Where To Catch Feebas And Milotic In Pokmon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl

EVOLVING FEEBAS INTO MILOTIC IN POKEMON GO! MILOTIC VS GYARADOS!

Among all the Pokémon available on Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, remakes of the acclaimed 2006 Nintendo DS exclusives Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, Feebas is one that just as it did on the original titles, continues to elude those looking forward to adding its evolution, Milotic, to their squad. But do not fare, we will now tell you where to catch Feebas and how to evolve them into Milotic on both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.

Getting Milotic In Pokemon Go

In Generation III and IV, getting a Milotic is a hassle. You need to raise a Feebas Beauty and evolve it once it levels up with the right amount of Beauty. Raising Beauty can be a real chore for some people but in Pokemon GO, you dont have to worry about that. Thats why we have this guide on how to evolve Milotic, Dustox, and Beautifly in Pokemon GO.

Step 1

Simply choose the Feebas you want to evolve as your Buddy. The steps are very easy because you just need to go to the Buddy option and switch it to Feebas.

Step 2

Make sure you have at least 100 Feebas Candies in your inventory. Thats all youre going to need during the evolution process anyway.

Step 3

This is the part where it can prove to be a challenge or not. You just need to walk 20KM that will allow you to evolve your Feebas. Dont worry because you dont need to do it in one session. You can walk 1KM, 5KM tomorrow, and different distances for the next days until it is ready to evolve.

Heres a little tip, if you want to evolve a Feebas into a Milotic for a more serious purpose, then check the Feebas stats. You can only set one Buddy at a time and you dont want to waste walking 20KM on a Feebas that will evolve into a Milotic with sub-par stats. Then again, if you dont care that much, then just evolve any Feebas you want.

Where To Find A Prism Scale

After catching Feebas, trainers won’t have to go very far to find a Prism Scale. In the northern part of the Route 2 lake, above the island, there is an occasional sparkle coming from the water. Trainers simply have to bike over to the sparkle then click A to inspect and receive their Prism Scale. Alternatively, trainers can acquire a Prism Scale from South Lake Miloch in the Wild Area through the same method of inspecting sparkles in the water. Be aware that there are other items hidden in the Wild Area, so finding a Prism Scale there might take more time.

Once Feebas is holding a Prism Scale, trainers only need to trade it twice: once to evolve into Milotic and again to trade it back to their game.

Is It Possible To Evolve A Feebas Into A Milotic

Its unlikely youve run into one on your afternoon stroll through a route, and while you may have battled its evolution, very few if any people are tossing out a Feebas in competitive matches. However, Feebas evolves into Milotic, which is a beautiful and popular water-type Pokémon that many people use.

Is Feebas Better Than Magikarp

Feebas Evolution

This answer is largely based more on whether Milotic is better than Gyarados. Neither Feebas or Magikarp are worth discussing in terms of battle capability. Both Gyarados and Milotic are often near the middle of competitive tier lists. They have even been on world championship teams in the past. The answer will depend on whether you need a bulkier Pokemon in Milotic or a more offensive Pokemon with Gyarados.

However, thats not even the only issue with Feebas. Once players catch it, they face another challenging task of trying to evolve it into Milotic, which doesnt happen by level-up or with stone. Instead, Feebas has two evolution methods, both of which take an annoyingly long time. Below, players can see those two methods of evolving Feebas.

How To Evolve Milotic Dustox And Beautifly In Pokemon Go

Generation III brought about a lot of interesting Pokemon in the mix. Among those are a couple of tricky ones to get via evolution. A lot of people know the dreaded Feebas, which takes a lot of time and effort to evolve in Milotic, which is a sought-out Pokemon. Then, theres the random nature of Wurmple evolving into either Dustox or Beautifly. Dont worry because this is a quick guide on how to evolve Milotic, Dustox, and Beautifly in Pokemon GO.

How Do You Evolve Wurmple Into Dustox And Beautifly

Wurmple is like the Caterpie of Gen 3. It’s a little bug that only requires 12 candy to evolve into its second stage. Unlike Caterpie, Wurmple has a split second-stage evolution: It can evolve into either Cascoon or Silcoon.

