Dont be fooled by the convoluted title Pokemon Master Journeys: The Series is simply a continuation of the Pokemon TV series thats been running for more than two decades, numbering well over 1,100 episodes. Its the 24th season, which will be released in three episode batches on Netflix, he said, spewing a few basic facts while he tries to wrap his arms around a sprawling multimedia franchise likely to bewilder lesser mortals. But one must remember that one cannot catch em all in one sitting, so one should just focus on the task at hand and assess the latest adventures of Pikachu and whatsisname, as they cavort with their human and Pokemon friends and thwart the schemes of their jerktastic rivals.

Although the total number of episodes for Pokemon Journeys hasnt been announced, each new Pokemon season tends to have around 50 episodes. For example, Pokemon XYZ had 47 episodes, while Pokemon Season 22 had 54 episodes.
When Netflix U.S. released Part 3 the Japanese anime was already up to Pokemon Journeys Episode 49 by December 11, 2020. Part 4 included up through Episode 48.
But it turns out that the season was surprisingly long. It was eventually confirmed that the Pokemon Journeys Episode 60 release date in Japan was scheduled for March 19, 2021. That means Netflixs Pokemon Journeys Part 5 anime TV series will contain the finale.
How Many Parts Or Episodes Will Pokemon Master Journeys Have
As previously noted, Netflix confirmed that Pokemon Journeys Episode 48 was the ending of Season 23. Each new Pokemon season tends to have around 50 episodes. For example, Pokemon XYZ had 47 episodes, while Pokemon Season 22 had 54 episodes.
But Pokemon Season 23 is highly unusual in that it was already confirmed to have 75 episodes in Japan long before Netflix confirmed that the second half would be considered Season 24! Now that we know that Pokemon Master Journeys starts with Episode 49, the plan is to continue releasing new episodes in blocks of 12.
The;new Pokemon Season 24;will have approximately 42 episodes in total according to an official press release. That means the newest season will have at least three parts on Netflix.
The only question is if Pokemon Master Journeys Part 3 will have 18 episodes . But since Netflix announced that theyre releasing in blocks of 12 its more likely that Pokemon Master Journeys Part 4 will be shorter and end by having only around 6 episodes.

The Pokemon Journeys Part 5 release date on Netflix is on September 10, 2021, but there will be a major change to the renewed TV show. The new episodes will officially be considered the 24th season, Pokemon Master Journeys, which will continue the story.
As Netflix users know, the streaming giant likes to set up audiences for binge-watching rather than releasing episodes weekly. That means Pokemon Journeys will be split up into multiple seasons or parts.
Originally, Netflix planned on releasing the episodes in blocks of 12. The;official Pokemon website;stated that another 12 episodes will be added every three months for the duration of the season.
Part 4 came out on March 5, 2021. Based on that announcement, Pokemon Journeys Part 5 should have been released in June 2021. But the month came and went without Netflix making any announcements.
The interesting thing is that the official website also said in March 2021 that Part 4 was the final collection of Pokemon Journeys: The Series episodes that would release on Netflix. But the series is already way past Episode 48 so what happened?
On July 7, 2021, it was officially announced that Pokemon Master Journeys Netflix release date would be on September 10, 2021.

Pokemon Master Journeys Part 1 included Pokemon Journeys Episodes 49 through 60 in the overall series. Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 will include episodes 13 through 24 .
Its also been confirmed that Netflix is keeping its exclusive rights for streaming Pokemon Master Journeys internationally. Otherwise, the episodes have been releasing months in advance on Japanese TV stations.

More episodes will release in blocks of 12 episodes approximately every three months for the duration of the season according to the official website. The press release words it differently, stating that the initial release of 12 episodes followed by quarterly releases on Netflix for the duration of the season.
That should mean the Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2 release date will be in late December 2021. If not, itll likely be in early Winter 2022.

Pokemon Master Journeys Episode 13 Story Summary
In the first 24 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Ash and Goh became research assistants at the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City and found themselves traveling the Pokemon world studying and training Pokemon.
The two discovered the wonders of Gigantamax Pokemon, explored Galars Wild Area, and even found some common ground with Team Rocket. And while Ash continued his journey to become a Pokemon Master, Goh ccaught his first Pokemon and discovered that Pokemon battles can be fun.
Episodes 25 through 36 had Ash returning to the Kalos Region with Goh to compete in the Battle Festival. Goh witnessed Mega-Evolution for the first time. They also traveled to the Galar Region to see a World Coronation Series Match.
The biggest development was that Pikachu became jealous of Ash focusing on training Riolu and ran away! Obviously, Ashs bond with Pikachu is restored and strengthened, and Goh desires a Pikachu of his own.

