What Is Our Pokemon Card Zone Upgrade
I told you Id be back with another Zone post! In case you didnt read my last post, which you should ASAP, were going to be taking a closer look at all the different Zone upgrades that we offer with our playmats! Last time, we covered the basics of the various Zones that can be found on our Yugioh inspired mats.
For this post, were switching gears and diving headfirst into the different Zones and piles that are featured on our Pokemon inspired playmats. Those who wish to upgrade and add Pokemon inspired zones to their playmats will have an easier time keeping their cards organized and properly placed during even the most hectic battles!
There are 9 zones that make up a Pokemon inspired game mat, which include:
- 3 Prize Card Zones.
Well go through each Zone together – from left to right!
At the far left of the mat, youll find the three Prize Card Zones. For those that dont know, a Prize Card is a card thats taken by a player for knocking out an opposing players Pokemon. Its in these Zones where six Prize cards are placed face-down at the beginning of each game. Since they are placed face-down, the identities of these prize cards are unknown to both players.
Moving to the bottom right of the mat, we finally arrive at the . As with almost every card game and playmat, the Deck Zone is specifically meant to hold your card deck during gameplay.

How To Find A Lost Sector
At first, players will need to find Lost Sectors on their own. These will be marked by a symbol that looks like two arches with a dot underneath the bottom arch. Once the player has found that symbol they will know they are near a Lost Sector.
Its not a hard and fast rule, but most Lost Sectors seem to force the player underground, so its best to look for a path downward once the symbol has been located. The player should know if they are headed in the right direction if the area designation changes and says Lost Sector Discovered.
Whats cool about the Lost Sectors is that they can offer a new landscape for players to explore, and occasionally they will be unlike anything in the planetary destination seen thus far. For example, a Lost Sector in the European Dead Zone may be found in a run down factory setting, but the dungeon has a lush forest complete with running streams and tons of vegetation. It gives the sense that there is a lot more to Destiny 2s landscapes than in the first game, with plenty of secrets to discover for those who choose to look.

Lugia GX
Lugia from the Lost Thunder expansion has tremendous value courtesy of her numerous attacks. The Lost Purge GX attack of this card is one of the best attacks in the entire TCG. This card can destroy a single opponent in one turn. The destroyed enemy is not sent to the discard pile, but to the lost zone. This is done along with all the associated cards. What does this mean? These cards cannot return to the game under any circumstances.
Dialga GX
Dialga is a well-known Pokemon. It is known from the Forbidden Light expansion. Its strength lies in manipulating constant power. This card gives the trainer the power to immediately play a new turn. This not only gives the player another turn but also gives the player a chance to place additional energies and an attack. In addition, it also skips the opponent’s turn, which can wreak havoc on their strategy.
Mewtwo & Mew GX
The name of this Pokemon scares many players. This card allows you to use attacks from other GX or EX cards on your bench or from your discard pile. So for example, this card can use the attacks of Dialga GX or Lugia GX when you play this card. Checking In On The Lost March Deck After Team Up

When Lost Thunder was being leaked, I was amazed seeing new GXs like Blacephalon, Zeraora, and Alolan Ninetales as well as some powerful non- GXs like Granbull, Giratina, and Naganadel. They would all go on to prosper and help shape the meta as we know it today. But hiding in the Lost Thunder spoiler, we found Natu and Jumpluff that have an attack named Lost March.
This attack does 20 damage for each Pokemon you have in the Lost Zone. This immediately reminded seasoned players of the archetype with a similar name, Night March which did the damage based on Pokemon with the Night March attack in the discard rather than every Pokemon in the Lost Zone. The similarity between the two attacks reminded seasoned players of the success of the Night March deck which was all it took to get people excited for Lost March.
Before Lost Thunders release, Lost March was said to be a potential top tier deck for the new format. With cards coming out to support the archetype like Lost Blender, Professor Elms Lecture, and Skiploom, it was all looking great. But unfortunately, it fell a little short with its consistency which caused the archetype to not do as well as expected.
Now Team Up is out and Lost March gets some new tools! The bump in consistency that Lost March gets from Emolga and the reprint of Pokemon Communication could be all this deck needs to make it a serious threat going into the new Team Up format.