Split evolutions are something we’ve seen since Gen 1, also with Eevee. Evolve an Eevee and you could get Flareon, Jolteon, or Vaporeon. Picture that, but with only two second-stage possibilities and with each of those possibilities having a third stage evolution.

Important: Unlike Eevee in Gen 1, there’s no trainer name trick you can use to guarantee control of at least one of each evolution. Unlike Eevee in Gen 2, there’s also no Friendship mechanic and day vs. night trick to guarantee control over all evolutions. With Wurmple, second stage evolutions seem to be totally and completely random.

  • Choose the Wurmple you want to evolve.
  • Tap Evolve.
  • Repeat as often as is necessary to get both Cascoon and Silcoon.
  • Evolve Cascoon into Dustox and Silcoon into Beautifly whenever you have the candy and the opportunity.

Before players can evolve Feebas, they must obtain one either by catching it from the wild or through trade. The Water-type appears on Route 2, one of the earliest routes in the game. But players wont be able to obtain Feebas unless they have the upgraded Rotom Bike after they defeat the sixth gym leader.

Once players have received the upgraded Rotom Bike, they can then bike out to the middle island thats located in the center of the pond near the Professor Magnolias house. From there, theyll see two fishing pools. Theyll need to fish to find Feebas, although the Pokémon is a rare encounter on the route and may take several tries.

There’s An Easier Way To Evolve Feebas For Pokmon Go’s ‘thousand Year Slumber’ Jirachi Quest

    Pokémon GO

If you boot up Pokémon GO right now, you’ll get some special research. A Thousand Year Slumber is a new quest for you to complete, and at the end of the line you’ll be able to get your hands on Jirachi, the mythical creature that had previously. A lot of the quest is pretty straightforward, but there’s one task in step 2 that might cause people some trouble. Luckily, it’s about to get a lot easier to evolve a Feebas.

Feebas is likely to be a sticking point for most people. The ragged-looking little fish is very rare outside of events, and plenty of people that missed those events might be awfully short on the 100 candy required to evolve it. If you’re trying to manage that with the little fish as your buddy, that’s going to take you a minimum of 500 kilometers, minus whatever you got from catching it to begin with. That’s a whole lot to ask out of anyone, and would likely mean you’d be working on this thing for months if you’re not using rare candy or other bonuses.

So if you were busily making a spreadsheet about just how you were going to cover the several hundred kilometers required to evolve Feebas, just wait until tomorrow, August 23, and you should have a much simpler time of it.

There’s no way to get around the 20km you have to walk with your fishy friend, but that’s much more manageable than 500.

How To Evolve Feebas: Pokmon Platinum

We conclude this guide by mentioning Pokémon Platinum , the latest game in addition to Pokémon Emerald and Omega Ruby where Feebas can evolve into Milotic using a mechanics very similar to Pokémels to increase its Beauty: the Poffin .

And just unlike the Hoenn region games, the whole process can be completed within a single city: Hearthome City .

After arriving in the city, head to one of the two Concordia Park entrances with one of the following Pokémon in your team: Turtwig , Grotle , Torterra , Chimchar , Monferno , Infernape , Piplup , Prinplup , Empoleon , Pikachu , Clefairy , Jigglypuff , Psyduck , Torchic , Shroomish , Skitty , Pachirisu , Drifloon , Buneary and Happiny. Once inside, start walking with your little monster, covering a distance of 200 steps . Then, turn around to the Pokémon and press A . This way, you will get a random item between an accessory or a berry.

With a little luck, and a lot of patience, you will get the following berries: Baccastagna , Baccarancia , Baccakiwi , Baccapalma , Bacciaciofo and Baccaracolo , essential to create Dry Poffin able to increase the beauty of Feebas.

Once this is done, go to the Hearthome City Pokémon Fan Club , talk to the president . If you have not yet obtained it, you will receive a Portapoffin as a key item, necessary for the creation of these treats.

Pokmon Bdsp: How To Get Feebas & Milotic

Feebas and Milotic are incredibly rare in Pokémon BDSP. In order to get them, players will need to find a specific lake deep within Mount Coronet.

