Stage : Reach Level 25 Use Sun Stone To Evolve Gloom Or Sunkern Hatch 9 Eggs
If you’re already level 25 or over, you’ll automatically complete the first part. Otherwise, you’ll want to use some Lucky Eggs and do back-to-back Legendary Raids . If you’re close to any Great or Ultra Friends, get those with the Lucky Egg as well for 20K XP and 100K XP each. You can find more tricks in our how to get the most XP and level up fast guide.
Use the Sun Stone you got as a reward in Stage 2 to evolve a Gloom or Sunkern . If you used your Sun Stone already, you can get another from Field Research. Just keep spinning Poke Stop until you find the “Catch 3 Sunkern’s for a Sun Stone” task and then get catching.
Hatching 9 Eggs simply means spinning Poké Stops or opening Gifts until you fill up your Egg Storage, putting them all in Super Incubators, and walking until the 9th one hatches. If get 2KM eggs, that won’t take long. 7KM and 10KM, obviously, will take longer. So will using standard Incubators or only walking one at a time. You’ll need to decide if time is more valuable to you than Poké Coins for the Incubators.

Pokemon Go Shiny Celebi Event Start Time & Date
Niantic surprised fans on December 3 by announcing a special in-game event based on the upcoming film. While Sword & Shield got a similar promo for Shiny Celebi back in August, GO players will also now have a chance at getting their hands on the rare mon.
The event will take place on December 14, and requires fans to complete a set of Special Research tasks to encounter the rare Pokemon. The celebration will officially kick off at 8:00AM local time according to the announcement written on their website.
Interestingly, iconic Team Rocket characters Jessie and James make their return appearance as a part of the research that leads to players finding the Shiny monster.
A collaboration event with Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle will start on December 14! Encounter Shiny Celebi in a limited-time Special Research story, and Jessie and James return to #PokemonGO. #PokemonMovie

Stage : Power Up A Pokmon 5 Times Battle In A Gym 2 Times Battle In A Raid
This one is easy. If you’re Stardust starved and have a Lucky Pokémon, power one up to save half the dust. If you just want it done, power up something with very low requirements, like a CP 10 common Pokément. If you want to get value from your power-ups, stick to Machamp, Kyogre, and Groudon this month.
For the Gym, pick any Gym from any team that’s not yours and has more than 2 Pokémon on it. Then battle two Pokémon. Easy peasy.
For the Raid, if you belong to a Raid group or can find one on Facebook, WhatsApp, Discord, etc. in your area, just jump on the next available Raid. Otherwise, look for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Raid in your area that you can do by yourself.

Stage : Walk 10 Km With Eevee As Your Buddy To Earn Candy Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon At Night Trade A Pokmon
Switch your Buddy to Eevee and get walking as soon as this task becomes available to you. Usually, you need 10KM and 2 Candy, so make sure you get both.
Once you’re done, make sure it’s nighttime in the game and hit evolve to get Umbreon.
Making a Trade is easy.

Oooh, what could that Sun Stone reward from the previous task be for? Well the good news is that you already have one of the Pokemon Go special items, now all you need is either 100 Oddish candy to evolve Gloom, or, more likely after the Johto event, 50 Sunkern candy. If you dont have enough candy, its time to walk but, dependent on how much candy you have of each one, youll have to take the below into account.
Ironically, if you have already evolved Gloom into Bellossom, and then set Bellossom as your buddy, youll only have to walk 1km to earn 1 Oddish candy. Sunkern on the other hand is a 3km buddy. Youll just have to work out who will take you the shortest time and distance. Youll need to walk off those 9 eggs anyway so its time to get stretching those legs.
Which Is The Best Ball To Catch Pokemon
Master Ball: Catches Pokémon without fail. Moon Ball: 4× catch rate if Pokémon is in an evolutionary family involving a Moon Stone. Nest Ball: Increased catch rate on lower-leveled Pokémon. Net Ball: 3× catch rate on Bug and Water -type Pokémon. Park Ball: Catches Pokémon without fail. Poké Ball: 1× catch rate, most basic Poké Ball.

Transfer Over From Pokemon Home
For now, there doesn’t appear to be a way to catch Celebi in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. If you have a Celebi from previous events, such as the recent Shiny Celebi that was given away as part of the Pokemon movie, Secret of the Jungle, you may be able to import them through Pokemon HOME once it becomes available for BDSP in 2022.

In terms of making new friends, Pokemon Go always wants you to get out into the world and meet people. If you arent already part of a local Facebook or Discord group, hunt one down, or you could always guarantee a new set of friends by putting your friend code on Twitter with a #PokemonGo hashtag and hunting for people who have done the same.
The second task here, evolving an evolved Grass type Pokemon, might be trickier dependent on how much Grass type candy you are storing. This Grass Pokemon already needs to be on the 2nd of its evolutions before you hit evolve again ie: Ivysaur to Venusaur or Skiploom to Vileplume. You do not need to have been the one to do the first evolution – ie you could catch or trade a wild Skiploom and it will work – but you do need to have the inevitably 100 candy to do the evolution. If you dont have it to hand, its time to buddy up and get walking.

