  • Fairy Type Is The Bane Of Dragon Type

With plenty of resistances and only a couple of weaknesses, dragon types used to be on top of the world and nearly unstoppable. That is, until;Pokémons;sixth-generation added fairy type to its roster, bringing the mighty dragons down a peg with;them as their new weakness. However, it is a little strange that fairies turned out to be the bane of dragon types.

Fairies are usually depicted as small and cute creatures, and a lot of the;Pokémon under this type definitely fit that mold. And fairies dont typically beat dragons in fantasy stories, so it seems like a stretch for;Pokémon like Jigglypuff or Slurpuff to be so effective against intimidating foes like Dragonite and Salamence.

Why Is Magnezone Not In Pokemon Go

Water beats Fire. Fire beats Grass. Grass beats Water. Sounds good. Fighting beats Steel? Fairy beats Dragon? Dragon beats itself? Wait, what?

Every single creature and move that exists in the large and wild cast of the;Pokémon;franchise has a type that;affects their powers and abilities. Type matchups are also a;key component to;Pokémon battling as some types of;Pokémon are strong or weak against specific other types.

For the most part,;Pokémons;type advantages make sense.;However, some of them;seem like a bit of a stretch and there are plenty that seem like random choices to give certain;Pokémon types more advantages.

    UPGRADE: Porygon evolving into Porygon2

Despite their fighting spirit and tough look, fighting types have weaknesses like any other;Pokémon. Their weaknesses include flying and psychic types. They are also weak against fairy types, though this one seems to be the more head-scratching weakness of the bunch since theres no official or clear-cut reason for it.

It could possibly be inferred that fairy represents magic, something that cant be fought in a traditional sense.;Though even that reason could be argued against;since the feats of fighting-type;Pokémon can defy whats physically possible, according to the;Pokédex.

    Pokemon Go Kings Rock

Kings Rock is a stone that helps in evolving certain Pokemon in the game. This stone acts just like the Sinnoh stone, Dragon Scale or Sun Stone and helps in evolving certain Pokemon. The players can use the Kings Rock to evolve two Pokemon in Pokemon Go, Poliwhirl to Politoed, and Slowpoke to Slowking. The players just need to give these Pokemon the King Rock and some candy and the Pokemon will evolve into their Royal forms. What You Should Know About Evolutions In Pokmon Go

As with Powering Up, there are some important things to bear in mind for evolving your Pokémon.

    • Evolving is one of the main ways you can earn a large amount of XP over a short period of time to level up quickly, and so if you happen to have a spare Lucky Egg, you might want to hold back on evolving – saving those Pidgeys, Caterpies, and Weedles in particular.
    • Generally, you want to completely avoid evolving in the early game unless you’re using that Lucky Egg strategy. You can’t battle Gyms until Level 5, and can’t reasonably get any Pokémon that could actually challenge a Gym until the Level 10-15 mark. As tempting as it can be to get that first one under your belt, because you’ll likely catch stronger Pokémon as you Level up as a Trainer anyway, it really is best to wait.
    • A Pokémon’s IVs – or natural strength or potential – stay the same after it has evolved.
    • A Pokémon’s moves are randomised each time it evolves, and can’t be changed in any other way.
    • You should always evolve a Pokémon fully when you can – so, a Geodude all the way through Graveler to a Golem – because otherwise the time it takes to earn another 100 Candy for your respective Pokémon will likely see you level up enough to catch a higher Level version. Waiting to do it in one go saves you the time and resources it would cost to Power Up a low-Level Pokémon to the same Level as one you’ve caught later on.

Where To Find A Moon Stone In Pokemon Lets Go

There are four Pokemon that evolve using a Moon Stone, including:

    • Nidorino to Nidoking
    • Jigglypuff to Wigglytuff
    • Clefairy to Clefable

You can find Moon Stones quite easily in Mt. Moon early on in the game as hidden items. They appear in the craters that you see on the ground inside of the dungeon and respawn every 24 hours.

You can tell when you get near to the stones because your partner Pokemons tail starts to wag really quickly.

