As of December 2020, the fairy type evolution of Eevee hasnt arrived in Pokemon Go. This Pokemon should be available in the game soon though, because the 6th generation of Pokemon have already started to roll out.

For those who are yet to evolve their Eevee into the other available forms, heres a small little trick that can be used to ensure that the Eevee evolves into the form they want. All that the trainers need to do is set the nickname of the Pokemon corresponding to the form they want.

Using these nicknames will guarantee the evolution into the mentioned forms, provided that the trainers have the necessary amount of 25 candies for the evolution.

Between August 13-16, 2021, the heart requirement to evolve the character will be drastically reduced. As for the Eevees, they will only be more frequent during certain hours on August 14, 2021 and August 15, 2021.
Normally, the evolution method is to evolve Eevee into Sylveon into Pokemon GO requires you to earn hearts through Buddy interactions. You make an Eevee your buddy and do things like feed it, take a picture with it, fight it and visit new places together to win hearts. If you have a total of 70, you can evolve it. Between August 13-16, 2021 you only need a total of seven hearts.
But if you havent gotten one yet, theres another even simpler evolution method you can use to evolve Eevee into Sylveon into Pokemon GO. All Eeveelutions have a name trick in the game. If you give the character that name and then choose to evolve it, it will essentially be forced to evolve into that character rather than a mysterious character. If you name an Eevee Kira, the status screen will show Sylveons silhouette and you can evolve it into that character. This trick works once.

Is Sylveon In Pokmon Go 2021
Unfortunately, Sylveon is still not a part of Pokémon GO in 2021. As disappointing as it may sound, but Niantic hasnt involved Sylveon in Pokémon GO yet. Even Niantic knows that Sylveon is a highly anticipated Pokémon in the game. This is probably the major reason why the gaming-giant is taking its time before introducing Sylveon in the game.
In fact, many Pokémon GO trainers believe that Niantic will neither release Sylveon with Generation six Kalso region, even if its a major part of the region. This is due to the fact that Niantic would want to do a special event for the release of Sylveon, considering its high popularity among players.
As per our opinion, we believe that Niantic wont release Sylveon as the Eevee Eeveelution till April 2021. However, the good news is that Niantic has already made Shiny available to all the players. What Do You Name Eevee To Get Sylveon In Pokmon Go
If you want to evolve Eevee in Pokémon Go quickly, the so-called name trick will do the job for you easily. The name trick in the game will guarantee a certain evolution for your Eevee, but only if you havent used it before namely, this interesting cheat works only once per account. The good thing is that you can use each name once, not just one of them, but you cannot use the trick more than once.
What you need to do is change the name of your Eevee to one of the following names and simply evolve it:
- Vaporeon: Rainer
- Glaceon: Rea
- Sylveon: Kira
As you can see, each eeveelution has its specific name, most of which are based either on the anime or the core video games. The names, of course, have a symbolic meaning and could be deduced even if you didnt know them beforehand. Sylveons name Kira is a reference to the Sun and Moon video games, where a character named Kira appears.
Kira is actually the granddaughter of the original Sylveon user, the old Sakura, who was a pure woman whom Fairy-type Pokémon cherished like a queen. She was a descendant of the Seafolk people, but, unbeknownst to Kagetora, she passed away a year ago.
In-game, the player can locate Kira, who takes care of the original Sylveon now, in the Seafolk Village, in the Steelix ship in the east. According to Kira, Sakura also tried to teach her about battling before she passed away. The player can fight Kira, though, in the game, and defeat her Sylveon.

Item Build For Sylveon In Pokmon Unite
Sylveon is somewhat similar to other ranged special attackers, like Ninetales or Cramorant. When you acquire its Unite License, it will come pre-equipped with at least two held items, depending on which ones you currently own and what level theyre currently at . If you have a build for this style of fighter that you already like, itll probably be easiest to outfit Sylveon with that.
If youre not quite sure, try to equip items that emphasize the eeveelutions strengths and make up for its weaknesses. Items like the Eject Button or Float Stone can help with Sylveons less than stellar mobility. To help with its lackluster endurance, you can try out the Focus Band or Assault Vest.

How To Get Leafeon And Glaceon In Pokemon Go
Leafeon and Glaceon are obtained using two in-game items. Evolving your Eevee at a Pokestop that has the Mossy Lure applied to it will give trainers a Leafeon. Evolving at a PokeStop where theres a Glacial Lure will give trainers access to Glaceon. These items can be purchased from the in-game store for 200 coins each, and they work like normal lures, except they attract Pokemon of specific types.
How To Evolve Into Espeon And Umbreon
The first time you want to get your hands on Espeon and Umbreon, you can use the name trick detailed above. Evolve an Eeevee called Tamao to get an Umbreon, or an Eevee named Sakura to evolve it into Espeon. After that, you’ll need to evolve them the old-fashioned way, by completing certain goals.
For Espeon and Umbreon, you can also evolve into them based on their in-game method of evolution in Pokemon Gold and Silver back on the Game Boy – based on the time of day. In order to do this, you’ll first need to build a relationship with your Eevee. Set them as your buddy Pokemon and walk with them as much as you can.
Once you’ve walked 10km with that Eevee as your buddy Pokemon, it’s ready to evolve into either Epseon or Umbreon. Just evolve in the day for Espeon and night for Umbreon – and this isn’t limited, you can do it as often as you like!

How To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go
Originally, Sylveon wasnt available in Pokemon GO and many players wondered when this adorable Eevee evolution would be added. Its taken some time, but with the recently announced Luminous Legends Y event, Sylveon is finally being added to the game!
Sylveon will debut in Pokemon GO during Part 2 of the Luminous Legends Y event which is set to begin on Tuesday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Once the event is live, players will be able to evolve Sylveon from Eevee by making Eevee their Buddy Pokemon and earning hearts.
For those who dont have an Eevee they can evolve, Eevee will also appear more frequently in the wild during Part 2 of the Luminous Legends Y event.

Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon
Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.
Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.
Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .
Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

Sylveon Has Joined The Battle In The Switch And Mobile Moba Pokmon Unite
Another pocket monster has joined the free-to-play mobile and Nintendo Switch game, Pokémon Unite. This time around its the Eevee evolution, Sylveon.
Sylveon will start off as an Eevee and evolves into Sylveon at Lvl. 4. Heres the full rundown about this new fighter, courtesy of the official game website including its Unite move:
Get ready to scorch the competition in Pokémon UNITE, as Sylveon is now available to join your team. This Pokémon is a Ranged Attacker, and its ready to stare opponents into submission. Sylveon begins each match as Eevee, and it will evolve into Sylveon at Lv. 4.
Eevees basic attack becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing increased damage when it hits. When Eevee evolves into Sylveon, its boosted basic attacks will also increase its movement speed for a short time when they hit. Eevee starts out with the Ability Adaptability, which increases Eevees Sp. Atk for a short period whenever it deals or receives damage. When Eevee evolves into Sylveon, Adaptability becomes Pixilate, which increases Sylveons Sp. Atk and Sp. Def for a short time whenever it deals or receives damage.
