to Serebii, Dawn will be joining Ash and his friends in their journey through the Sinnoh region, as they return to the region for a mini-arc. A new visual confirmed that she will be a part of the upcoming Darkrai and Cresselia episodes set to release in Japan on July 23 and July 30.

The episodes will follow Ash and Goh’s return to the Sinnoh region in order to investigate strange occurrences that have been plaguing its citizens, such as nightmares that have been linked to Darkrai. After meeting Chloe while she was on her own journey, Dawn joins the crew in their journey to uncover the truth behind everyone’s nightmares.
This is Dawn’s first appearance in the anime in nine years since the Unova region in the Black and White arc. This news comes on the heels of the announcement of the remastered Pokémon games set to release later in the fall, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which feature her and other characters from the Sinnoh region.
Pokémon Journeys is available on Netflix. Part 5 has yet to receive a release date.

Pokemon 2022 On Netflix Us Likely To Be Pokemon Master Journeys Part 3
Its currently uncertain whether Netflixs Pokemon Master Journeys anime will restart the episode count as part of Generation 8. As in, its possible the TV shows continuation could simply be listed as Pokemon Journeys Episode 49 through 60.
Based on history, the title for Pokemon Journeys 2021 was extended to Pokemon Master Journeys to include the new focus for the time frame. This fits the pattern since the three seasons of Generation 7, Pokemon: Sun and Moon, were extended with the subtitles Ultra Adventures and Ultra Legends.
Although Part 4 was listed on the official Pokemon website as the final season on the Netflix streaming platform, Netflix was not going to give up exclusive rights to international streaming for such a popular brand name. Assuming Part 6 finishes off Episode 72, that means Pokemon Master Journeys Part 3 will continue the story on Netflix in 2022.
Based on the previously announced release schedule, the Pokemon Master Journeys Part 3 release date on Netflix U.S. will be in March 2022, the final month of the Winter 2022 anime TV season.
Pokemon Journeys Part 6 Release Date On Netflix Us Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 In December 2021
The Pokemon Journeys Part 6 release date on Netflix is scheduled for December 2021.
Its possible that Pokemon Journeys Episodes 61 through 72 will be officially labeled as Netflixs Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2.
The official website said in March 2021 that Part 4 was the final collection of Pokemon Journeys: The Series episodes that would release on Netflix.
Therefore, Pokemon Journeys Part 4 was the ending of Pokemon Season 23 since the 2021 Pokemon Master Journeys anime is the official title for Pokemon Season 24, which came out in Summer 2021.
As Netflix users know, the streaming giant likes to set up audiences for binge-watching rather than releasing episodes weekly. That means Pokemon Journeys will be split up into multiple seasons or parts.
Rather than releasing a Part 5, the Pokemon Master Journeys Netflix release date is on September 10, 2021. The initial release of Netflixs Pokemon Master Journeys will include 12 episodes.
The question is, where does Pokemon Master Journeys Episode 1 start? Monsters and Critics reached out to Netflix for clarification on this issue. Based on the email correspondence, its officially confirmed that Season 23 is ending with Episode 48, so Pokemon Master Journeys Part 1 will include Pokemon Journeys Episodes 49 through 60.
Since Part 5 is coming out in September 2021, the Pokemon Journeys Part 6 release date will be scheduled for December 2021. Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 will include Pokemon Journeys Episodes 61 through 72.

Pokmon Journeys Season : Renewal Status
In Japan, all of the previously released episodes are part of season 1, with Netflix opting to make each part its own season.
At the time of writing, Pokémon Journeys has not been officially renewed for a second season in Japan.
The first season concludes in March in Japan, so its not unusual for producers/networks to wait until after a season finishes before announcing a renewal.
However, there are reports that season 2 of Pokémon Journeys is already in the works hopefully, we will get an official confirmation that the 24th season of Pokémon will be a sequel to Journeys.

