Rainer, Sparky, Pyro, Sakura and Tamao are actually the names of the ‘Eevee brothers’ that appear in the Pokemon anime. The first three Eevee evolutions and their owners – all siblings – show up in episode 40 of the show, meeting Ash and Pikachu. These Eeveelution methods are the same as previous games but evolving Eevee into Glaceon and Leafeon is now easier – and Sylveon can evolve with Friendship just like Espeon and Umbreon. And of course, you can always just catch these Eeveelutions – avoiding the work of evolving them all together. Here’s how to evolve Eevee into all its evolutions plus where to find and catch Eevee and its evolutions.

How To Get All Eevee Evolutions In Pokemon Go

Each Eevee evolution requires that the player has at least 25 candies for Eevee. Candies can be found by capturing Eevee’s in the wild or by walking with Eevee as their partner. After a few kilometers, Eevee will pick up one candy. Let’s begin with the first three Eevee Evolutions in Pokemon Go, Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. To get the specific one of these, players can nickname their Eevee a certain name in order to get it. Here is the list of names for the appropriate evolution. It’s important to mention, this method can only be used once, after that, different methods are required for certain evolutions.

• Leafeon: Linnea
• Glaceon: Rea

Once again, this method only works on one of these Pokemon, here are how to get the other 6. As for Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon, after the nickname method, there’s no official way to get these Pokemon assigned. When evolving an Eevee, it will now be completely random. Eevee is undoubtedly the most diverse Pokemon in the game as it can be evolved in 8 different forms, depending on its surroundings. Though, there is a popular Pokemon Go Eevee hack that you can use to evolve Eevee in 7 different ways. This Eevee hack works for all types except Sylveon. This is because Sylveon is from Generation 6 and all the other Pokemons are from the fourth Generation, for which the trick works so far.

Firstly, you need to make sure that you have fed Eevee at least 25 candies. Once that is done, you can just launch its card on Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee and rename it to evolve it to the following monsters.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Glaceon

Glaceon is an Ice-type Eevee evolution first introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

What Do You Need About The Names Of The Eevee Evolutions In Pokmon Go

And why the names Sakura, Tamao, Sparky, Rainer and Pyro? The last three are the names of the Eevee brothers in the Pokémon TV series, who meet Ash in Episode 40 to show him their respective Eevee evolutions. Sakura and Tamao appear later in the series.

When you change the name of your Eevee to one of the above, you should exit and reload the application to check again that the change has been made successfully, which is important considering that servers can sometimes crash.

When you have verified the name, evolve Eeevee just as you would any other Pokémon by giving it Candy, and it should transform into the one you have chosen.

Trainers need to make Eevee their buddy and earn 70 hearts with it. Again, this will take a while, but as long as trainers can maximize the amount of hearts earned each day they will eventually get to that mark. Trainers will know they received the right amount of hearts when the silhouette in the evolution area of Eevees in-game information screen shows Sylveon.

How To Evolve Other Eevees

Just because your starter cant evolve, doesnt mean that other Eevee that you obtain cant. As long as you possess a Thunder Stone, Water Stone, or Fire Stone, you can use them to get a Jolteon, Vaporeon, or Flareon respectively.

All three of these stones can be found in the Celadon City super shop.

To catch your own that you can actually evolve, go to route 17, thats your best chance to find one in the wild. Keep in mind, even though they do indeed exist, they are quite rare, so dont expect to run into one right away.

Can You Still Get Raichu Flareon Jolteon And Vaporeon

Fear not, it’s easy to get any of the evolved Pokémon anyway. Not only can you get them from trading, but you can also catch both Pikachu and Eevee in the wild, and these wild forms of the Pokémon can be evolved just as you normally would.

You’ll just have to get hold of the appropriate evolution stone – either in the wild, or from the department store in Celadon City – and use it on the regular Eevee or Pikachu to force it to evolve just as you’d expect it to.

How To Evolve Multiple Umbreons And Espeons

A second method of evolving Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon exists, and it’s surprisingly easy. Simply make Eevee your buddy Pokémon and walk 10km. You can then evolve your Eevee at night to unlock Umbreon, or during the day for Espeon. You can easily tell if it’s day or night by looking at the colour of your map or listening to the game’s music, but ensure that you have good signal before evolving – the game needs to know the time of day in your exact location and if your signal drops at the wrong moment, you’ll get a Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon no matter how far you’ve walked.

Which Lure Module Do I Need To Ensure Evolve Eevee Glaceon Pokmon Go

Glacial is a new type of Pokémon Lure Module in Pokémon GO that is placed in Poke Stops just like other Lure Modules. This Lure module can draw in the ice and water types.

If you want to evolve Eevee into Glaceon then you can obtain the Glacial Lure Module from the in-game store of Pokémon GO. The Lure will cost you 200 coins and can work effectively for the duration of 30 minutes after activation. However, in near future, this new Lure module might also be awarded for completion of specific research tasks

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon

While other Eeveelutions require walking a certain distance and evolving at a specific time of the day, Sylveon is all about friendship.

To get repeat Syvleons beyond the single-use naming method, you’ll have to get one as your buddy, and then accumulate 75 hearts with it. After that, the option should appear to evolve an additional Sylveon.

To get Sylveon as your buddy, you can take photos with it, play with it, feed it, spin new PokéStops all the usual shenanigans to earn hearts with a buddy, basically. You can earn a maximum of 20 hearts per day, so, in theory, you can evolve an Eevee into Sylveon in four days.

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can find Eevee on Route 4. After you exit Galar Mine, youll come across some rolling fields that lead to Turffield. Eevee will appear randomly in the tall grass in this area.

Alternatively, head to the Wild Area and take part in some Max Raid Battles to get your hands on an Eevee. Jumping into battles in Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Motostoke Riverbank, or Rolling Fields could land you an Eevee. Defeat the powerful Dynamax Eevee using Fighting-type Pokémon and then throw your best ball to capture it. We find Dusk Balls or Ultra Balls work best on Dynamax Pokémon.

Special Pikachu And Eevee Gigantamax Ability In Pokmon Sword And Shield Explained

The Pikachu or Eevee you receive isn’t just special because you get it for having a Let’s Go file on your Nintendo Switch.

No, the Pikachu or Eevee you receive also has the ability to Gigantamax in battle. The downside, however, is that you can’t evolve either of these special Pokémon.

Gigantamax is a special ability that only some Pokémon have. When it occurs the Pokémon will grow in size and their power will increase.

In this new form, the Gigantamax Pokémon will have access to a special G-Max Move, which is exclusive to that specific Pokémon.

Due to their inability to evolve, the special Pikachu or Eevee you recieve is basically a collector’s item. You can have some fun experimenting with the Gigantamax form, but neither one will have any long term usefulness on your team.

You may find Pikachu useful in the second, water-type based gym, but, other than that, if you want either Pokémon to be a permanent feature on your team, you’re better off looking for one you can evolve.