We found Moon Stones in the second basement levels of the dungeon, in the craters in the screenshots below:

If youre later on in the game, you can find an additional Moon Stone as a hidden item in the Copycats house, next to her Clefairy dolls.

    What Pokmon Should I Evolve

If youre prioritizing attackers for raids, Mamoswine is one of the best. It has a mix of extremely high CP, with strong ground and ice-type moves, making it a solid pick for most Legendary raids. Roserade is also one of thebest grass-types, and Electivire is one of the best electric-types

However, if you want to evolve a Lickilicky just to have a cute, round friend, thats a pretty good option, too.

Every Pokmon That Can Mega Evolve

Porygon Evolution Pokémon Go Upgrade Evolve Porygon2

Pokémon Mega Evolution, added in Gen 6, gives Pokémon additional, powerful forms, but it can only be achieved in battle by a select group of species.

Every;recent;Pokémon;generation has introduced a unique battle mechanic. Between Sword and Shield‘s Dynamax and Gigantamax forms,;Sun and Moon‘s Z-Moves, and X and Y’s Mega Evolution,;traditional Pokémon battles have become more exciting and engaging. While some variation of the former two mechanics can be used by all;Pokémon, only certain species can Mega Evolve – and that list isn’t as long as some players might like.

Mega Evolution;allows capable Pokémon to gain a new, temporary evolutionary form when holding the correct Mega Stone. Once per battle, a single capable Pokémon in the party can Mega Evolve for the duration. Mega Evolution lasts;until the Pokémon is knocked unconscious or, unlike Gigantamaxing and Dynamaxing, the entire battle, if the Pokémon stays alive. Mega Evolution has appeared in;X and Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and Sun and Moon. It also appears in some spin-off games, but it’s usually just a bonus there that’s limited to a short list of species. In;Pokémon GO, for example, there are only 10 Pokémon currently able to Mega Evolve.

How To Get A Sinnoh Stone In Pokemon Go

    There are currently three ways to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon Go.;

    • On the completion of the final day of your 7 day Research Task
    • During PvP
    • Battling against the three team leaders on Community Day

Yes, those looking for Sinnoh Stones at Poke Stops or as part of the tasks themselves can stop torturing themselves. The two main places to get a Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon Go are currently only on the 7th day of your Research Task completion or as a reward for taking part in PvP. Unfortunately theres no guarantee that you will get a Sinnoh Stone as the end of your seven day streak but the chances are very high of a Sinnoh Stone dropping as well as your usual Pokemon Go Legendaries reward.

Another far less common place to find this elusive special item is during the newly introduced PvP, where it is possible for a Sinnoh Stone to drop as part of your post battle rewards. Theres no clear sign of the odds of this though as people have been rewarded for both wins and losses with this special item. Just like the Pokemon Go shiny list, its going to be a case of letting yourself not get too frustrated by the odds.

    If you dont fancy spinning the PvP wheel, stick to getting through your Research Tasks every day and every seven days you should earn yourself a Sinnoh Stone. Then its merely a matter of choosing which of the 4th generation Pokemon youre going to evolve first.;

    How Iv Affects Max Cp

Lets say I have two Snorlaxes and I am a level 40 player . Both are currently at 2500 CP, but:

    • one has 100% IVs and Max CP of 3355
    • the other has 0% IVs and Max CP of 2926

If I chose to power up the 100% IV Snorlax to its max CP, I would need to power it up all the way to 3355 CP, which is the max CP Snorlax can have . However, if I were to power up the 0% IV Snorlax, it would only go to 2926 CP which is the max it can have with 0% IVs.

    IV %
    429

When it comes to a Snorlax, you can expect there is approximately;a 400 CP difference between 100% IVs and 0, but lets not forget that;Snorlax is one of the highest CPs in the game: this 400 CP difference is around the maximum difference between highest and lowest CP of any given Pokemon.

This really isnt a huge difference.;If you have a Pokemon that is in the highest or second highest IV tier, it really is not;that far away from perfect Max CP. So evolving a Pokemon with IVs in the first or second tier is a good idea, you dont need to wait for the perfect IVs.

Never power up a Pokémon;before evolving it! If you get a bad moveset, its CP value doesnt really matter and you probably dont want to power up it!