Fans of the resurgent Pokémon franchise dont have to wait much longer for new episodes of the latest season.
Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the 8th part and 23rd season of the long-running Pokémon anime. It aired in Japan on Nov. 17, 2019 and has been released consistently since. Pokemon Master Journeys Episode 13 Story Summary
In the first 24 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Ash and Goh became research assistants at the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City and found themselves traveling the Pokemon world studying and training Pokemon.
The two discovered the wonders of Gigantamax Pokemon, explored Galars Wild Area, and even found some common ground with Team Rocket. And while Ash continued his journey to become a Pokemon Master, Goh ccaught his first Pokemon and discovered that Pokemon battles can be fun.
Episodes 25 through 36 had Ash returning to the Kalos Region with Goh to compete in the Battle Festival. Goh witnessed Mega-Evolution for the first time. They also traveled to the Galar Region to see a World Coronation Series Match.
The biggest development was that Pikachu became jealous of Ash focusing on training Riolu and ran away! Obviously, Ashs bond with Pikachu is restored and strengthened, and Goh desires a Pikachu of his own.
Pikachu even refuses a Thunder Stone so he can evolve into a Raichu!
At the beginning of Part 4, Ash had been suffering from a serious losing streak, and his confidence was down in the dumps. But Ash was cheered up when his journey took him back to Alola, and his friends threw a party for him.
Their journey took them to many new exciting locations, with a long Sword and Shield story arc being a highlight. But the climax was when the legendary Clone Pokemon Mewtwo showed up and battled Ash and Goh!

How Long Will Pokemon Journeys Continue
As previously noted, Netflix confirmed that Pokemon Journeys Episode 48 was the ending of the previous season. Each new Pokemon season tends to have around 50 episodes. For example, Pokemon XYZ had 47 episodes, while Pokemon Season 22 had 54 episodes.
But Pokemon Season 23 is highly unusual in that it was already confirmed to have 75 episodes in Japan before Netflix confirmed the episode count! The Pokemon Journeys Episode 75 release date in Japan is confirmed for July 30, 2021.
Now that we know that Pokemon Master Journeys starts with Episode 49, the plan is to continue releasing new episodes in blocks of 12.
The new Pokemon Season 24 will have approximately 42 episodes in total. That means this newest generation of anime episodes will have 90 episodes in total between the two parts.
How Many Episodes Are Releasing
While we do not know how many total episodes the season will have in the end, it appears Netflix is going with the same strategy as with Pokemon Journeys when it comes to the number of episodes.
When Pokemon Master Journeys The Series hits Netflix this Friday, it will include the first 12 episodes of the season. It worked out that there were exactly 48 episodes last season to where it evened out when split up into four batches, so well see if that stays the same this season.

Pokemon Journeys Part 5 Release Date On Netflix Us Pokemon Master Journeys Continues The Story In September 2021
The Pokemon Journeys Part 5 release date on Netflix is on September 10, 2021, but there will be a major change to the renewed TV show. The new episodes will officially be considered the 24th season, Pokemon Master Journeys, which will continue the story.

The fourth chapter in Pokémon Journeys will release on US Netflix in March, almost three months exactly since the season 3 premiere.
It is assumed that there will be one final episode drop for season 5 for Netflix, but these episodes are currently labelled as TBA for the English release.

Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episode 71 was released on Friday, June 18, 2021, titled Lets Go! Project Mew!!.
The episode begins with Goh getting an email from project Mew to meet them at their lab at the base of Mt. Coronet. Our heroes reach the base and they find Gary there talking to one of the people and as Gary comes in. He antagonizes Goh by saying it seems even weak trainers can try out for project Mew with Oaks recommendation. They go into the lab where they meet the leader of Project Mew Hodaka. They also meet Asahi, the girl that Gary was talking to before. She tells them about Project Mew. The search is going to take place in the mountains in a one-week period between the rainy and dry seasons. Because otherwise, it gets way too foggy to explore. Project Mew is going to have a five-man chase team, Asahi is one of them as well as the guy named Tsurugi.
Pokemon Master Journeys Ending In 2022
Based on the release schedule, Pokemon Journeys Part 7 would release episodes 73 through 84.
Assuming that Pokemon Journeys Episode 90 contains the ending, its possible the last several episodes could be bundled with Part 7. Or, its possible Pokemon Journeys Part 8 will release episodes 85 through 90 in June 2022.
Either way, Pokemon Master Journeys should be finished before the ending of 2022. That means well just have to wait until details about Pokemon Season 25 are released.

When Does Pokmons Part 5 Premiere
