Every Buddy keeps the core of the original with a layer of new features. The upgraded version includes a buddy system: the ability to bring companions into dungeons to take on your foes. Each buddy only has one ability, but it is still better than crawling dungeons all by your Chocobo self.

Cid and his partner Chocobo are sucked into a vortex and dumped into a town called Lostime, where, in the center of the town square, the Bell of Oblivion rings periodically, keeping the townspeople in a perpetually amnesiac state. Chocobo and his companions set off heroically, crawling dungeons to recover the lost memories of the residents of Lostime. Every Buddy throws in a new buddy system so players can take critters and other characters along with them to assist in clearing the dungeons.

Its safe to say that people whove played Every Buddy! probably did so for the cuteness factor alone Chocobo going Kweh! is adorable! Theres a lot to do in Chocobos Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! and quite a bit of customization beyond the adorable cookies and cream aesthetics.

Developer Studio Aurum and publisher SOEDESCO have announced that the monster raising RPG Monster Crown will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on October 12th, 2021. Monster Crown will also have both digital and physical forms become available from this date.The game has been in development for over four years, and the early access version was launched on Steam back in July 2020, with it receiving a very positive response from audiences.

Monster Crown is an RPG tamer experience, although it has a far darker tale than other monster-raising counterparts. Games like Pokémon might have heavily inspired it, but the twist and turns in the world make it anything from a childrens game, with many dark themes explored. If you watch the early access trailer down below, there are even a few naughty words featured in the text dialogue, which you certainly wouldnt see in a mainline Pokémon game.

The story transpires in a dark world tarnished with a menacing history of sadistic rulers and heroic saviours. The Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite are getting a new Pokemon-inspired game this summer. More specifically, developer Vewo Interactive and publisher PQube have announced that the former’s monster-catching game, Nexomon: Extinction, which is clearly inspired by the Pokemon series, especially the Pokemon games of yesteryear, will hit not just the Nintendo Switch this summer, but the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And to accompany this news, the pair also revealed a brand new trailer of the game.

According to the Vewo Interactive, Nexomon: Extinction is a return to, and celebration of, classic monster-catching games that features a brand new type of story, eccentric characters, and 300 unique Nexomon monsters to trap and tame.

“The world is on the brink of extinction as mighty Tyrant Nexomon fight for dominion over humans and monsters,” reads an official story blurb about the game. “Join the guild of tamers and begin an epic journey to restore balance before all hope is lost

Nexomon: Extinction is in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and is currently scheduled to release sometime this summer. In addition to a precise release date, it’s unclear how much the game will cost at launch.
