Where To Get An Everstone

Pokemon Sword and Shield: How To Find EVOLUTION STONES In Wild Area! (Nintendo Switch)

The Everstone is something that you may have a number of from the main game or The Isle of Armor expansion, but theres also a good chance you just missed out on them or even sold them. This is not good, considering you absolutely need one of them to complete The Legendary Giants quest and specifically to get access to Regirock.

Thankfully, The Crown Tundra has an Everstone that you can grab that isnt too overly far away from where you need it at. What you need to do is head to the most eastern area of Giants Bed that will eventually lead to you Giants Foot. From here, follow the water in the middle of the area and take it into a cave known as the Roaring-Sea Cave.

This can be rather confusing, but what you want to start doing is check for every sparkling item in the cave. The specific one that youre going to want is right before the exit/entrance to Frigid Sea, which you can see in the image above. If you walk through that path and havent found it, turn around and head down the tunnel youre in and it should be directly on the right when you enter the bigger room here.

How To Get Evolution Stones From Completing Pok Jobs In Pokmon Sword And Shield

The easiest way to find Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to complete Poké Jobs.

Once you’ve earned the Water Badge, the second gym badge in both games, you’ll be able to access the third tier of Poké Jobs. From this tier onwards, if your Pokémon do a great job at their assigned job, then you may be rewarded with an Evolution Stone.

You see the current Poké Job listings and assign Pokémon to them by using the PC in any Pokémon Centre.

Carefully read the summary of each Poké Job to ensure your Pokémon do a great job, because this will give you a hint about which type of Pokémon to pick.

If a job says that the Pokémon must be good with fire, for example, then you need to pick a selection of fire-type Pokémon.

Sending the maximum amount of Pokémon that the job requires will also increase your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone.

The amount of time you assign your Pokémon to these jobs, however, won’t affect your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone. Instead, this only affects the amount of EXP you receive.

Basically, while some Pokemon will evolve naturally, others like Eevee, will need the use of specific Evolution Stones to evolve to specific evolutions.

To make use of an Evolution Stone, youre going to need to give them to the Pokemon that require them. This can be done by heading into your Bag by opening the menu with X. Next, select your Bag, then navigate over to the Other Items section. Finally, highlight the particular Evolution Stone that you want to use and then use the item on the Pokemon. How To Catch Eevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield

Pokemon Images: Pokemon Sword And Shield All Trade Evolutions

So you can acquire an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield in more than one way. The first, which weve already briefly mentioned, is to actually own Pokemon Lets Go Eevee and have a save file of it on your Switch. If you do, youll be able to pick up the Gigantamax Eevee from one of two trainers in the Wild Area train station by the Meetup Spot.

However, if youre just looking out for your average Eevee, weve got some good news. Sure, its not going to be as adorably fluffy as the Gigantamax version that you can get, but theyre actually not super difficult to find in the wild. Our recommendation would be to head straight for Route 4 after arriving from Wedgehurst and to just start running around until you spot them scampering around.

Take your time to head back and forth between the areas til an Eevee makes its presence known, then proceed how you normally would when it comes to catching any other Pokemon. Eevee can evolve into all of its Eeveelutions in this game so long as youve got the right evolution stone or meet the right conditions. For example, weve got a guide on how to turn your Eevee into a Sylveon if youre interested, and you can check that out here.

Evolution Stones In Pokmon Sword And Shield Explained

Evolution Stones are exactly what they sound like – special stones that allow specific Pokémon to reach their final evolution. Vulpix, for example, can only evolve into Ninetales if you use a Fire Stone on it.

There are ten types of Evolution Stone in total.

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, Evolution Stones can be found using a variety of different methods and places. These methods and places include:

There have been, however, some changes to which Pokémon require Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Leafeon, Glaceon and Vikavolt, which were all evolved by levelling them up in a special location, require Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

For evolving Eevee into Leafeon you need a Leaf Stone or Glaceon an Ice Stone. If you want a Vikavolt, then you need to use a Thunder Stone on a Charjabug. Finally, the Galarian form of Darumaka, which is an ice-type Pokémon, requires an Ice Stone to evolve into Galarian Darmanitan.

It should be noted that some of the Pokémon that can be traditionally obtained via Evolution Stones can now be found in the Wild Area. This includes Pokémon like Vikavolt and Glaceon.

These Pokémon are, however, considered ‘Strong-looking’ Pokémon and require you to obtain Gym Badges to catch them. Using an Evolution Stone can help you obtain these Pokémon without having to get the specific Gym Badge you might need.
