Pokmon Firered And Leafgreen
Starters: Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur
The first remake for Game Freak, FireRed and LeafGreen are the 2004 enhanced remakes of the original Red and Blue. Although they were made based on Red and Blue, theyre actually part of the third generation of Pokémon games. The game takes us back to the Kanto region, giving us memories of some of the Pokémon weve seen before.
However, at the end of the game, were welcomed to the Sevii Islands, which is a completely new area that wasnt available in either Red or Blue. This island stands out because it holds Pokémon that were normally exclusive to the Johto region and has a few post-game missions that can be fun. Whats more, once the missions on the Sevii Islands are completed, players were able to trade Pokémon with players who had Ruby or Sapphire, making it possible to have Hoenn-exclusive Pokémon as well.
Pokmon Sword And Shield: 81/100
At its core, Pokémon Sword and Shield is a role-playing game about a fantastic world full of magical wildlife, continuing the trend of following a young Pokémon trainer through their journey. Featuring a locale based on the United Kingdom, Pokémon Sword and Shield took some of the best achievements from previous titles and incorporated them in this latest entry. Pokémon roam the overworld much like in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! and there are even raid encounters players can team up to tackle.
With a score of 81, Pokémon Sword and Shield stands as the best-received Pokémon games on Switch. The titles capture enough of what has made Pokémon great over the franchise’s lifetime while finding places to introduce new features and improvements. It’s all accomplished without rocking the precariously perched boat enough to scare off longtime fans or newcomers. Critics praised the title for streamlining tedious activities and reinvigorating battles with the Dynamax feature.
Pokmon White/black And White/black 2
Starter Pokémon: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott
Generation five was an oddity. It was the first in the series to get a direct sequel, with Black 2 and White 2 releasing a year after the originals. The sequels did retread familiar territory, but told a new story and featured some new areas and new Pokémon. Generation five also holds the record for the most Pokémon, with 156 new Pokémon to catch.
Even more so than Diamond and Pearl, though, gen five, especially the sequels, felt like a stopgap for the series next evolution. While we regard generation five as the worst, we still think its pretty darn good. It didnt introduce much new at all, but the true sequel concept was intriguing nonetheless.

Ni No Kuni Ii: Revenant Kingdom
There are nowhere near as many, but it’s hard to look at the Higgledies found in Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom and not be reminded of Pokemon. Each has its own elemental affinity and a set of four moves that can be used in battle. There’s also a ‘catch ’em all’ type feeling to them, although there aren’t quite as many.
Collecting Higgeldies might not be the central focus in Ni No Kuni II‘s story, but the creatures play an integral role in its gameplay. What’s more, deciding which four Higgeldies to take into battle requires similar planning to selecting a team of Pokemon. There may not be as much depth, but there’s just as much charm.
Team Battles: Pokmon Unite
Square off in 5-on-5 team battles while using teamwork to score points and take down opponents. There’s a good roster of characters, and each Pokémon has its own Battle type with strengths and weaknesses, which you’ll need to use to your advantage. Best of all, Pokémon Unite is free-to-play, though there are optional in-game purchases.

Pokemon Sword & Shield
Pokemon Sword & Shield ushers in the Galar region, an expansive new locale filled with new Pokemon and a familiar but refined loop. Once again, you’re working to be the best that ever was, starting off with one Pokemon and no badges and slowly working your way to filling out your Pokedex and becoming the Pokemon League Champion. The Galar region has several Wild Areas , new open sections filled with different species of Pokemon roaming in plain sight. These sections offer a nice change of pace to the streamlined journeys of previous games, and the new Dynamax mechanic and rotating raids add more continuous content to enjoy. With a great collection of new Pokemon, more customization options available at your fingertips, and a wealth of content that only gets more substantial when you factor in the pair of expansions, Pokemon Sword & Shield is a worthy addition to the beloved franchise.
The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is a traditional Zelda adventure reborn with colorful, cutesy graphics. It’s the third time Link’s Awakening has been released, and it remains as charming as ever. Unlike most Zelda games, Link’s Awakening isn’t set in Hyrule. It takes place on the bizarre Koholint Island, which is filled with plenty of interesting characters. Link’s Awakening is a top-down Zelda with a conventional dungeon structure that is more approachable to youngsters than Breath of the Wild.