Other Choices Of Cards You Can Use
This is my version of the Absol Prime/Mew Prime deck. I found this to be the best choice as you wont have to start running different types of energy cards, meaning now you have to run energy exchanger to fish out the right kind of energy. However, the others are still great cards to run with Mew Prime.
Machamp SFMachamp gives the deck a great edge against SP decks. Machamps attack, Take Out, does 40 damage for 1 Fighting energy however, if the opponents Pokémon is a basic Pokémon, it is automatically Knocked Out. This is great as all SP Pokémons are basics. However, it requires you to start running Fighting energy.
JumpluffYes, Jumpluff is back! Jumpluff has two great attacks for just 1 grass energy. First attack, Mass Attack, does 10 for every Pokémon in play on both sides of the board. That means you can hit for 120 or 140 with expert belt for just 1 grass energy. Jumpluffs second attack, Leaf Guard, only does a measly 30 damage but reduces any incoming damage by 30 after weakness and resistance. This means that your Mew Prime will be up for another turn to hit hard for a Knock Out. Like Machamp, it also requires you to run Grass energy alongside Psychic energy.
Lost World/lost Zone Decks In Triumphant

The Code Cache And Loot
Eventually, the Lost Sector path will lead players to a group of enemies with a boss. The boss enemy type depends on the Lost Sector, but players can expect to see some of their favorites on display throughout Destiny 2.
The goal for each Lost Sector is to take out that boss enemy. Once done, the player will be rewarded with a Cache Code, which is used to open the chest in the back area of each Lost Sector. In essence, killing the Lost Sector boss unlocks a key to the loot chest for all involved in the encounter.
With at least a dozen Lost Sectors in the European Dead Zone alone, it appears that Destiny 2 will have plenty of side quests for players to venture out on and areas to look for. Previously Bungie had said that Lost Sectors were a one-time endgame experience, but that was not the case when we played. Presumably they could become part of the weekly grind, but it was unclear if the areas reset. Still, from an introductory perspective Lost Sectors feel like a smart reason to keep exploring the worlds Bungie has created.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Adds An Insanely Powerful New Type Of Card
The Pokemon Trading Card Game is getting a super powerful new card type in 2018.
Last month, the Pokemon TCG announced its newest expansion, Ultra Prism, which will come out in the United States and Europe in February 2018. In addition to 10 new GX cards, the set will also have six special “Prism Star” cards, a new type of card with special rules and abilities.
The Pokemon Company unveiled the first Prism Star card, a special “Solgaleo Prism” card, and unveiled the mechanics for the new type of card. Players can only have one of each Prism Star card in their deck and have to put the card in a special “Lost Zone” discard pile when discarded. Once in the Lost Zone, a Prism Star card is permanently removed from play for the rest of the game.
However, unlike GX-cards, players only get one prize card for knocking out a Prism Star card, even though they have abilities and attacks comparable to other types of powerful Pokemon cards. For instance, the Solgaleo Prism card lets players distribute energy from their discard pile equal to the number of Pokemon their opponent has in play. That means that a player can quickly power up Solgaleo and then hit an opponent with an attack that does 160 damage.

How do you use these special cards to your advantage? By using the GX cards strategically, these Pokemon can be of tremendous value to you. But beware! With powerful cards comes great responsibility. Are you knocked out? Your opponent may take 2 prize cards. So pay close attention.The Pokemon GX’s attacks can completely change a game. It’s good to know that you can only use 1 per game. This is indicated by the GX marker. When you play a Pokemon from this series, you turn this marker over. That’s how you know that your turn to play these GX cards is over. You’ll have to wait until your next game to be able to attack again with one of your Pokémon GX.
