How To Get Merit Points

How to Get Evolution Stones/ Items Pokemon GO | Scyther to Scizor Evolution

You can get Merit Points by turning in Lost Satchels in the game. These are obtained by looking at the map and locating the icons shaped like suitcases. Head to the location of the icon, and you will find a Lost Satchel. These will generally be from NPCs, but if you have Nintendo Online, you will also find satchels from players that were KOd.

Credit to Gamer Guru on YouTube for the map screenshot used below.

Open up the trainer menu, and scroll to the side to locate Communications. From here, select Lost & Found and you will find the satchels you have located. Select one of them and hit the A button on it to turn it in. You will then be rewarded with Merit Points! You get around 50 100 for each Satchel you grab.

You do not need Nintendo Online for this to work, but if you have it you will likely be able to find more satchels since you will have players included as well.

The first is to complete your seven day research breakthrough tasks. This essentially means earning one stamp each day until you earn a legendary Pokemon encounter. If youre lucky, at the same time, youll earn a Sinnoh Stone but they are not guaranteed. The second way to find one is to take part in trainer battles via PvP.
