Every Type’s Strengths And Weaknesses
The more you can remember from the table below, the better, as it will help you know which Pokémon and which moves to use against your opponents. Here’s a quick guide on how to read this table:
- Type: The type of Pokémon/move
- Super Effective: The types of Pokémon the attack type will do double damage against
- Not Very Effective: The types of Pokémon the attack type will do half damage against
- Weak: The types of attacks that will do double damage to a Pokémon of this type
- Immune: Types that this Pokémon type is immune to meaning they take no damage.
Using the information above and the table,e below, you can deduce everything you need to know about how each type interacts with each other. Here’s an example of how this breaks down:
- Bug attacks are super effective against Grass and Psychic-type Pokémon and will deal double damage.
- Bug attacks will do half damage to Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Steel, Fire, Dark-type Pokémon.
- Bug Pokémon are weak to Flying, Rock, Fire, and thus will take double damage from these types of attacks.
- Bug Pokémon are not immune to any damage.
The Mullet Pokmon Mawile
Some of you may be familiar with the sentiment regarding mullets as a fashion choice. It’s all about “business in the front and a party in the back.” Mawile is very much the same if your idea of partying is dodging a massive Venus fly-trap filled with razor-sharp teeth. To each their own.
Mawile is already one of the coolest Pokémon from a design standpoint and is beloved by Game Freak enough to receive a Mega evolution which boosts its attack and defense stats quite high. It also received a Steel/Fairy typing to make it even more of a nuisance.
How Many Pokemon Types Are There
Throughout all of the Pokemon series, as you can see above, there are a total of 18 types of Pokemon. As also shown above, different mon have strengths and weaknesses against various types.

Where To Catch Duraludon In Pokemon Sword And Shield
Duraludon can be found in a number of different locations as overworld encounters in both Pokemon Sword and Shield. These are the Pokemon that spawn once per day in areas outside of tall grass. Interestingly, Duraludon is most often found in areas that are experiencing extreme weather.
The most reliable location to find Duraludon is Route 10, where it can be found as a very rare overworld encounter. Alongside this, it can be found in the Lake of Outrage section of the Wild Area while it is snowstorming. It isnt just snowy areas it can be found though, as it can be found in normal weather in the Giants Seat.
That said, it may be easier to just look for it in Max Raid dens. It can be found as a rare encounter in a variety of raid dens across the Wild Area, making it a relatively common sight both for individuals and through online multiplayer in the Y-Comm.
Players specifically looking for a Gigantamax Duraludon have more limited options. The only raid den where Gigantamax Duralodon can be found is in a Giants Seat raid den. It can be found near the perimeter of the map near a single tree next to a cliff surrounded by blue flowers.
Max Power: Palkia And Yveltal
Palkia finally gains reliable offense when it Dynamaxes. Outsideof Dynamaxing, its strongest Water-type attack is Hydro Pump, which connectswith its opponents less frequently than Palkia Trainers might prefer. However, when it Dynamaxes, Palkia can unleash torrents of reliable Water-type damagewith Max Geyser, which does more damage than Hydro Pump and never misses the opponent.Furthermore, Max Geyser causes it to rain, making each subsequent Max Geyser deal boosted damage.
Palkia is a speedier Pokémon than many Trainers realize. Itcan control Speed for your team and become faster than most Pokémon by usingMax Airstream. This Max Move can be based on Dual Wingbeat, which can be taughtto Palkia by the Move Tutor found in the Master Dojo on the Isle of Armor. Toround out the package, Palkia can take advantage of Max Wyrmwindwhich can bebased on Palkia’s signature Spacial Rend moveto drop opposing Pokémon’sphysical damage. Train your Palkia in Sp. Atk and either Speed or HP formaximum effectiveness.

