Roserade also boasts the top Poison DPS in GO. Poison has less type coverage than Grass, effective against only Fairy and non-Poison Grass-types, but this double role helps Roserade stand out. However, again, it needs;weather;boost to compete with Meteor Mash Metagross or elite Fire-types in the relevant matchups.

Competitors: Moltres, Entei, Flareon, Metagross

Get Sinnoh Stones Through Pvp Battles

It’s very rare but there’s a small chance to obtain Sinnoh Stones during PVP battles. Players have reportedly received them both as a reward for winning and as a consolation prize for losing. Though it’s a smaller chance than via Research Breakthroughs, you’re able to play several PVP rounds to earn rewards per day.

To play PVP, enter the main menu and click the option in the top right labeled ‘Battle.’

Best Pokemon To Use Sinnoh Stone On In Pokemon Go Electivire

Sinnoh Stone Evolutions

Electivire isnt quite as strong as Weavile or Roserade, but its definitely one of the best Pokemon to use your Sinnoh Stone on. Its not quite as good as the likes of Zapdos, but its still a force to be reckoned with.

Ive never liked Electivire personally, despite being a fan of Electabuzz ever since the original Gen 1 games. Theres no denying its viability in;Go;though, as it has well-rounded stats and access to Thundershock as its Fast Move. Weavile and Roserade should be your first two Sinnoh Stone evolutions, but if you havent got a preference after that, Electivire is definitely a good option.

Aside from these three Pokemon, it doesnt really matter who you use your Sinnoh Stone on. These are the best three Pokemon to use a Sinnoh Stone on, so you should just go with your favorites after obtaining them. Or before obtaining them. It all depends on how serious you are about having a powerful team. .

    How To Get The Sinnoh Stone

    The Sinnoh Stone is obtained from spinning Pokestops and Gyms. There is a very low drop chance of around 1% per spin to receivea Sinnoh Stone or any of the other evolution item, and thereis an equal chance of obtaining each of the 5 currently available items.

    There’s no way to ensure that the Sinnoh Stone will drop, but with only 4 other items, there’s a greater than 50% chancethat you’ll receive one once you’ve spun over 250 Pokéstops.

    The 7th day streak bonus gives you a very high chance of obtainingone of the evolution item, but it’s not believed to be guaranteed.

    Get on those research tasks and make sure you complete one a day as you will have a chance to get an Unova stone once every seven days if you do.

    They tend to drop the most commonly from these research tasks, specifically when you collect the rewards for completing seven days worth but, and this is frustrating, it is no guarantee. You could also end up with a Sinnoh stone but the best advice is to just keep doing these and hope that you get lucky.

    The word is that you will also be able to get one from PVP battles at some point but right now that hasnt been added so we just have the research tasks at the moment.

    Vine Whip + Solar Beam

    It seems like a travesty to list Tangrowth as a benchwarmer despite its overall great, well-rounded stats, but there’s too much Grass competition. Every 6 months there’s a new Grass starter featured in a Community Day, in addition to the established forms of Exeggutor and newcomers Breloom and Roserade. You could have a unique team of the 6 top Grass attackers, and Tangrowth wouldn’t make the cut.

    Tangrowth;has the highest TDO of all current Grass attackers, which provides a cool niche. It uniquely can survive Kyogre’s Blizzard with HP to spare, which would’ve been great had Kyogre not just rotated out of legendary raids.

    What Is A Sinnoh Stone

    The Sinnoh Stone is the latest addition to Pokémon Go’s evolution items. Similar to the others such as the Metal Coat, King’s Rock, Sun Stone, etc. It can be used to evolve specific Pokémon into their generation 4 evolutions. Unlike the other evolution items, the Sinnoh Stone can be used on quite a few different Pokémon. While the others only work on 1 or 2, the Sinnoh Stone can create 18 new evolutions.

    Razor Leaf + Grass Knot

    Pokemon Go Guide

    With Roserade gaining Grass Knot on 1/31/19,;it rose;head and shoulders above its Grass competition in the way of DPS. The previous 1-bar Solar Beam often disappointed trainers, who found that Roserade would be KO’d before being able to use the move.

    Grass is a useful attacking type, but there are many other good and available Grass attackers, meaning Roserade may not be worth your Sinnoh Stone just for this purpose. Without the help of weather boost, Grass attackers fall behind the best Water-types against Ground and Rock and behind the best Electric attackers against Water-type targets. For this reason, too, Electivire may be a better candidate.;Grass-types still remain second class attackers in Pokemon Go overall.

    How To Get The Sinnoh Stone In Pokemon Go

    The method of how to get a Sinnoh Stone still involves completing a seven-day field research breakthrough.

    But a new way to get hold of a Sinnoh Stone was shared by reddit user Arik90.

    As reported on Eurogamer, Sinnoh Celebration research tasks are a series of limited-time quests in Pokémon Go, which will help you find a Sinnoh Stone and various Gen 4 Pokémon.

    These tasks, that will be live in Pokémon Go between Friday 7 February and Monday 10 February, include:

    • Catch 5 Kricketot Combee encounter
    • Catch 5 Turtwig, Chimchar or Piplup 1,000 Stardust
    • Hatch 5 eggs Sinnoh Stone
    • Use a Sinnoh Stone to evolve a Pokémon Cranidos encounter
    • Win a raid Hippopotas encounter

    How To Get Evolution Items In Pokemon Go

    Now, I dont want to sound like a nagging Poke-parent – ironic given how lax parents are in the main games – but its time to up your game and start playing Pokemon Go every day. Yep, on your feet soldier. If you arent already, this small step will guarantee you a Pokemon Go evolution item every seven days from your seven day Pokestop streak and increase your odds of finding a Sinnoh Stone.

    Regular special items such as Up-Grades and Kings Rocks sometimes even drop from regular Poke Stops but making sure to spin a Poke Stop every day and working towards your streak will ensure you get at least one every week. Bear in mind though that its impossible to predict what youll get so you might have to see a few Metal Coats before you find the Sun Stone you want.;

    The Sinnoh Stone, introduced with Gen 4, is a significantly trickier find but not impossible. There are two main ways to find a Sinnoh Stone. The first is to complete your seven day research breakthrough tasks. This essentially means earning one stamp each day until you earn a legendary Pokemon encounter. If youre lucky, at the same time, youll earn a Sinnoh Stone but they are not guaranteed. The second way to find one is to take part in trainer battles via PvP. Sinnoh Stones have been known to drop for both winners and losers. Good luck!;
