How The Go Park Play Yard Works
If you transfer 25 of the same Pokemon into the Go Park from Pokemon Go, you’ll be able to enter the Play Yard for that specific Pokemon and unlock a secret mini-game that’ll earn you candy for that critter. From what we’ve seen so far, they’re all rather adorable, but it might take a while for you to unlock them all – especially as you can’t count any of the Pokemon you’ve caught in Pokemon Let’s Go towards that 25 total. It’s Pokemon Go transfers only.
Also, all 25 Pokemon have to be physically in the Go Park at the same time to access the mini-game. They don’t all have to be in the same Park though.
You have 20 Go Parks to choose from, each holding up to 50 Pokemon, meaning you can have up to 1000 Pokemon stored there at any one time. That basically equates to 40 mini-games active at once. Enjoy transferring, trainers!

How To Move Pokmon From Black And White And Virtual Console Games Using Pokmon Transporter
There are a handful of non-3DS Pokémon games playable on the 3DS that can be transferred to Pokémon Bank, and in turn, Pokémon Home. These are:
- Pokémon Black and White
- Pokémon Black and White 2
- Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow
- Pokémon Gold, Silver and Crystal

However, the process works a little differently than transferring Pokemon from other games, so we’ve put together this step-by-step guide outlining how to move your Pokemon from Go over to Pokemon Home.
Transferring Pokmon From Pokmon Home To Pokmon Sword And Shield
You can only transfer Pokémon that you can catch in Pokémon Sword and Shield from Pokémon Home into those games. That means you cant transfer Pokémon like Wurmple to Pokémon Sword and Shield, but they can stay in Pokémon Home indefinitely, so long as you pay your subscription fees.
Mythical Pokémon like Mew and Victini can only transfer to Pokémon Sword and Shield if you already have a legitimate version of that Pokémon in your Pokédex. These Pokémon have been available through events for a number of years, but if you missed out youll need to trade with a friend before you can transfer a mythical Pokémon to the main series game.

Pokmon Go: How To Transfer Your Pokmon From Pokmon Go To Pokmon Home
Pokémon HOME, the cloud based Pokémon storage that launched in February, 2020, is finally available for Pokémon Go. Pokémon HOME works a little different for Pokémon Go than it does for Pokémon Sword and Shield, but with a Gigantamax Melmetal and a Mystery Box on the line, you’re going to want to transfer at least one Pokémon every now and then.
Step : Open Pokmon: Lets Go On Your Switch
First, make sure the Nintendo account youre using on your Switch and in Pokémon Go is the same.
Within Lets Go, hit the X button to open up the main menu. Then press the Y button to select Options > Pokémon Go Settings > Yes to begin the sync with your Pokémon Go account.
If the game prompts you to pair with your Pokémon Go trainers name, youve successfully connected the accounts. Youll see a confirmation screen next.

A message from Niantic confirms: “Level 40 Trainers can now send Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME! Stay tuned as we continue to roll this feature out to more Trainers.”
ORIGINAL: Developers Niantic and the Pokemon Company have confirmed how they plan to transfer Pokemon Goto Pokemon Home.
For those that dont know what it is, Pokemon Home is a dedicated cloud service which allows trainers to store and transfer Pokemon from different games.
It means you can put your favourite Pocket Monsters together and make your perfect lineup, built from generations of hard work.
And it was announced just this week that Pokemon Go Home Transfers would soon be available to fans.
It should be noted that Pokemon being sent away to the Home cloud via the new Go Transporter, are making a one-way trip, as they cannot return PoGo after the transfer is complete.
There are also large limitations on how long it takes Pokemon to be transferred, and the amount of energy required to send certain Pokemon.
Receiving Pokmon In Pokmon Home
If youre using the Pokémon Home mobile app, simply open it and you should see a notification that Pokémon have transferred from Pokémon Go. Select Yes to receive the Pokémon and youll see them in your box.
If youre using Pokémon Home on the Nintendo Switch, you have to click the Pokémon Go button in the bottom right of your screen upon entering the app. Follow the instructions to complete the transfer.

Your Pokémon will know the moves it would ordinarily know at its level in Generation 8 the moves it has in Pokémon Go are irrelevant. However, your IVs will roughly match those of your Pokémon. Defense and Special Defense are taken from your Stamina statistic in Pokémon Go, Attack and Special Attack from your original Attack stat, and HP will roughly match HP. Speed is not a statistic in Pokémon Go, therefore this is entirely randomised.
Your Pokémon will also get a nature and ability, as these do not exist in Pokémon Go either.

Pokemon Go: Why You Should Transfer And What It Does
Pokemon GO allows you to transfer Pokemon to Professor Willow. This can be useful when your inventory gets full of Pokemon and you need a little more space. Heres what transferring a Pokemon does, and what you can get from it.
Ultimately, transferring a Pokemon to Professor Willow just means that youll no longer have the Pokemon. This doesnt get you a different Pokemon in return and the Professor doesnt have his own inventory for you to go ahead and trade back with at a later point, either. Once you transfer a Pokemon over to him, he keeps it forever and lord knows what happens to it.
On the flip side, he does offer you some pretty handy items in return for doing so. Things like Stardust and Candy can be gathered pretty quickly this way, which are helpful for powering up and evolving your Pokemon. If you keep coming across Ratatas, Pidgeys or Weedles, dont just ignore them. Take the time to capture them and send them over to the Professor. You may have to use a Pokeball to capture them, but the rewards are worth the trade off.