Pokmon X And Y Should Receive Ports For The Nintendo Switch
Of the eight generations currently available in the Pokémon series, Pokémon X and Y would be among some of the most exciting titles to receive a potential port to the Nintendo Switch. The Kalos region introduced many mechanics that have become popular in subsequent installations to the series, including enhanced battle mechanics like Mega Evolutions, character customization, and heavier importance on Pokémon NPC involvement in the narrative. Pokémon X and Y were released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS, during the transition from the well-known pixelated graphics and sprites of the original games to the widespread use of 3D art and models in more recent titles. Because of this, the art and gameplay would likely hold up well on the Nintendo Switch, with minimal changes needed to be enjoyable.
A Fresh Pokmon Nintendo Switch Game
GameFreak has confirmed in the Nintendo E3 Spotlight that it is, in fact, working on a full RPG Pokémon title for the Switch.
GameFreak has begun developing a core RPG Pokémon title on Nintendo Switch, said The Pokémon Companys Tsunekazu Ishihara. It may not release for more than a year, but we hope youll look forward to it all the same.
Back in September 2016, Pokémon Sun and Moon director Shigeru Ohmori spoke about a potential Pokémon Nintendo Switch game.
When it comes to the main series, thinking of Pokémon RPGs that we develop at Game Freak, we always really consider the timing of when we released them, Ohmori said to Gameinformer. There has to be a certain point where were able to release the games and get them into the hands of enough people, to make sure the audience is big enough. This year, with Pokémon Sun and Moon, obviously were going to be starting to think about the next title, and then depending on what that timing is, I think that will determine which platform we would release it on.
Game Freak posted a variety of job listings for an RPG title thats popular on a global scale. It also added that it was a game that everyone knows. Although Game Freak does make other games, its best known for the Pokémon series, so wed be incredibly surprised if the jobs werent related to a new title.

Generation 5 Pokmon Games
The Unova region was the go-to destination for generation 5 of Pokémon and once again the games that came out for it were released exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Interestingly, this generation went down the route of giving itself a hasty brace of sequels, rather than remaking any old generations.

Is It Possible To Hack Nintendo Switch And Switch Lite
Most methods use a system vulnerability that allows, through software, hardware or a combination of both, to inject software into the system that allows third-party code to be executed without any problem. This is obviously used to load illegal copies of Nintendo titles, as well as install other additional applications for all kinds of purposes.
But Nintendo has gotten tired, so they have filed two complaints with which they will try to stop the negotiations and sales of nine online stores that are responsible for selling and distributing hacks and mods for Switch. Among those stores is Uberchips.com, which, according to Nintendo, is responsible for selling tools to the public to hack the console and be able to run copies of games.
According to the manufacturer, the sale of these products is illegal, since they violate the anti-circumvention laws of the DMCA, something that would affect the famous Team-Xecuter SX Pro, a dongle that allows to speed up the hacking process in a simple way. steps and that accumulates great sales in all types of distributors.
Is the switch backwards compatible?
Nintendo answer the question on their website. The video game company says: The Nintendo Switch console is an all-new way to play, and will not include backwards compatibility.

How Will Pokmon Stars Be Different
Officially, theres been no mention of Pokémon Stars yet, but that hasnt stopped the online rumour mill churning. It seems that itll be basically the same game as Pokémon Sun and Moon. However, it could be that there might be more Pokémon to collect in Pokémon Starsand all of those featured across both games can be traded using Pokémon Bank, which we assume will come to Nintendo Switch too in the future.
Pokémon Stars will, of course, be running at a much higher resolution than Pokémon Sun and Moon on the 3DS, using separately created graphics. As a reminder, the Nintendo Switch runs games at a max 720p HD in tablet mode, which is boosted to a max 1080p full HD. The 3DS, on the other hand, features a top screen with a resolution of just 800 x 240p.
Aside from that, youre looking at the same map, the same story and the same basic game as Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Digimon World: Next Order
The lack of recent updates regarding Digimon Survive will perhaps be a cause for concern for some, particularly as there’s still no solid release date. That said, it looks like it’s shaping up to be an excellent game. In the meantime, however, there are plenty of other great Digimon games for players to sink their teeth into, one of which is the 2017 title, Digimon World: Next Order.
The game features over 200 creatures for players to collect and is one of the largest games in the series to date. The battle system is solid too and there’s a strong emphasis placed on the importance of the bond between players and their Digimon. Like many of the other games in the Digimon World series, there is quite a bit of grinding, although not quite enough to ruin the experience.

