How To Get A Sinnoh Stone In Pokemon Go
There are currently three ways to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon Go.
- On the completion of the final day of your 7 day Research Task
- During PvP
- Battling against the three team leaders on Community Day
Yes, those looking for Sinnoh Stones at Poke Stops or as part of the tasks themselves can stop torturing themselves. The two main places to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon Go are currently only on the 7th day of your Research Task completion or as a reward for taking part in PvP. Unfortunately theres no guarantee that you will get a Sinnoh Stone as the end of your seven day streak but the chances are very high of a Sinnoh Stone dropping as well as your usual Pokemon Go Legendaries reward.
Another far less common place to find this elusive special item is during the newly introduced PvP, where it is possible for a Sinnoh Stone to drop as part of your post battle rewards. Theres no clear sign of the odds of this though as people have been rewarded for both wins and losses with this special item. Just like the Pokemon Go shiny list, its going to be a case of letting yourself not get too frustrated by the odds.
If you dont fancy spinning the PvP wheel, stick to getting through your Research Tasks every day and every seven days you should earn yourself a Sinnoh Stone. Then its merely a matter of choosing which of the 4th generation Pokemon youre going to evolve first.
How To Use The Magnetic Lure In Pokemon Go
The Magnetic Lure is one of three new types of lure in the game and it works much like a normal lure, with some slight modifications. For 30 minutes, extra Pokemon will be attracted to the lure, but while a normal lure can attract any type of Pokemon, a Magnetic Lure will only attract electric, steel, and rock type pocket monsters.
It’s also an evolution item! If you’re within the vicinity of a Poke Stop with a Magnetic Lure applied, you can evolve Magneton and Nosepass into Magnezone and Probopass respectively – provided you have enough candy, of course. The Sun Stone is obtained from spinning Pokestops and Gyms.There is a very low drop chance of around 1% per spin to receivea Sun Stone or any of the other evolution item, and thereis an equal chance of obtaining each of the 5 currently available items.
There’s no way to ensure that the Sun Stone will drop,but with only 4 other items, there’s a greater than 50% chancethat you’ll receive one once you’ve spun over 250 Pokéstops.
The 7th day streak bonus gives you a very high chance of obtainingone of the evolution item, but it’s not believed to be guaranteed.
Where To Get Sun Stones In Pokemon Go
To get sun stones in Pokemon Go, you will need to do a number of things, but none of them are guaranteed to give you a sunstone, as the chances for the item to drop are extremely low.
That being said, we recommend visiting pokestops and gyms and spinning at them. Along with this, if you do this for a total of seven days, you will get a bonus called the seventh-day streak that has a high chance of netting you a stone stone. We also recommend finding an area filled with pokestops to make the most out of your trip and increase your chances of obtaining a sunstone.