Step : Transferring A Pokmon From Phone To Switch
Now that the accounts are connected , you can transfer Pokémon over. Reminder: Any Pokémon you transfer over to the Switch cannot be transferred back to your phone.
On your phone, tap the Poké Ball, then the Pokémon menu item at the bottom left. You should now see a Nintendo Switch icon at the top-right of this screen.
Tap the Pokémon youre transferring over, tap Yes on the confirmation screen, and then tap OK to finish up. The game will start to search for your Nintendo Switch console.

How To Transfer Pokemon From Go To Sword & Shield
It’s important to mention that only Pokemon from the first generation are currently allowed to be transferred from Pokemon Go. This also includes the Pokemon’s Galarian form if the original is from the first generation. The player will need a copy of Pokemon Go, Pokemon Home, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee, and a copy of Pokemon Sword or Shield. Here’s how players can do it.
- Step 1: Reach Fuchsia City in Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee or Pikachu.
- Step 2: Head into the Safari Zone. This will unlock the ability to transfer over Pokemon from Pokemon Go.
- Step 3: Head into the menu and navigate to the Pokemon Go section to connect them.
- Step 4: Open Pokemon Go then head to the settings and connect to your Nintendo Switch.
- Step 5: Speak to the person in the Safari Zone to select which Pokemon to bring over. Confirm on both the phone and Switch.
- Step 6: Play a small mini-game to capture them all.
- Step 7: Boot up Pokemon Home and connect with Pokemon Let’s Go.
- Step 8: Bring the Pokemon from Let’s Go into Pokemon Home.
- Step 9: Transfer the eligible Pokemon from Pokemon Home into Pokemon Sword & Shield.

How To Link Your Pokmon Go And Nintendo Accounts
Setting up your Pokémon Home connection is the first step to transferring your Pokémon from Go to Home. First things first, open your app and head to settings. Scroll down to the bottom and click Pokémon HOME. Which Pokmon Should I Transfer And Which Should I Keep
If you’re XP grinding, it doesn’t really matter which extraneous Rattata or Pidgey you send to the Professor, but if you’re planning on leveling up or evolving your creatures, you’re going to want to think about a couple different attributes. How To Transfer Multiple Pokmon At Once
Thanks to an update to Pokémon GO, you can now transfer multiple ‘mons at once. So, getting extra candy from all of those Pidgey and Rattata is faster than ever!
Press and hold on a Pokémon you want to transfer. A green square will appear around it.
Tap Yes when asked to confirm. You can’t get back Pokémon that you transfer to Professor Willow.
All of the Pokémon that you selected will be transferred and you will receive one candy for each one.

Transferring Pokmon From Go To Home
Once your accounts are linked, you can transfer Pokémon using the Go Transporter. To do this, go to your settings, select Pokémon Home, and hit Send Pokémon.
From here, you can select any of the Pokémon you want to move. Keep in mind that you cannot transfer hat- or costume-wearing Pokémon, as well as Shadow or Mega Evolved Pokémon.
You can only transfer a limited number of Pokemon, as the Go Transporter only has a certain amount of energy. The energy recharges over time, but you can also opt to spend 1,000 Pokécoins to fill it back up instantly. It takes a little bit less than one week to refill the Go Transporter when its completely empty.
Transferring a Shiny Pokémon or Mythical Pokémon costs about 1/4 of the bar, and transferring a Shiny Legendary Pokémon depletes the entire bar. Transferring a regular Legendary Pokémon costs less than 1/6 of the bar.
You can only transfer Legendary Pokémon to Sword and Shield if youve already obtained them in that game, so dont get your hopes up if youre just trying to quickly complete your Pokédex.
If the Pokémon has a higher combat power, it will also cost a bit more.
What’s The Point In Transferring Pokmon
Other than for the pure joy of hanging out with your favourite Pokémon on the big screen, transferring Pokémon to Let’s Go from GO serves two pretty important purposes.
Firstly, and most importantly, it lets you fill out your Pokédex much faster than normal. Heck, you might even be able to transfer enough Pokémon right away to fill out your Pokédex immediately.
The second, and most exciting, reason to transfer Pokémon from GO to Let’s Go is to get your hands on the brand new Pokémon Meltan and its evolution Melmetal.

Connect Pokmon Go To Pokmon Home
Before starting to transfer Pokémon, youll need to connect your Pokémon Go account to the same Nintendo account that is linked to Pokémon Home. Turn on Pokémon Go and tap the Poké Ball icon on the bottom of the screen. Then go into the Settings option in the top right corner. Scroll until you see Pokémon Home, which will prompt you to sign in with your Nintendo account.
Niantic has changed the system a little bit since Pokémon Homes initial release. Originally, only players at level 40 could transfer Pokémon from Go to Home. But now, all players can use this system regardless of their level.
