How To Evolve Eevee Into Leafeon

Leafeon is a Grass-type Eevee evolution introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Leafeon and Glaceon, like other Gen 4 evolutions of previous-generation Pokémon, require a special item to evolve. Unlike all those other creatures, however, that item is not a Sinnoh Stone. Its a new special type of lure module: a mossy lure for Leafeon, and a glacial lure for Glaceon.

The mossy and glacial lure modules lure particular Pokémon to whatever stop you use them on, making for a marked difference from the usual, anything goes-style lure module. They also allow for evolution. Basically, all you need to do is drop your lure into any given Pokéstop and then select your Eevee. Youll see a special option so long as youre in the range of the Pokéstop and have 25 candies. Select that to get your Leafeon or your Glaceon, depending on your lure.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon

Espeon is a Psychic-type Eevee evolution, introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Raise the Eevee’s Friendship to three hearts, and then level it up during the day.

Name Trick Method For Evolving Eevee Into Espeon

One of the two ways that Pokemon GO trainers can turn their Eevee into an Espeon is by using a naming trick that was discovered quite some time ago. By changing Eevees name to Sakura, itll automatically turn into Espeon once it has been fed 25 Eevee Candies.

To change the name of a Pokemon, players will want to go into the Pokemons profile and then hit the pencil icon by its current name. This will allow for the changing of a Pokemons nickname. Its worth noting that this trick will only work one time per evolution type, meaning that players will not be able to get multiple Espeons from this exploit. Make sure to pick the perfect Eevee with the best stats before the decision is made.

Once the nickname has been changed, players will need to select the Evolve option in the Pokemons data screen. Pokemon GO will then make the player confirm the evolution, and then the Espeon will be there to greet them. Of course, trainers can always change the nickname to something else or just name it Espeon, depending on how they play. Changing Sakura to anything else will not cancel out the evolution or somehow revert the Espeon back into an Eevee.

Where To Get Eeevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield

Finding an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield is fairly easy. Trainers can find Eevees in the grass along Route 4 during any time of day. Take the train from Wedgehurst to this area to start searching for this previously elusive Pokemon.

While the location is straightforward, that doesnt mean the area is overflowing with Eevees. Eevee is just one of several Pokemon that can be found in the tall grass on Route 4. Take some time walking around the tall, yellow grass and keep an eye out for Eevees long ears.

Once an Eevee is spotted, just run into it to start the battle and go about it like any other Pokemon. Weaken the Eevee, throw a Poke Ball, and then add it to the party.

Another way to catch an Eevee is through Max Raid Battles located on Bridge Field, East Lake Axewell, Motostoke Riverbank, and Rolling Fields. While in the Wild Area, approach Pokemon Den beacons to take on Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon. When Pokemon Dens are emitting a ray of light that means there are Dynamax Pokemon hiding there, ready to be captured. Trainers wont know which Pokemon are waiting inside except for a shadow outline and mention of its type.

This isnt the most efficient way of getting an Eevee as there is a long list of Pokemon that could appear in any given den and Wishing Pieces are one of the games most expensive items. The benefit of catching an Eevee in a Max Raid Battle is that it will have much stronger base IV stats than those caught out in the wild.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Leafeon And Glaceon In Pokemon Go

If you do not already have Leafeon and Glaceon then you can use a cool trick that will guarantee that you Eevee evolves into Leafeon or Glaceon . The trick is to change the nickname of Eevee to ensure that a certain evolution takes place. The following are the nicknames that you can use in order to get the evolution that you want.

So in order to get Leafeon, you need to nickname Eevee Linnea and then evolve Eevee. This will evolve Eevee into Leafeon. If you want Eevee to evolve into Glaceon then nickname Eevee Rea and then evolve Eevee to get Glaceon.

The same trick works for other evolutions as well but you can only use it once per Eevee evolution. Once you get Glaceon using this trick then you cannot get the same result. You can use the trick for other evolutions but the same rule applies there as well.

If you evolve an Eevee raw by spending 25 candy, itll just evolve into one of the different available evolutions at random. However, you can actually force a specific evolution by renaming your Eevee of choice to a special nickname and the whole thing began as an easter egg nod to a classic set of Eevee evolutions found in the Pokemon anime TV show.

Again, because all the Pokémon in the deck are Rapid Strike Pokémon, using four Rapid Strike Energy helps fuel the big attacks much faster. Sylveon VMAX, Urshifu VMAX, and Zeraora V will all be able to use their most powerful attacks with only two Energy attachments.

Spiral Energy gives the deck some cute tricks, as well. It allows you to use Blaziken VMAXs Clutch attack, which can potentially trap your opponents Pokémon in the Active Spot to buy some time. Sylveon VMAX gets access to its Precious Touch attack as another way of accelerating Energy into play, and Zeraora V can use its Cross Fist attack. In addition, Spiral Energy prevents your Pokémon from being Paralyzed, which sometimes could spell trouble for a deck that relies on manually retreating Pokémon.

Sylveon VMAX is an interesting card that encourages thinking outside the box when constructing a deck, and Im a huge fan of that. I enjoy how well all these Rapid Strike cards are in perfect harmony with each other, even across all their different types. The shiny Eevees are out in force for Pokemon GOs Eevee Community Day, giving trainers around the world a shot at that elusive prize: a full collection of all 9 Eevee family shinies. But if you want to get Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Sylveon and Eevee, youll need to make use of a couple of tricks to make it happen. Heres how to do that. Ive published some of this info before, but it never hurts to have a refresher.

The simplest way of getting a specific evolution is to just change your Pokemons nickname. Each evolution has a nickname tied to it, and you can use that to guarantee a single evolution. So if youve already used this trick on a given account, it wont work again. So while this will likely be less useful for most, here are those:

• Flareon: Pyro
• Glaceon: Rea
• Sylveon: Kira

After that, most of the evolutions have an alternate, more involved method for forcing the evolution. Here are those:

• Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon: These ones are pure RNG, so best of luck.
• Umbreon: Walk an Eevee 10km as your buddy, then evolve it at night while its still your buddy. Update: this requires no walking distance during community day, just equip as your buddy at night and evolve.
