Can I Use Pokmon Home To Transfer My Original Gen 1 And 2 Pokmon From Pokmon Red / Blue / Yellow / Gold / Silver / Crystal On Game Boy To Pokmon Sword And Shield

TRADING LEGENDARY AND REGIONAL POKEMON IN POKEMON GO!

Unfortunately, no. The Pokémon you first caught two decades ago are forever trapped on those original Game Boy cartridges or on Pokémon Stadium. Of course, using various shady tactics and compromised hardware, enterprising Poké Trainers have been known to dump their original saves from the Game Boy carts, upload them to the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red and Blue, and then move those to Pokémon Bank, but we shall not delve into those dark arts here.

No, it seems that Stinkypoo the Pikachu, Wormy the Weedle and Metapoo the Metapod will die on our Game Boy carts along with the battery. Probably for the best, to be honest.

Pokemon Go Trading Costs

The actual cost of Pokemon Go trading is quite a complex thing. Every trade will cost you Stardust, and that price will depend on a number of factors: whether youve already caught the Pokemon yourself, your friendship level with the player youre about to trade with, and the Pokemon youre actually trading Standard vs Special trades.;

It seems like the Stardust Pokemon Go trading cost is about as follows :

Standard Trades

Ultra Friend: 80,000Best Friend: 40,000

Basically, you need to plan ahead if you want to trade Legendaries you dont already own to increase your friendship level with the trainer you want to trade with. Just look at the difference in Stardust cost between trading a Legendary bird with a Good Friend vs a Best Friend:

Can You Trade Mythical Pokmon Like Mew

No. Mythical Pokémon, most of which are limited to one per account, cannot be traded at all. Of the Mythical Pokémon to be introduced to Pokémon Go, only one was not limited to a single Pokémon per account. Darkrai was part of Legendary Raids over Halloween, but Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi were all introduced as part of Special Research. Because every player can earn a single copy of these Mythical Pokémon, Niantic does not allow them to be traded.

How Much Does It Cost To Transfer Pokmon

This is how much Transporter energy it costs to transfer a Pokémon:

Standard Pokémon

CP 2001+ +700

If a Pokémon would cost more than the maximum 10,000 energy to transfer for instance, a shiny CP 2400 mythical Pokémon it counts as using all of your energy but may still be transferred.

Energy takes time to recharge , or you can immediately charge it with PokéCoins. This costs a Coin per ten energy and your maximum energy is 10,000. So it will cost 1,000 PokéCoins to fully recharge your Transporter.

A huge thanks to Serebii for testing the energy information in the tables so quickly and accurately.

Ugh Does Friendship Level Affect Any Other Part Of A Pokmon Trade

Trading Pokémon in Pokémon Go guide: How it works and more ...

It does. Certain Pokémon can only be traded at higher friendship level.

The higher your level of friendship with someone, the less it costs to actually participate in the trade. Every trade requires spending a certain amount of stardust, which you only have so much of so its good to work on befriending folks, because youll want to save up that stardust for the real prizes.

The good news is that the most basic, standard trade only requires spending 100 stardust, which is super doable.

Defense and Special Defense are taken from your Stamina statistic in Pokémon Go, Attack and Special Attack from your original Attack stat, and HP will roughly match HP. Speed is not a statistic in Pokémon Go, therefore this is entirely randomised.

What Has Pokmon Go Said About Trading Pokmon

From Pokémon Go:

If youre near a friend and have a Trainer Level of 10 or higher, you can trade Pokémon youve caught with that friend. Completing a trade earns a bonus Candy for the Pokémon youve traded away, and that bonus can increase if the Pokémon you traded were caught in locations far apart from each other! All trades are powered by Stardust, and some trades require more Stardust than others. As you build your Friendship Level with the friend you are trading with, youll find that you can complete the trade with much less Stardust.

Certain Pokémon, such as a Legendary Pokémon, a Shiny Pokémon, or a Pokémon not currently in your Pokédex, require a Special Trade to complete, so keep that in mind before trading away that golden Magikarp! Special Trades can only occur once per day with a Great Friend or Best Friend, and it often requires a lot of Stardust to complete a Special Trade. Special Trades are a great way to show a friend how much you care!

Pokmon Go Trade Evolution List And How Trade Evolutions Work

Before we get into the specifics of trading itself, let’s start with 2020’s big new feature – trade evolutions.

In the mainline Pokémon games, there’s a set of Pokémon that can only be evolved if they’re traded with another player. When Pokémon Go was released, these Pokémon were all evolved through candy, due to the lack of trading.

Now, however, trade evolution has been incorporated into Pokémon Go, offering a different evolution method for a specific group of Pokémon. These Pokémon are:

  • Kadabra
  • Karrablast
  • Shelmet

Once you’ve traded one of the above Pokémon, the candy cost for evolving them into their third and final evolution will be reduced to zero. This will allow you to quickly add this new Pokémon to your Pokédex, while also gaining a powerful new team member.

If you don’t have any fellow trainers to trade with, however, you’ll still be able to evolve these Pokémon with the candy.

It costs 100 candy to evolve Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler and Haunter from Gen 1.

It costs 200 candy to evolve Boldore, Gurrdurr, Karrablast and Shelmet from Gen 5.

It’s also important to note that Pokémon that evolve using a combination of items and candy in Pokémon Go don’t receive the trade evolution discount. Even though, in the mainline games, a requirement of their evolution is being traded with another player.

Pokemon Go Trading Mechanics

There is a few things to keep in mind when trading Pokemon in Pokemon GO:

  • Standard trades cost 100 Stardust.;A standard trade involves Pokemon that are not shiny, not legendary and which you have already caught.
  • IVs, HP and CP change when trading, but moves, gender and size of the traded Pokemon stay the same. Be careful: Pokemon Level can also change!
  • A traded Pokemon level will be adjusted to the maximum power up level the recipient can perform. If you try to trade a higher level Pokemon to someone who cant normally power up to that level, the Pokemons level will go down. In other words, you cant boost someone by passing them a high level Pokemon they wouldnt have access to otherwise.
  • You can influence the re-rolled stats by increasing your Friendship level. According to this official blog post, the game assigns minimum stat values based on your Friendship level.
  • Trades reward additional Candy, depending on the distance between the locations where the two Pokemon were caught
  • 1 Candy => close distance
  • 3 Candy => 100 KM distance
  • Trading Pokemon affects your older medals:
  • Trading XL Magikarps counts towards the Fisherman Medal
  • Trading tiny Rattata counts towards the Youngster Medal
  • Trading any Pokemon counts towards the appropriate Type medal
  • A Pokemon can only be traded once.;You cant chain-trade in order to get perfect IVs, as explained in the official blog post.

    One of the staple features of Pokémon GO;is that of trading. Players are allowed to send their Pokémon over to a friend in real-time, usually in order to help them complete their;Pokédex;or increase the odds of receiving a Lucky Pokémon. Many players have raised the question, though, of what can be done after that.;Is it possible for one Pokémon to be traded multiple times in Pokémon GO?

    Trading is a relatively straightforward process, though it’s worth noting that it is required to be done in-person. Players who want to trade;with their;Pokémon GO;friends just have to stand close enough to another player on their Friend List;and hit the Trade button, which will then prompt each player to select a Pokémon to be exchanged. While some trades are more expensive than others – for example, in the case of Legendary or Shiny Pokémon – but for the most part the process remains the same.