Ill bet if you spend some time with it during the day, youll be able to evolve your Eevee into an Espeona Psychic-type Pokémon just like the Mythical Pokémon Im researching!
Helpful notes: You have to gain 2 buddy candies from walking 10km with an Eevee, while this stage of the quest is active, to be able to evolve it into Espeon. Any candies gained before starting this stage wont count towards your progress . Also, if you change your buddy part way through the task, you will have to start that 5km again and walk further than 10km in total, to gain the two candies.

A Ripple In Time Part 3
The third part of your quest gets a little specific with its tasks. You must reach Level 25 in the game. You can level up as a trainer by catching Pokémon, hatching eggs, interacting with PokéStops, and battling at Gyms. You must also hatch nine eggs, which you can do by collecting eggs and incubators, then walking around for the allotted distance. Since common eggs require less walking, it’s a good idea to use them in this situation, if you want to get through this part quickly.
In order to move ahead, you must also use a Sun Stone to evolve a Gloom into Bellossom or a Sunkern into Sunflora. Since both Pokemon are rare finds in the wild, it’s hard to say which one is best to target. Keep in mind that Gloom will also require 100 Candies to evolve, while Sunkern will only need 50, which could save you a lot of time in the end.
A Ripple In Time Part 4
The next two parts are very Eevee focused, so make sure you’ve found plenty of them by this point. Basically, you have to evolve Eevee into Espeon, which is actually a two-part process. Because Eevee will normally evolve into one of Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon with 25 Candies, you must first make your Eevee eligible to become Espeon.
You can do this by assigning Eevee as your buddy and walking 10 km. This will complete your first task, and also make it possible to accomplish the second. Now if you use 25 Candies on that Eevee during the day, it will evolve in Espeon.
Finish out this part of the quest by sending 20 gifts to your friends. Go to your friend page and select the person you want to send a gift to. You can gather items to gift at PokéStops. Keep in mind that you can only gift each friend once a day, so if you want to get through this quickly, youll need to friend a few people. Trainers who are 13 or younger dont have to go through this step, so it will complete on its own.

How To Get Shiny Celebi Before It Leaves Pokemon Go
Celebi was previously introduced to Pokemon Go in a separate quest line, but Shiny Celebi is part of its own quest. But players who havent started the research task dont have much longer before the task leaves the game.
The Shiny Celebi research task is called Distracted by Something Shiny. Anyone who has already started the research task doesnt need to worry about the quest going away. But anyone who hasnt claimed or started Distracted by Something Shiny will only have until February 28, 2021 to start the quest.
Afterwards, research task can no longer be claimed and will only remain for players whove made some progress. To get the research task, all players need to sign into the game, and the quest will be added to current tasks. The task was part of the Secrets of the Jungle event in Pokemon GO, and is presented by Jesse and James of Team Rocket in the anime.

Dragon scales in Pokemon GO are incredibly rare and is absolutely imperative when looking to evolve the pokemon Seadra into Kingdra. In order to reach that final form, players will need 100 Horsea candies and a dragon scale in order to evolve them, which then turns Kingdra into a powerful pocket monster perfect for raids and taking over gyms.
Getting 100 Horsea candies is going to take a hot minute, but how hard can one dragon scale be since its just one of those? Celebi is the second mystical Pokémon and the last missing Pokédex entry of the second generation. While legendary Pokémon are powerful creatures that can only be caught in the game in a prescribed manner, their mystical counterparts are distributed as part of real events .
Although Celebis exact moveset is still largely unclear , we at least already know that it is a Psycho Plant Pokémon and therefore susceptible to fire, beetle, dark and ghost Attacks will be. You should expect rather overwhelming values anyway. In this respect: No, the greenish guy is not a relevant reinforcement of your team, but rather a pure collectors item. Exactly this rarity alone should be worth the effort of the special research quest. After all, there will be no way to trade Celebi like other Pokémon.
And of course, the pocket monster wont be the last mysterious Pokémon. Every generation has at least one of these rare beings in store and the third generation with Jirachi and Deoxys, which has already begun, even has two. It should therefore only be a matter of time before these monsters receive their own special research and find their way into the game.
A Ripple In Time Part 7
The tasks in part seven work well together, so you can earn your way to completing all three at the same time. You must catch 30 Grass- or Psychic-type Pokémon, which means you should probably hang out in a grassy area for a while. Psychic Pokémon don’t have a set area they like to populate, so you’re better of targeting Grass-types if you can.
While you’re busy working to catch those 30 Pokémon, you can also practice your throwing technique because you need to perform an Excellent Curveball Throw. When you encounter a Pokémon, you can actually control where and when you throw the Poké Ball. Time your throw when the glowing ring is at its smallest and your throw will be considered better. To perform a Curveball, you need to spin the Poké Ball in a circle and release it in such a way that it lands inside the circle in front of the Pokémon. If you do it right, you’ll perform an Excellent Curveball Throw, and you’ll pass this part of the quest.
While you’re off catching Pokémon, hopefully you’re also racking up the amount of critters you have seen before you need to earn the gold Johto Medal in order to continue on. To earn this medal, you will have to fill your Pokédex with 100 Pokémon from the Johto region.
