What Is Gigantamax Eevee

The Gigantamax Factor is an ability some Pokemon can have, which allows them to take on huge forms with different moves than regular Dynamax Pokemon. Gigantamax Pokemon also take on a special appearance thats different from other Pokemon of that species.;

Gigantamax Eevee becomes extremely fluffy, and its ears take on a more angular appearance. Gigantamax Eevee can also use the unique move G-Max Cuddle, a powerful Normal attack that attracts opponents.

Pokmon Sword And Shield

You are searching Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield why cant an evolution be missing from your team or simply to complete the Galar regional Pokédex? You are in the right place: in this guide we will see where to find Eevee and its respective evolutions.

Where to find Eevee

Evolution Pokémon can be encountered in both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, but it is very rare. The easiest place to look for it is Route 4 just before Turrfield, the city where the first gym of the game is located. We will have to arm ourselves with patience, because the chance for Eevee to appear in the overworld is only 5% in Pokémon Shield and very low for Swords friends, where Eevee appears only 1% sometimes.

Just wander around Route 4 until you hear his characteristic verse: it is a sign that Eevee has appeared on the map and just find it to add it to your Pokémon collection. To make things even easier you can use Hi-Tech earphones that allow you to adjust the sound, reducing all sounds other than the verses of Pokémon: Like Pikachu, Eevee has a unique verse, similar to Eva!, so it is very recognizable.

Another way to get Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to have played Pokémon Lets Go Eevee: in this case, just go to the Wilderness Station and talk to the boy next to the girl next to the access area of the tracks, who will give a sample of Eevee capable of gigamaxizing. LEevee event is in particular as it cannot evolve.

Jolteon:;Use a Thunder Stone on Eevee.;

Flareon: Use a Fire Stone on Eevee.;

Vaporeon: Use a Water Stone on Eevee.;

Leafeon: Use a Leaf Stone on Eeevee.;

Glaceon: Use an Ice Stone on Eevee.;

Espeon: Raise Eevees friendship level by walking and battling with Eevee, then level it up during the day.;

Umbreon: Raise Eevees friendship level by walking and battling with Eevee, then level it up at night.;

Sylveon: Raise Eevees friendship level by walking and battling with Eevee, then level it up while it knows any Fairy-type move.;

Here are a few extra tips. Look for stones on the narrow strip of land across from the Lake of Outrage, which can be found by taking a right when entering the Wild Area from Hammerlocke. This area can only be accessed when trainers have a bike that can travel on water. A tall ring of stones will be on the land, each with a different element stone next to it.;

Trainers can have their Eevee hold the Soothe Bell to quickly increase the Pokemons friendliness. This item can be found in Hammerlocke. The blonde woman who gives trainers the item is in a house on the right of the entrance to the city. Another person living with her in the home can tell trainers what level of friendship their Pokemon is currently at.;

How To Get A Jolteon

Jolteon is the Electric-typeevolution of Eevee. It can both be caught in the wild or in a raid between levels 56 to 63 or evolved from an Eevee by using a Thunderstone.

How To Catch Eevee

You can catch an Eevee on Route 4 in Pokemon Sword and Shield. It’s very rare, but sometimes you’ll see it in the overworld! Be aware, the Gigantamax gift Eevee you get for having Let’s Go Eevee saved data will not evolve!

If you want a Hidden Ability Eevee, you will have to catch one during a rare Max Raid Battle. Look for a purple beam with clouds around it at a den in Bridge Field of the Wild Area.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon

Sylveon is a Fairy-type Eevee evolution, first introduced in Pokemon X and Y.

Increase Eevee’s Friendship to three-hearts and level it up when it knows a Fairy-type move to evolve it into Sylveon. If you take it to the friendship checker in Hammerlocke, he will say “You two get along great! Together is always better–am I right?”

How To Catch Eevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield

So you can acquire an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield in more than one way. The first, which we’ve already briefly mentioned, is to actually own Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and have a save file of it on your Switch. If you do, you’ll be able to pick up the Gigantamax Eevee from one of two trainers in the Wild Area train station by the Meetup Spot.;

However, if you’re just looking out for your average Eevee, we’ve got some good news. Sure, it’s not going to be as adorably fluffy as the Gigantamax version that you can get, but they’re actually not super difficult to find in the wild. Our recommendation would be to head straight for Route 4 after arriving from Wedgehurst and to just start running around until you spot them scampering around.

