Bellossom is a possible evolution of the Gen 1 Pokémon Gloom, which is an evolution of Oddish. If you evolve a Gloom without a Sun Stone you get the Gen 1 Pokémon Vileplume, but if you have a Sun Stone when you evolve the Gloom, you get a Bellossom.
Bellossom is a grass-type Pokémon. According to its Pokédex entry, it doesn’t offer particularly strong stats in the main games, though it’s possible it could get some sort of boost in Pokémon Go. Even if it’s not the best fighter, you’ll still need one to complete your collection.
Sunflora is a Gen 2 Pokémon that evolves from another Gen 2 Pokémon, Sunkern. In this case, there’s no alternate evolution for Sunflora if you don’t own a Sun Stone. According to its Pokédex entry, Sunflora can convert sunlight into energy and is only capable of moving around during the day. It’s a grass-type with decent stats and a particularly strong Special Attack, though these main game stats may not carry over to Pokémon Go.
Remember, it appears as though evolution items are given out on the seventh day of a seven-day PokéStop streak. You may not get a Sun Stone the first time you try this, but keep at it and eventually you should find the item you need.

There are four species of Pokemon that evolve using a Sun Stone in Pokemon GO at the time of writing:

Bellossom is only one of the forms available for Gloom in the Pokemon franchise with the other being Vileplume. While both require 100 candies, only Bellossom needs a Sun Stone. With a PokeDex number of #182, Bellossom is a member of Generation II and was discovered in the Johto region. When its petals are exposed to enough light, it “dances” by spinning the ring of leaves around its body.
Sunflora is also a member of Generation II with a PokeDex number of #192. Like any grass-type, it is able to turn sunlight into nutrients and actively moves about to make sure it’s always in peak sunlight until the sun eventually sets. At night, it stays putâ âa clear reference to the behavior of a real-world sunflower. Trainers will need 50 candies to evolve it.
Whimsicott hails from the Unova region and is best known for its lack of concrete habitat. Instead of living in one place, this Pokemon will ride the winds and float about the region with each landing location becoming the next target for its mischief. It has a PokeDex number of #547 requires 50 candies to evolve.

In order to evolve your Sunkern intoSunflora, you will need to havea Sun Stone with you in your bags.You will also need to have all 50 candy, in the same way as with a normal evolution.

There are two Pokemon that can evolve with the Sun Stone in Pokemon GO. They are Sunkern and Gloom. The easiest Pokemon to evolve with the Sun Stone is Sunkern, as it only requires 50 candies along with the Sun Stone to evolve it into Sunflora. So you have to focus on obtaining that particular Pokemon first. Gloom is a bit more difficult to evolve into Bellossom for a couple of reasons.