Pokemon Fighting Type Weaknesses & Counters
Fighting type Pokemon have three main weaknesses: Fairy, Flying, and Psychic.;Youll want to use one of these if youre trying to deal with a martial foe.
That means youll want to use strong Pokemon of those type.
- Fairy: If you have them, use Togekiss, Gardevoir, Granbull, Clefable, or Mr. Mime. A number of these Pokemon double up on the weakness via a combination of the two types. Mr. Mime is both Psychic and Fairy, for example, giving you even more potential super effective moves.
- Flying: You may not have them, but the most powerful Flying type Pokemon are Ho-Oh, Rayquaza, Dragonite, Salamence, and Lugia. If you want to double up, one; of the Fairy types will do just fine like Togekiss or the aforementioned Lugia who is Flying and Psychic.
- Psychic: Mewtwo is obviously king here, but barring that, go for Deoxys, Alakazam, Espeon, or Latios. Crucially, you should avoid Metagross despite how strong it is. The Steel type will leave it vulnerable to Fighting attacks.
Pokemon Sword And Shield The Crown Tundra: How To Catch Registeel
Follow our guide to find this pocket monster!
While many Legendary Pokemon can be encountered and captured by completing Dynamax Adventures, others require you to complete different missions and actions. One of these is Registeel.
Heres everything you need to know about finding, battling, and catching Registeel in the Crown Tundra!
As you make your way through the storyline in The Crown Tundra expansion, Peony will ask you to explore a series of ruins throughout the region in order to discover the Pokemon located inside.
Registeel can be found inside the Iron Ruins.
The Iron Ruins are found in the Giants Bed area of the Crown Tundra. Check out the screenshot below to see their exact location.
When you interact with the door to the Iron Ruins, youll receive a clue that can help you figure out how to open it: Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel.
As reported by Instagram user exclusivespoke, you can open the door by simply standing in front of it and whistling .
Once you head inside the Iron Ruins, walk across the seven circles on the floor to cause them to light up . This will cause the statue at the back of the room to light up as well.
Interact with the statue and select Yes to instantly start your battle against Registeel. This is a normal Pokemon battle, meaning it gives you a chance to capture Registeel!

Crown Tundra Registeel Guide Let Ring The Piercing Note That Will Wake The Giant Of Steel
When you try to enter the Giant’s Bed, you’ll be met with the prompt, “Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel.” All you need to do here is whistle, which you can do by pressing the left analog stick in. Whistle, and the massive doors to the ruins will swing open.
Head on inside and you’ll see a massive statue but be sure to pick up the Flash Cannon TR to the left of the entrance first. All you need to do here is step on all of the circles to light them up. Once you do that, head up to the statue in front of you and interact with it. This will trigger the battle against Registeel.
Registeel is a pure Steel-type, meaning that it’s weak to Fire, Ground, and Fighting moves. Just be careful not to knock it out this isn’t a Dynamax battle, so if Registeel faints, it’s gone forever. You need to make sure you get it down to low HP, but don’t deplete it. Once its HP is in the red, throw as many Ultra Balls as it takes until you finally catch it but don’t use that Master Ball Peony gave you just yet,

How Do They Work
Magnezone was one of many great evolutions added in Diamond and Pearl to older Pokémon. They all received a bit of love with mixed results, but Magnezone was absolutely an incredible addition. Magneton’s older sibling is no longer just a few magnets taped together; it’s an unidentified flying object of immense electrical power.
Magnezone also has the somewhat unique ability to trap other steel-types before blasting them with high-powered electricity. For trainers looking to check those pesky Skarmory, Magnezone is the key to it. And, sure, it doesn’t have Levitate, but who needs defense against ground-types when they can be just be blown up? Not reliably, but Magnezone can do it.
Because The Community Would Riot Lucario
Making a “ranked” list is always difficult no matter the subject matter. The truth is, there are a lot of Steel-type Pokémon that could fill these spots for a variety of reasons. A lot of lists focus on main stats, and while those are definitely important to an extent, we like to look at Pokémon that seem underrated or underappreciated.
That said, we’d be absolutely blasted by the community at large if we didn’t include Lucario on this list. Yes, some of you are already tired of hearing about what is perhaps one of the most mascot-worthy Pokémon but there is no denying that Lucario is a strong Steel/Fighting-type that only grows stronger thanks to its gifted Mega Evolution.
