Bug Type Is Super Effective Against Dark Type
Dark type was originally introduced in order to balance out Pokémon typing after the huge advantage went to psychic type during the fan-favorite generation one. Suddenly, Pokémon like Alakazam or Mewtwo weren’t so invincible. Of course, dark types had their own weaknesses too and one they ended up sharing with psychic types was bug type.
While there are a couple of theories for why bug type has the advantage over dark, there’s nothing that makes it inherently obvious. Is the implication that bugs thrive in the dark or that darkness doesn’t really stop them? That’s unclear and still wouldn’t entirely explain how they work as effectively as fighting types do against the dark.

Pokémon Conquest, as good as it is, is a game that does not really describe a whole lot of its mechanics to players. This guide is here to provide Pokémon Conquest help by going over the different Kingdoms and Pokemon types to give you a heads up on what to bring into battle If Both Are = 4x If a move is super effective against both types, the Pokemon will take 4x normal damage. If One Is And The Other Is = 1x If a move is super effective against one type, but not very effective against the other, then the move. Breloom is a bit of a glass cannon, but it does have a resistance to Electric-Type attacks, which.
Ghost Types Are The Worst Enemies Of Ghost Types
Surprisingly, dragon type Pokémon aren’t the only ones that are weak to themselves. As it turns out, ghost types are very effective against other ghost types too. As for why they’re so good at fighting each other, is even more unclear and makes less sense than the previous entry.
In truth, without this aspect, ghost types like Dusclops or Banette would only be weak to dark type, but the in-universe reason for why this is a weakness for them is left a mystery. What would one ghost care if it gets haunted by another ghost?

General Weakness Of Fighting
In terms of stats, the lowest ones that Fighting-types have are Sp.Attack and Sp.Defense which is ranked from number 14 and 10. Their remaining stats like Defence and Speed are just average as well. Fighting-types are also weak to Flying and Psychic-types. They also deal with less damage to Poison and Buy-types. The Bug-type situation is a bit different because Fighting-types are resistant to it but can deal too much damage against it. They also deal with no damage to Ghost-types, or at least the Fighting-type moves dont.

Every Types Strengths And Weaknesses
The more you can remember from the table below, the better, as it will help you know which Pokémon and which moves to use against your opponents. Heres a quick guide on how to read this table:
- Type: The type of Pokémon/move
- Super Effective: The types of Pokémon the attack type will do double damage against
- Not Very Effective: The types of Pokémon the attack type will do half damage against
- Weak: The types of attacks that will do double damage to a Pokémon of this type
- Immune: Types that this Pokémon type is immune to meaning they take no damage.
Using the information above and the table,e below, you can deduce everything you need to know about how each type interacts with each other. Heres an example of how this breaks down:
- Bug attacks are super effective against Grass and Psychic-type Pokémon and will deal double damage.
- Bug attacks will do half damage to Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Steel, Fire, Dark-type Pokémon.
- Bug Pokémon are weak to Flying, Rock, Fire, and thus will take double damage from these types of attacks.
- Bug Pokémon are not immune to any damage.
Steel Types Are No Match For Fighting Types
One Pokémon type with the most number of advantages is the strong and battle-ready fighting type. Fighting types are strong against rock, ice, dark, and normal types. They also have a big advantage against steel type, though this seems like it should be more of a hurdle for them than it actually is.
With rock and ice types, it’s easy to surmise that fighting types can just easily break through them, like a karate chop to a cinder block. However, that same logic doesn’t apply to steel. Usually, when someone tries to punch through steel with their bare hands, they end up getting really hurt. For some reason, it’s not even a challenge for fighting types.
Pokemon Go: Every Type’s Weakness
Pokemon GO shares the rock-paper-scissors nature of the mainline series when it comes to combat, but it can be tricky to remember all of the elemental type advantages with so many types in play at once.
Niantic has fortunately provided a helpful article on its official Pokemon GO site to remind its players what weaknesses and resistances are out there. Since the game’s inclusion of Fairy-type Pokemon and moves, Pokemon GO is now up-to-date with its type effectiveness alongside the current titles in the franchise such as Pokemon Sword & Shield.
Super-effective damage is vital to trainers’ combat capabilities, as taking advantage of type weaknesses is a core concept in Pokemon GO.

