How To Get Arceus In Pokemon Bdsp
Players can catch Arceus in Pokemon BDSP after completing the National Dex and becoming champion with a Pokemon Legends: Arceus save file on their profile that has advanced to a certain point in the game. If these conditions are met, an Azure Flute can be found in the players bedroom.
While carrying the Azure Flute, Arceus can be found at the Spear Pillar atop Mount Coronet. Players can approach it and battle it in the same way they would for any other legendary Pokemon in the game.
The official Pokemon website states the file needs to have all the main missions completed. While it isnt spelled out clearly, this means that players need to have caught Arceus in Pokemon Legends: Arceus in order to have the Azure Flute appear in BDSP.
Either way, for non-Japanese Pokemon players, this will be their first chance to catch an Arceus since 2020. Its also likely that this will be an opportunity to catch a legitimate shiny Arceus, as other legendary and mythical encounters in Pokemon BDSP enjoyed regular shiny odds.
Also worth noting is that this likely means that meeting specific conditions within save data to obtain promotional Pokemon is likely to be the norm moving forward. Previously, any save data could be used to obtain Pokemon. This likely means that beating the game to receive later rewards moving forward will be the norm.

Diamond Pearl And Platinum
If the player has the Member Card, they can gain access to Fullmoon Island and Newmoon Island. To do so, the player has to defeat the Elite Four and Champion first. Then, the player has to visit Sailor Eldritch‘s house in Canalave City. The Sailor’s son should be in a deep nightmare. The Sailor asks the player if they could go to Fullmoon Island to get the Lunar Wing, as when he did that himself, Cresselia didn’t appear.
When the Player agrees, they reach Fullmoon Island. The player encounters Cresselia initially. Cresselia escapes and leaves behind Lunar Wing. After this, Cresselia can be encountered in the wild in Sinnoh. Upon contact with the Lunar Wing, Sailor’s son will wake up and tell the player that there was a Dark Pokémon in his nightmares.
This allows the player to access the Harbor Inn in Canalave City. Inside, it will be a man who says that he was awaiting the player’s arrival. The Player then reclines on a bed and reaches Newmoon Island. There, the player can battle Darkrai and catch it. After Darkrai is caught, the player will wake up in Harbor Inn with no one there. When the player will come out, Sailor Eldritch will tell them that they were asleep for a long time. If the player couldn’t catch Darkrai, entering the Harbor Inn again will lead to repetition of the same series of events and the player can battle Darkrai numerous times until it is caught.
How To Get Cresselia

Speak to Sailor Eldritch in Canalave City to gain access to Fullmoon Island

Once players have become Pokemon Champion and received the National Dex, they’ll be able to catch Legendary Pokemon that weren’t available during BDSP‘s main story. This includes the Psychic-type legendary Cresselia.
Along with Cresselia, Darkrai makes up the Lunar Duo in Pokemon. It should be no surprise that in order to get Darkrai, players will need to meet Cresselia too. Adding to this, Cresselia is a roaming Pokemon, meaning she’ll fly off once players interact with her for the first time.

Getting Darkrai In Brilliant Diamond/shining Pearl
Directly behind the Pokemon Center in Canalave City is a house called the Harbor Inn. It’s impossible to get inside without the Member Card key item.
Remember: In order to get the Member Card, Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl needs to be updated to the 1.3.0 version. Then, players have from April 1 to April 30, 2022, to get the Member Card via Mystery Gift. Like most Mystery Gifts, the Member Card is a timed event. Failing to get it by April 30, 2022, will prevent players from getting Darkrai in their copy of BDSP. Mystery Gifts can be obtained after players have received the Oreburgh City gym badge.
With the Member Card, go to the Harbor Inn and speak to the innkeeper. The player’s character will then fall asleep and wake up on Newmoon Island. Enter the forest to find Darkrai. As always with Legendary Pokemon, save before trying to catch Darkrai. If it is defeated in battle, players won’t be able to meet Darkrai again.
The Darkrai on Newmoon Island will be level 50. Darkrai’s Dark-typing makes it weak to Fighting, Fairy, and Bug-type Pokemon. It’s advised to inflict a status ailment like Paralysis before throwing a Poke Ball. Get its health down to the orange or red. Players should stock up on Ultra Balls and Timer Balls before going to the Harbor Inn.