Feebas and Milotic are some of the rarest Pokémon to find and capture in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. These two Pokémon made their debut in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire on the Nintendo Game Boy Advanced. In those entries, the only way to obtain a Feebas was to fish in a specific area on a specific route. If players were even more than a single tile off from where they needed to be, this method wouldn’t work. This made Feebas incredibly rare to come across. Then, evolving Feebas to Milotic is an entirely different task. Both Pokémon make a return in the Diamond and Pearl remakes, and adding them to a player’s collection can still be a challenge.

To find Feebas in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players will first need to get the Super Rod Key Item. This item allows players to fish for Pokémon. Players will need to wait until they have defeated the Elite Four and have become Champion. Then, they can head to the Fight Area and find a Fisherman who will give the player the Super Rod. This item is essential for getting Feebas.

Pokemon Go: How to evolve Milotic, Dustox, Beautifly

The first method of evolving Feebas is the simplest. This doesnt mean its easy, however, as youll need to go digging in the Grand Underground. To evolve Feebas, it needs to be holding a Prism Scale. This item is only found in the underground through digging at gleaming locations on the walls.

The Prism Scale is a rare encounter by digging, so it could take you hours to find it. If you dont want to go this route, which relies solely on luck, you can go the longer but more sure-fire way of evolving Feebas. This is done by maxing out its beauty stat.

To see a Pokémons beauty stat, you can go to their summary and keep scrolling through the tabs until you see a shape with the stats like beauty, coolness, etc. To evolve Feebas into Milotic, the beauty stat needs to be maxed out.

In order to max out that stat, you need to feed the Feebas dry poffins. Poffins can be made by players in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to increase friendship and also max out stats like beauty. Beauty poffins consist of blue and dry-tasting berries, which you can find out in the world of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Once youve fed Feebas enough of those poffins, it will evolve into Milotic automatically. Either way is challenging, so it depends on if you want to get lucky with the Prism Scale or take the time to make poffins.

    Is Milotic Any Good

Knowing the steps on how to evolve Feebas into Milotic is good, but the question is if it is worth the time? In the earlier Generations, you have to do a lot of work to get a Milotic. It depends on how you play because Milotic is a good defensive Pokemon that can also hit hard when given the right moves. It excels in the special aspect and can be good against Electric and Grass-types.

Thats because those types are strong against Milotic, but its Sp. Defense will not let it get knocked out in the first few attacks. Plus, a lot of Milotics moves allow it to be tanky and remove debuffs and status ailments. In a sense, it is good to have on your party when you dont have any other suitable Water-types. Keep in mind it can also learn Ice and Dragon-type moves.

How To Evolve Milotic In Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go Milotic evolution doesnt exist, it is the last stage of evolution for Feebas. Pokemon Go Milotic evolves from Feebas after feeding it 100 candy and walking around with it for 20KM in the game. Milotic is part of the third generation of Pokemon and is commonly found in the Hoenn region. This Pokemon has the appearance of a majestic sea snake with a colorful tail. It has a beige body with red hair, red eyes, and red antlers, its tail looks like a fin and is an amalgam of colors including blue, black and red. Check out the Pokedex description for Milotic below:

Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokémon. It has the power to becalm such emotions as anger and hostility to quell bitter feuding.

    Pokmon Go Milotic Moves

    Best moveset: Waterfall / Surf

Milotic has been literally blessed with having access to Waterfall and Surf. Surf is a two bar high DPS move that works better than Hydro Pump in most scenarios, as it provides a consistent damage output, especially in combination with Waterfall. That is, if you decide to build Milotic as a Water type, not as a dragon type killer that it should be. Wait, what?

Check the moves below before we continue:

    • Waterfallwater
    • Blizzardice
    • Hyper Beam normal

Milotic has access to one of the most interesting movesets to ever appear on a Water typed Pokémon:

    • Dragon Taildragon
    • Blizzardice

Dragon Tail is arguably the best currently available Dragon move and Blizzard is simply a powerful Ice move, although we would prefer Ice Beam over it. In any case, with these two moves, Milotic can take on almost any Dragon type currently in game and win. Its like a Lapras, but with more damage and less bulk.