At the beginning of Part 4, Ash had been suffering from a serious losing streak, and his confidence was down in the dumps. But Ash was cheered up when his journey took him back to Alola, and his friends threw a party for him.
Their journey took them to many new exciting locations, with a long Sword and Shield story arc being a highlight. But the climax was when the legendary Clone Pokemon Mewtwo showed up and battled Ash and Goh!

Pokemon Master Journeys: The Series: Stream It Or Skip It
Opening Shot: We see Pokemon trainer Ash and his buddy-for-life Pikachu in profile in the foreground as theyre flanked by whooshing blue effects and the faces of other various and sundry characters. A narrator informs us that Ashs big goal is to battle one of the worlds greatest Pokemon trainers, establishing the highly dramatic arc of this season, one assumes.
The Gist: The setting: a huge laboratory thats also a school on a sprawling campus in Kuchiba City. A moronically adorable Pokemon known as an Eevee dithers and diddlefarts about, falling in love with a passing Slyveon, an evolved, fairy version of the Eevee. Some researchers corral our Eevee protagonist and use multiple methods to get it to evolve, but no dice. Perplexing, one lab-coated person says.
Meanwhile, Goh and Chloe walk to class. They discuss how Chloe has yet to catch a Pokemon pal for life. Goh drops his own Pokemon slav- er, buddy, Sobble, in the park, but it cries and it makes all the other Pokemon within earshot cry, even that Psyduck there and the Jigglypuff over yonder. Just outside the hedge surrounding campus, the total jerkwads from Team Rocket Jessie and James and their Pokemon Meowth and Wobbufet concoct a scheme to dress up as students to steal some Pokemon. That Team Rocket. Always with the underhanded, conniving horsecrap.

Goh Vs Alolan Ninetales
We find out later that Pokémon hunters were trying to take this;Alolan;Ninetales;somewhere but their helicopter crashed in;Mt. Coronet. So now the;Alolan;Ninetales;is in a place where its at least some sort of familiar. Thats why once our heroes find;Alolan;Ninetales;its immediately aggressive towards them using ice beam before using Blizzard. The Blizzard is so strong that both of our heroes pass out in the ice;and;later wake up around a campfire.;
It seems that they were saved by;Tsurugi;who tells Goh that he is disqualified because if he didnt save;him;he and his Pokémon would have died. This is also where they learn why the;Alolan;Ninetales;was so aggressive towards them. Then after the Blizzard has passed over even though;Tsurugi;tells Goh to give up, Goh says that he still has time so hes;gonna;still try to capture this;Alolan;Ninetales;and help take it back to Mount Lanakila. After a bit of searching in a mountain that kind of looks like Mount Lanakila, they find it again. This time he brings out his;Cinderace;to fight him.;;

Pokemon Journeys: The Series Episode 72 is titled Shuffle Panic in the Underground Labyrinth!?. Pokemon Journey is the twenty-third entry of the well-known Pokemon anime series. Thus, it makes sense to call the direct sequel Pokemon Master Journeys considering how Ash is focused on his quest to become a Pokemon Master.
By the time of the Pokemon Season 25 release date in 2022, its likely that Ash will be taking on the Masters Eight, the top-ranked Pokemon masters in the World Coronation series. But well just have to wait and see if Ashs dream comes true. Stay tuned!

How Many Episodes Are Releasing
While we do not know how many total episodes the season will have in the end, it appears Netflix is going with the same strategy as with Pokemon Journeys when it comes to the number of episodes.
When Pokemon Master Journeys The Series hits Netflix this Friday, it will include the first 12 episodes of the season. It worked out that there were exactly 48 episodes last season to where it evened out when split up into four batches, so well see if that stays the same this season.

The latest series of the Pokémon anime, Pokémon Journeys: The Series, will finally be available to stream on Netflix in the UK starting next month, The Pokémon Company has revealed.
The show which is Pokémon’s 23rd animated series has seen a staggered release on Netflix in the US over the past year or so, with episodes being released in chunks at set intervals.
