How To Catch Regieleki And Regidrago Temple Location Puzzle Solution

HOW TO GET REGISTEEL IN THE CROWN TUNDRA Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC

Regieleki and Regidragos temple is probably the most difficult to find, located at Three Points Pass. Head back to the graveyard in Giants Bed and keep going until you come to a river. Hop on your bike and follow the river into a cave Roaring Sea Caves, to be precise. Make your way through this maze of subterranean slopes and emerge at the Frigid Sea. If you head downhill at every opportunity, you should make it through without too much hassle.

Head straight out to sea and turn right, following the path between the blocks of ice. Head onto land again not onto the island and follow the path to the end. The huge temple is unmissable.

To enter, you must have all three Regis Regice, Regirock, and Registeel in your party. However, once youre inside, the puzzle gets slightly more complicated.

Its at this point that we should mention you can only catch one of Regieleki or Regidrago. Its a difficult choice, but whichever you choose affects how you answer the floor puzzle. In this temple, lighting up all the panels doesnt do anything you have to match the pattern of the Regi that you want to capture.

The patterns themselves are shown above the doors to the temple the yellow is Regieleki and the red is Regidrago. We wont tell you which you want to get because that is ultimately down to you, but enter the pattern and talk to the statue to begin your encounter.

How To Find The Regi Pokmon In The Crown Tundra

Every Regi Pokémon returns to Pokémon Sword and Shield in The Crown Tundra expansion, and there are even two new ones. The Regis all reside in temples around the tundra, and the temples all require you to perform a specific task to gain entry. Heres where you can find the ruins, how to solve their puzzles, and catch the Regi Pokémon Registeel, Regirock, Regice, and either Regidrago or Regieleki in the Crown Tundra.

Pokmon Sword And Shield Registeel

With the release of Crown Tundra DLC, you will be able to acquire Registeel by completing its temple quest.

How To Catch Regirock In The Crown Tundra

Regirock appears in the temple at the Giant’s Bed in the Crown Tundra, specifically the one in the lower right-hand corner of the main wild area in the Crown Tundra. When you approach the door, it says, “Let the first Pokémon hold a never changing stone.” Here’s what to do:

  • Have the first Pokémon in your party hold an Everstone and go through the door.
  • Walk on the light panels on the floor until each panel is lit up.
  • Talk to the statue in the back of the room.
  • Catch Regirock like any other Pokémon.

How to Get all 6 Regis in the Crown Tundra Regidrago ...

The first and the most important thing to do before a major Pokemon fight is to save the game, and then prepare your team. In Crown Tundra, Registeel is going to be at level 70 when a player encounters it for the first time. The moves he will have is Heavy Slam, Flash Cannon, Iron Defense, and Charge Beam.

As for its weaknesses, Registeel is weak against Fire type, Fighting type, and Ground type attacks. Having at least two Pokemons in your team who can use any one of the above-mentioned attack types will be very helpful. Lastly, the most followed strategy is to have a Pokemon who can use Paralyzing or Sleeping attacks. This will further help in weakening Registeel more and capture it easily.

Includes how to find Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki, Regidrago, and Regigigas

In Pokémon Sword and Shields The Crown Tundra expansion pack, youll face off against many familiar legendary creatures. Youll also come across plenty of regional variants, and some never before seen Pokémon. While having the Regi trio hidden in shrines is a bit of an old trick for the series, there are two new Regi Pokémon that are exclusive to this DLC.

Both Regieleki and Regidrago are brand new Crown Tundra Pokémon, joining Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres as some of the most desirable Pokémon to catch. Regieleki is a zippy Electric-type with the highest base Speed stat in the entire game. Yes, it even outspeeds Deoxys Speed Forme.

Regidrago on the other hand might not have a record-breaking stat, but it has a Dragon-type version of Water Spout that can hit every enemy on the opposing end of the battlefield. If its at maximum health, itll likely make enemies pop. If you want to nab both new Regis, then youll have to trade with another player, as youre limited to just one per game. Nevertheless, we have the locations of every single Regi in The Crown Tundra right here.

Regirock Temple Location And Puzzle Solution

The Regis are a trio of returning titans originally discovered in Gen 3’s Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, plus a pair of newbies in Regieleki and Regidrago. First up, here’s all the info you need on Regirock, the Rock-type.

    Regirock temple location

Regirock’s temple is described as being “far, far into the Giant’s bed”, and that’s more or less all the info you need. Head all the way to the far eastern end of the area, taking the lower route through the Old Graveyard until you reach a river on your right.

Don’t cross the river and instead hang left-ish, through a narrow pass with long grass, and the yellow-brong temple will be on the back wall just up ahead.

    Regirock temple puzzle solution

To enter Regirock’s temple, you’ll need to have the first Pokémon in your party hold a “never-changing stone”. If you haven’t figured it out, that is an Everstone. You’ll likely have at least one already, but if you don’t one can be found in Turffield.

    How to catch Regirock

To catch Regirock, you need to simple walk on all of the circular pads on the floor, so they’re all lit up. Once they are, interact with the statue and Regirock will appear for a battle!

Bring a good catcher Pokémon – one with high Attack stats, False Swipe, and at least one status effect move like Thunder Wave or Hypnosis. We use Bisharp and Gallade ourselves. The rest of your party should be bulky with good rock resistances, so you can sit there and take Regirock’s hits while you wait to catch it. It’s Level 70.

Crown Tundra Regis: How To Get Registeel Regice And Regirock

How To Get Registeel In Pokemon Sword & Shield (Crown Of Tundra DLC)

Getting the three original Regis Registeel, Regice, and Regirock, in the Crown Tundra can be a bit of a challenge. As in previous games, accessing the Legendary Giants can involves some awkward puzzles that arent immediately obvious.