Take your time to head back and forth between the areas til an Eevee makes its presence known, then proceed how you normally would when it comes to catching any other Pokemon. Eevee can evolve into all of its Eeveelutions in this game so long as you’ve got the right evolution stone or meet the right conditions. For example, we’ve got a guide on how to turn your Eevee into a Sylveon if you’re interested, and you can check that out here.;

Where To Find Eevee

Players can get a hold of their own Eevee fairly early in the main game of Sword and Shield. Eevee appears as an overworld encounter, meaning it can be seen running around in the golden grass on Route 4 right before Turffield. Eevee is a bit rare to encounter, but if players keep running around the various three patches of grass, they will encounter one eventually.

Obviously, the next step is to catch an Eevee, which is not a very difficult task, even for;players that skipped the catching tutorial. Considering this is before the first gym and the Eevees in question are only around level 15, any Pokeball should do just find.

When Is Sylveon Coming To Pokmon Go

Friendship needs to be a little bit higher.

Its been a long time coming, but Sylveon now has a clear release date in Pokémon Go. It will be arriving in the Luminous Legends Y event, which kicks off May 18. However, Sylveon wont be making its appearance the second part, on May 25. The first part of the Luminous Legends Y event will have players hunting down several Dark-type Pokémon as Yveltal makes its debut to the mobile game.

Its been revealed that how players evolve Eevee into Sylveon will earn hearts when Eevee is your buddy. This tracks pretty closely with the standard game as an Eevee had enough friendship points to evolve into Sylveon. Although, other Eevee evolutions also require this step, which means there will be a bit more well have to do when Sylveon does release. Well be learning more about it on May 25.

Sylveon is the Fairy-type evolution for Eevee. This is the final Eevee evolution that many players have been waiting for. Following the Luminous Legends Y event, youll still be able to evolve any Eevee you capture into a Sylveon, so long as you follow the exact steps. Alternatively, Sylveon will have an evolution name trick, which means if you give an Eevee this name, it will evolve into a Sylveon, but you can only do it once.

How To Get Gigantamax Eevee

Gigantamax form is a new mechanic that was introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield alongside Dynamax. Dynamax allows you to increase your Pokemon in size in certain battles that make them even stronger. While Dynamax just makes them larger, certain Pokemon also have a special Gigantamax form that looks very different from their usual. One of those introduced in the game was Gigantamax Eevee, which you can see above.

When Pokemon Sword and Shield first launched, you could definitely acquire an Eevee in the game, but these ones you would catch normally would not have the ability to Gigantamax. Instead, the only way to get a Gigantamax Eevee then was to have a save file from Pokemon Lets Go! Eevee on your Nintendo Switch.

Thankfully, that has now changed with yet another special event in Pokemon Sword and Shield that will allow you to get Gigantamax Eevee. This is similar to Gigantamax Pikachu last week, where it is only available for a limited time, so make sure you get it this week.

To get Gigantamax Eevee, head to the Wild Area and make sure you connect the internet or at least download the latest Wild News to get the latest update for Max Raids. Now just head around and look for any of the pink beams of light and interact with them to see if any of them are for Gigantamax Eevee, which you can tell by the silhouette in the below image.

Bonus Tip: Conserve Your Battery

You probably know by now that battery drain is a concern for hardcore Pokémon Go players. Contrary to widespread belief, downloading an offline copy of your Google Map data doesnt actually help conserve your battery while youre playing. This is because the app needs to be running at all times while the game is in effect.

But there are several battery tips that are more effective. One quick and easy fix is found in your game settings. Click your game settings and toggle the battery saver to on. Voila.

Another trick is to dim your phones brightness something you should consider doing in general anyway if you have issues with battery drain. If youre playing at night, you can also, on Android, download a screen filter app that lets you dim your phone even more than the default factory setting allows.

Or on iPhone, sneakily adjust the settings lower than the default interface allows.

Happy playing!