Sword Dlc: Pokmon Sword Expansion Pass
With this pass, Pokémon Sword owners can explore two new locations within the Galar region: the Crown Tundra and the Armor Isle. The Crown Tundra is filled with legendary Pokémon from previous games, while the Armor Isle provides a new storyline and a new Pokémon for players to evolve. You do need the base game to play this DLC.
Release Date: Early 2022
Last but not least of the games announced earlier this year is Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It serves as a prequel to Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and in turn the Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl games. It is expected to be out around a year from now.
While it will honor the core gameplay of the games that have become for it, Pokémon Legends: Arceus makes history because it is the first action-RPG in the main series and Game Freaks first attempt at that sub-genre of games.
The reveal trailer saw many fans comparing the environment, gameplay, and general cinematic style to that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is set to feature an open-world setting that is an extension of the Wild Area that was introduced in Pokémon Sword & Shield . Though it hasnt been confirmed, its speculated that the objective of the game will be to create Sinnohs first Pokédex.

The Witcher : Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3 is one of the best open-world games of the last decade and now you can take it with you anywhere. The Switch version of the fantasy epic is slightly compromised the visuals in particular have taken a hit in order to squeeze such a big game onto a tiny handheld. But the payoff is worth it. Theres something very satisfying about being able to play a huge adventure like this wherever you are, and even though The Witcher 3 is nearly five years old at this point, it holds up remarkably well. Even better, the Switch version features all of the downloadable expansions, so you have lots of quality time with Geralt to look forward to.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate
With more than 80 fighters so far, more than 100 stages, and a wide variety of content whether you’re playing multiplayer or refining your skills against the CPU, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the most comprehensive and plentiful brawler in franchise history. The expansive roster of characters with totally different playstyles is impressive enough to keep you playing for the long haul, but Smash Bros. Ultimate is far more than just a collection of Nintendo characters and anime characters with swords hitting each other repeatedly it’s a deeply satisfying brawler that refines the overall gameplay to make the most technically sound Smash Bros. to date. It’s full of video game history, too, from unlockable trinkets to iconic music. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best fighting game on Nintendo Switch. We’d also recommend the first and second Fighter Passes, which grant access to additional characters and stages.

Pokmon Diamond And Pearl Need Switch Ports Before November
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the remakes of Diamond and Pearl released in 2006, will be available to play for the Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2021. Nintendo has teased gameplay, revealing a colorful reimaging of the classic Sinnoh region, as well as updated battle mechanics and additional features. While it isn’t yet known if the remakes will be as true to the originals as past full remakes have been, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl would benefit from Switch ports of the original games before the release of the remake.
Originally released for the Nintendo DS, Diamond and Pearl are among the many Pokémon games that have become hard to find due to the passage of time. Nintendo hasn’t rereleased physical copies of past Pokémon games, making the original copies the only ones available. While Diamond and Pearl are technically playable on the Nintendo 3DS due to backward compatibility with the previous DS systems, many fans of the series may find their original cartridges have been lost, have stopped working, or perhaps the players never had the chance to purchase the games upon their original release.
Appearances In Other Games
Several Pokémon PC games were released for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. Games from the franchise were also released in Japan for Sega consoles Pico and Advanced Pico Beena. Pokémon are also in for Nintendo 64DD as pasteable stickers, and they also appear in Picross NP Vol. 1 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Perhaps this is a little unfair considering Pokémon HOME isnt a game per se, but its still an official Pokémon application available on the Switch, so we decided to include it anyway. Its completely free and acts ascloud-based storage for Pokémon.
There is a mobile version of the game and of course, a Switch version. The Switch version boasts some exclusive features, including access to the Basic Box where 30 Pokémon can be stored. Pokémon from Lets Go Pikachu!, Lets Go Eevee! and Pokémon Sword & Shield can all be stored here.
A key criticism of HOME is that if you really want to use the full breadth of it and if youre a hardcore Pokémon player, theres a good chance that youll have to pay for the Premium plan which allows you to store up to 6,000 Pokémon. A 30-day subscription will cost you $2.69 while a full year will put you $14.39 out of pocket.
Can You Play Older Pokemon Games On Nintendo Switch
Pokemon fans have been fighting for this capability since the Nintendo Switch was released. The Virtual Console has been a haven for fans of the older Pokemon games. The 3DS version allowed players to jump into the classics and play them as if it was a Game Boy at their fingertips.
Give us the GBA games on Switch virtual console
The Nintendo Switch has no such capability at this point. In regards to main series games, it only allows Sword and Shield and the Let’s Go series. That will soon change with the release of the Diamond and Pearl remakes.
New spin-off games, such as New Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Legends Arceus, are on the horizon too. They are sure to bring many fresh and exciting adventures, but nothing can top the experience, the sounds, and the joy, of the older Pokemon games.
There have been countless rumors of an upgraded Nintendo Switch console being made. That has also delivered countless rumors of a new Virtual Console being released to appease users who may not purchase the new Switch right away.