Registeel, Regice, and Regirock initially debuted in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, where it was necessary for players to decypher messages written in braille in order to unlock their homes.

Thankfully, the Crown Tundra isnt quite as obtuse, but there are still some cryptic puzzles to be figured out before the player can access the three Regis, and eventually, the new Regieleki and Regidrago.

To get Regirock in The Crown Tundra, head to its temple to the Northeast of Dyna Tree Hill, in the East of Giants Bed. To solve the puzzle simply give the first Pokémon in your party an Everstone to hold.

Evertstones are not uncommon in the Crown Tundra, so this puzzle should be a lot easier for most people to solve than the requirements to get Registeel and Regice. These are special stones that, when held, prevent a Pokémon from evolving.

Once your first Pokémon is holding an Everstone, the door to Regirock will open. Walk on all the floor tiles, examine the main statue, and youll be able to battle the third of the original Regis, and unlock the path to Regieleki and Regidrago, the new Regis found in The Crown Tundra.

Let The First Pokmon Hold A Never

The next riddle mentions a never-changing stone, which players of Pokémon games may realize is the Everstone. This item is normally given to Pokémon to prevent them from evolving as they level up.

If youve played through most of the game, its likely youll already have an Everstone in your inventory. If you dont, simply head to Turffield, the town that hosts the games first gym.

Once in Turffield, head right from the Pokémon Center and then north towards the stadium. When you get to a fork, head left towards a set of mossy stones. The Everstone is on the ground, simply tap A to pick it up.

Once you have the Everstone, give it to the lead Pokémon in your party to hold. Interact with the door again, and itll open wide to give you access to Regirock.

Once inside, again simply walk across the dots in any order to light them up and activate the statue. Head into battle, and catch yourself one Regirock.

How To Catch Regidrago Or Regieleki In The Crown Tundra

How to get REGISTEEL in Crown Tundra Pokemon Sword ...

You have to choose between Regidrago and Regieleki. You can’t catch both within the same game, though you can always trade for the other one. You can catch either one in either Pokémon Sword or Shield, but the one you get depends on the pattern you light up on the ground.

Regidrago and Regieleki reside in the temple at Three-Point Pass, which is in the East of the Crown Tundra. When you approach the door, it says, “When gather the three giants, the door of destiny shall be opened.” Here’s what to do.

  • Have Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in your party.
  • Walk up to the door, which will then open.
  • Light up panels to match the pattern of the Regi you’d like to catch.
  • If you want to catch Regieleki, light the panels on the floor to match the picture below.

You can then talk to the statue and catch Regieleki like any other Pokémon.

If you want to catch Regidrago, match the light panels to the picture below.

You can now talk to the statue and catch Regidrago like any other Pokémon.

Welcome to IGN’s guide to catching all of the Regis in Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra DLC. Capturing the Regis is part of the main quest in the DLC and can be accessed anytime after Peony gives you Legendary Clue 2.

How To Find And Catch Registeel In Pokemon Sword And Shield Crown Tundra

The first shrine that you are going to come across is most likely going to be the one for Registeel. It is in the Giants Bed outside of Freezington Village and is pretty hard to miss. Before you can enter into the shrine you will be required to solve the following riddle:

Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel.

The clue does not really help that much but what you need to do is press the left stick in order to whistle. Be sure not to be on your bike otherwise you will ring the bell of your bike rather than whistling. Once you are inside you will need to wake up Registeel by stepping on the dots on the floor. Once all the dots light up you can interact with the statue at the end of the room to trigger the battle.

If you knockout Registeel and were not able to catch it then you need not worry. You can light up the dots on the floor again and start another battle and try to catch the Pokemon again. As the name gives it away, Registeel is a Steel-type Pokemon and it is weak against Fire, Fighting and Ground-type Pokémon. Some counters that we recommend for Registeel include Charizard, Machamp, Flareon and Moltres.

This is how you can find and catch Registeel in Pokemon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra DLC. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can catch legendary birds such as Articuno and Zapdos.

Once inside, youll notice seven dots on the ground. Simply walk across each to light it up, in no particular order, and youll notice the large statue across the room light up.

The Regis were introduced in Gen 3 and have had their lore expanded on in Pokémon Sword and Shield through The Crown Tundra DLC.

Two new Regis were added in Regieleki and Regidrago and gives Pokémon trainers new Legendaries to track down and catch. Like how the original three Regis–Regirock, Regice, Registeel–were found, trainers will need to have particular Pokémon in their party, among other requirements.

Here’s how to catch every Regi in The Crown Tundra DLC.

    How To Open Regirock Ruins

Head to the southeast corner of the Giants Bed to find another temple. If youre struggling to pick them out on the map, just look for the slight indent in the border.

Regirocks door is much less cryptic than Registeel’s. Let the first Pokemon hold a never-changing stone, which means you must give your leading Pokemon an Everstone.

If you dont have an Everstone on hand, you can find them littered about the Lakeside Cave to the south, near the legendary bird tree. Or you can stuff four Hard Stone in the Cram-o-Matic back on the Isle of Armor.

Repeat the pattern lighting step from Registeels temple, and get ready for battle. Regirock is also Level 70, and its pure Rock typing makes it weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel.

    How To Catch Registeel

The Registeel temple is located to the south of Freezington, in the Giants Bed Region.

Once you come here, youll notice that the temple gate is locked and does not open in a usual manner. The hint Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel refers to the use of a whistle to awaken the giant of steel.

For this, you must have a whistle on your lead Pokemon. At the gate, you must whistle while facing the gate and it will open.

Inside, you must walk across the dots lighting them up and reaching the back of the temple where you will find a Registeel statue which you can interact with in order to awaken Registeel. You can attempt to capture it during this battle.