Fairy Type Is The Bane Of Dragon Type
With plenty of resistances and only a couple of weaknesses, dragon types used to be on top of the world and nearly unstoppable. That is, until Pokémon’s sixth-generation added fairy type to its roster, bringing the mighty dragons down a peg with them as their new weakness. However, it is a little strange that fairies turned out to be the bane of dragon types.
Fairies are usually depicted as small and cute creatures, and a lot of the Pokémon under this type definitely fit that mold. And fairies don’t typically beat dragons in fantasy stories, so it seems like a stretch for Pokémon like Jigglypuff or Slurpuff to be so effective against intimidating foes like Dragonite and Salamence.
What Is Weak To What
If you’re here, you probably don’t know the type weaknesses and resistances. Also, maybe you don’t know that when a pokmon uses an attack of its type, like if an elecrtic pokmon uses an electric attack, the damage is multiplied by 1.5. Well, here are the types:
Normal is a plain type. Some people say it’s useless, but others say it’s great. I’d say Normal type pokmon are good, many of them have good status and they have only one weakness, Fighting, and are competely immune to Ghost, although they resist no other type. Normal type attacks, however, are not as good. No type is weak to them, but Ghost is immune to Normal and Rock and Steel resist it. But Normal attacks can be the solution to your problems anyway, as most pokmon can learn Normal attacks and many of them are strong. The Normal type is a physical type, so all Normal attacks are counted as physical attacks.
Fire is a “hot” type. Fire is a powerful type that should be on every team. Scizor and Forretress, both very common in teams, are only weak to Fire. Fire is super effective on Bug, Steel, Grass and Ice and is not very effective on Fire, Water, Rock and Dragon. No type is immune to Fire. Water, Rock and Ground are super effective on Fire pokmon and Fire, Grass, Bug, Ice and Steel are not very effective on them. The Fire type is a special type, so all Fire attacks are counted as special attacks.

Pokmon Go: Type Strengths And Weaknesses Explained
Each Pokémon featured in Pokémon GO falls under one of a total of 18 categories or, as the game calls them, types. All of the attacks and moves in Pokémon GO also fall under one type each. A Pokémon can have one or two types, and the type a Pokémon belongs to goes on to determine a number of things about that Pokémon, from what types of Pokémon it is strong and weak against and what kinds of moves it has to where the Pokémon can be found in the real world and how effective the Pokémon is in battle.
Each type of Pokémon and attack is strong against some types, weak against some and neutral against others. While a Pokémons type has a lot to do with where that specific Pokémon can be found in the real world and what kinds of attacks it is weak against, it is the types of each of the Pokémons two attacks that ultimately determine what types of Pokémon it is strong against and what types of Pokémon it is weak against.
Like the Pokémon anime and games, Pokémon GO features all 18 currently existing types of Pokémon and Pokémon attacks/moves. These types are Fire, Grass, Water, Ice, Rock, Ground, Flying, Psychic, Normal, Poison, Bug, Steel, Ghost, Fighting, Electric, Dark, Dragon and Fairy.
Listed and described below are the strengths and weaknesses of each of the types of Pokémon and attacks featured in Pokémon GO.

Shouldn’t Ground Actually Benefit From Water
Where there’s water, there is life. This is a fact that remains true in the Pokémon world as well as the real one. Simply put, water is very beneficial to land in many ways. With that in mind, why is it that ground-type Pokémon are so weak against water types?
It could be because water can overtake the land in natural disasters. However, it’s not as though the land itself is destroyed completely during these instances as the ground can absorb water, and undersea quakes are possible. So it seems like ground types would actually be strong or resistant against water types, rather than the other way around.

Ground Type Is Surprisingly Effective On Poison Type
Quite possibly the most random choice when it comes to Pokémon type advantages is how ground types are super effective against poison types. Pokémon like Rhyperior or Quagsire can do major damage to Pokémon like Muk or Drapion, but it seems there’s no reason in particular for how that even works.
Ground and poison don’t exactly have much to do with each other, and the closest it gets is pollution’s relation to land, but that only makes the argument that poison would be strong against ground type. Otherwise, it just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense and seems like it was made this way just to give poison another weakness alongside psychic.
