Magnetic Bait Module The Necessary Object To Evolve Nosepass To Probopass

As in the Sinnoh region, whose Mount Corona radiates a magnetism that allows Pokémon such as Nosepass in Probopass and Magneton in Magnezone to evolve in the games of the main saga, in Pokémon GO that idea has been transferred with the particularity that, to evolve them, it is necessary to have a Magnetic Bait Module . Thanks to the In Search of Legends event we can get one after finishing the investigation, but it can also be purchased.

Pokemon Go: How To Evolve Nosepass Into Probopass

With the upcoming Searching for Legends event heavily featuring Nosepass, it seemed like a good time to remind trainers how to obtain their very own Probopass in Pokemon Go!

Nosepass is a bit of an odd pokemon design, I mean its a head on legs with magnet arms and a giant red nose. But hey, its a funny design at least.

For those players interested in completing their Pokedex however, Nosepass is a bit of a curious entry as with the mainline games Nosepass definitely have an evolution into Probopass, but Pokemon Go doesnt show an evolution button on Nosepass when selected.

Luckily, this isnt a weird case of not being able to evolve your nosepass at all. Its just Nosepass has another evolution requirement outside of the usual 50 candy, and the button only appears when that requirement is met.

Many of the Pokémon in Pokémon Go have to meet special conditions if you want to evolve them. For most of them, all you need to do is collect enough candy by capturing the Pokémons base form or by walking with them as your buddy. A few of them have special conditions, such as the Eevee evolutions, where you need to walk with them for a certain distance, evolve them during the day or not, or use a special lure at a Poké Stop. For players attempting to evolve Nosepass, it does have a final evolution, Probopass. You can only acquire it by meeting the candy requirements and having a magnetic lure available on a Poké Stop.

Before you think about the magnetic lure, you need to make sure youve acquired 50 Nosepass candies. You can earn these by capturing Nosepass in the wild, from raids, hatching them from eggs, or walking with a Nosepass as your buddy and earning them at distance milestones.

When you have enough, the next step is to acquire a magnetic lure. These lures are rare, but you can obtain them from completing special research tasks, reaching trainer level milestones, or purchasing them in the store for 200 Poké Coins.

How To Get The National Pokdex In Pokmon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl

To unlock the National Pokédex in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you must see every Pokémon which appears in the Sinnoh Pokédex.

The entries you may have trouble filling are Drifloon and, depending on the version you’re playing, Dialga and Palkia. When it comes to these legendaries, visit Cynthia’s grandmother in Celestic Town and she will show you the entry for the legendary not in your version of the game.

You can also trade Dialga and Palkia with other players if you want the full Pokédex entry!

After you’ve seen every Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex, head back to Sangem Town and talk to Professor Rowan. Here an old friend will arrive and give you the National Pokédex! You will also receive the PokéRadar, which is useful for completing the National Pokédex, at this time.

It is possible to catch a number of Pokémon which appear in the National Pokédex before obtaining it – you’ll gain access to their Pokédex entries once you obtain the National Dex.

Finally, it’s important to note that you don’t need Manaphy to complete the Sinnoh Pokédex and, in doing so, unlock the National Pokédex. Since Manaphy is a mythical Pokémon, you only need the first 150 Pokémon in the Sinnoh Pokédex.

Magnetic Lures: How To Evolve Nosepass Into Probopass / How To Evolve Magneton Into Magnezone

A couple of conditions conspire to make Magnezone and Probopass two of the easiest to miss Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Firstly, they do not appear in sequence with their pre-evolutions in the Pokédex. Secondly, they are unique in that if you look at a Magneton or Nosepass Pokémon page, theres no button hinting that they can evolve.

In fact, this evolution button will only appear when you stand near a Pokéstop with an active Magnetic Lure. Before you rush out and drop a magnetic lure, its also worth knowing that you will need 100 Magnemite and 50 Nosepass candies for each evolution we recommend saving up for both before you drop the lure.

How To Get Shiny Nosepass And Probopass

The Searching for Legends event is the first time Shiny Nosepass has been made available in Pokémon GO, so players will definitely want to get one while they have better odds at catching one. You have quite a few ways to do that during the event, with most offering great shiny odds compared to the usual methods. The best way to get Shiny Nosepass is simply to encounter as many as you can during the event, but theres a lot of nuance to that so lets explore the many opportunities you have down below.

Nosepass will be appearing more frequently in the wild, so simply checking the area around you likely will yield good results for shiny hunting. Incense so far does not seem to increase the frequency of Nosepass spawns though , so youre left with whatever appears around you normally. There are better options for catching Shiny Nosepass though.

Timed and Field Research are truly the best method for getting a Shiny Nosepass during the Searching for Legends event. We break down the Timed Research here and have a list of all the Field Research tasks as well. For the Field Research you have a lot more chances if you play a lot. Any time you spin a Poké Stop during the event, which runs from March 9th to the 14th, you might receive one of the event exclusive tasks. Complete it for a Nosepass encounter that could end up being shiny.
