Let’s Go Pokemon

Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu Vs Eevee Exclusive Pokemon

New! Finally Play Pokemon Let’s go Unity Game On Android Update! Of 2022

As has been the case with opposing Pokemon titles ever since the original Red and Blue rivalry that pitted siblings against each other in the mid 90s, Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu vs Eevee is largely defined by the exclusive Pokemon each game offers.

As it stands, Oddish, Sandshrew, and Growlithe have been confirmed to only appear in Lets Go Pikachu, while Bellsprout, Vulpix, and Meowth will only be available in Lets Go Eevee. This was the original Gen 1 split, so the game is staying true to its Kanto origins. Heres the full split by Pokemon family:

Letting Go Of Let’s Go

The only question left to answer then is whether players will see a game like Pokemon Let’s Go Pichu coming to the Switch or not. Some indicators that the series still lingers on comes from small details like the continued production and sale of the PokeBall Plus controllers that were introduced alongside Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, but it seems hopes were dashed when in 2019 for another Let’s Go-style game. However, that does leave the door open for a new entry in the far future.

Given that Game Freak weathers criticism from fans for releasing new Pokemon games too quickly, a possible solution to this would be a “new” game based on an old title. Not only could this help maintain Game Freak’s bottom line, owing to Let’s Go‘scommercial success, but it would still deliver a Pokemon game that fans will love without reinventing the wheel. A new Let’s Go game fits the bill perfectly, as it could help stave off future remakes catching up to the current generation while still providing a classic remake to new audiences.

Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are available now on the Nintendo Switch.

Shiny Hunting Spot Them In The Overworld

Shiny Pokémon, or alternately colored Pokémon, have been around since Pokémon Gold and Silver, but its been a little more recently that the fan base really started to understand what made these encounters more likely. In the Lets Go games, if players catch 25+ of the same Pokémon in a row, their chances of getting shiny Pokémon goes up significantly.

Additionally, this is currently the only game that allows you to tell if a Pokémon is shiny in the overworld. Granted, catching shinies can still take hours, but its nice being able to do it a little easier with Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! Make sure you transfer them into Pokémon Home once youve acquired them.

Prepare For Mega Evolution

Many Pokémon can evolve into new Pokémon, but were you aware that there is also the Evolution that transcends Evolution? Its called Mega Evolution, and its a way to gain power beyond even what normal Evolution would grant. The might of Mega Evolution momentarily unleashes the energy within a Pokémon, and it can only be accomplished through a strong bond between a Pokémon and its Trainer.

In Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Lets Go, Eevee!, you can Mega Evolve certain Pokémon once per battle if you have a Key Stone and a Mega Stone that corresponds to that specific Pokémon. Deciding which Pokémon to Mega Evolveâand whenâwill be a critical factor in deciding who wins a battle.

Lets take a look at some of the Pokémon youll be able to Mega Evolve in the game.

Let’s Go Sends Your Pokemon To Auto Battle And Collect Items

After the short picnic, I tried out the new Lets Go! feature Tossing out a Poke Ball will release your partys lead, who will engage in an Auto Battle with wild Pokemon nearby, or pick up any nearby items, which classically appear as Poke Balls on the ground. Your Pokemon stick near you as you explore, even if youre mounted on your Legendary Pokemon companion, with notifications of its escapades appearing in the top right of the screen.

The experience earned from an Auto-Battle is still spread across the entire party, but is largely decreased compared to what youd earn from a normal wild Pokemon battle. This is honestly a relief – if Auto Battles granted the same amount of XP as a normal battle, Id probably accidentally power level, especially since Ill be using Auto Battles as a way to collect Pokemon Materials dropped by defeated Wild Pokemon.

Im still concerned about what happens if you encounter a Shiny Pokemon with Auto Battle enabled – will your Pokemon automatically unalive it if you dont notice? Oof. Heres hoping theres a built-in system to prevent that, but at least I know you can call your Pokemon back at will.

Single-player, multiplayer

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are 2018 remakes of the 1998 Game Boyrole-playing video gamePokémon Yellow. They were developed by Game Freak and jointly published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Announced in May 2018, Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on 16 November 2018. The games are part of the seventh generation of the Pokémon video game series and are the first main series installments to be released for a home game console. They feature connectivity with the mobile game Pokémon Go and support an optional controller, the Poké Ball Plus.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! were first announced at a Japanese press conference in May 2018, with the intention for the games to bring in newcomers to the series as well as cater to old fans. They were also meant to appeal to a younger audience for this reason, the games incorporate elements from the anime, similarly to Pokémon Yellow. They received generally favorable reviews from critics, with praise directed to the accessibility and charm, whilst criticism was directed towards the motion controls. The games have combined worldwide sales of over 14 million as of December 2021, making them one of the best-selling games for the system.

Let’s Go : How It Should Look And Work

With Let’s Go refined to just one game and not two, this spin-off series can focus on unifying the gameplay experience of previous Pokemon games and reimagine them as an old adventure with a new twist. For example, presuming that the next Let’s Go game would visit Johto, then it should bring together not just Gold and Silver, but Crystal too, which would improve its storyline, including the Ruins of Alph and Unown subplots as well as an improved story behind the three legendary dogs, assuming that Suicune wouldn’t pull focus.

For the game’s mechanics, it actually appears to be a great idea to continue to trend of blending the Let’s Go series with Pokemon GO, as this help draw in new players and expand Pokemon’s multimedia platform. Some small quality of life changes would need to be made, such as an improved method of obtaining money, since in-game costs are often sunk into PokeBalls, but it wouldn’t need to be an overhaul in terms of design, as Pikachu and Eevee generally performed well for the experience they intended to deliver.
