What Happened After You’ve Submitted A Pokstop Nomination In Pokmon Go

*18,250 FREE POKÉCOINS* PER YEAR! DOES 50 FREE GYM COINS PER DAY ACTUALLY MATTER? | Pokémon GO

You’ll receive a confirmation email once you’ve successfully submitted a PokéStop nomination.

Your nomination will then be reviewed by a community of nomination reviewers chosen by Niantic. At launch this was a dedicated team, but as time went on, this shifted to the official Niantic Wayfarer community to help process applications.

Niantic puts no guarantee on when you’ll hear about whether your nomination has been successful or not. Depending on the level of review required and the number of nominations they receive, it could be anything from several weeks to a couple of months.

If you’re nomination is accepted, then you will receive a congratulations email. It should be noted, however, that not all PokéStop nominations, even the eligible ones, will appear live in Pokémon Go. Your nomination could, however, appear in other Niantic games, such as Ingress and Harry Potter Wizards Unite.

In our experience, we’ve waited a week or two for a successful nomination, and sometimes don’t hear back if it was rejected – however, this might be because it is folded into a similar PokéStop nomination from another player that was either accepted or denied.

Either way – it’s exciting to know you’re fleshing out the game and offering new points of interest for other players to explore. Fingers crossed your nomination is successful!

What Happens If Your Pokmon Stays In A Gym For 24 Hours

You earn free PokéCoins for keeping your Pokémon on Gyms. The longer the Pokémon stay on the Gym, the more PokéCoins you earn. Youll receive PokéCoins only after your Pokémon returns from the Gym, and youll receive an in-game notification with the amount of PokéCoins earned.

How Do I Take Over A Gym

To take over a gym you have to reduce its prestige to zero by defeating its inhabitants. One Pokémon in there will be the boss, which when defeated will lower the prestige by the greatest amount. Depending on the level you might have to defeat them all more than once.

You dont have to attack a gym alone; multiple people can attack a gym at once and they dont have to all be on the same team either. You also dont have to win all battles to reduce the gyms prestige. You will fight each defending Pokémon in order until either you beat them all, your squad of six Pokémon have all been knocked out, or you run for the hills.

One of the delights of Pokémon GO is finding Pokémon in the real worldwalking around, discovering new places, meeting up with groups of friends to raid or battle together. At their core, all of Niantics games are built around the ideas of exploration, exercise, and playing with friends.

As we said last month, how we all play changed a lot in the past 15 months. With the onset of the global pandemic, we realized that we had to change the model for all of our games. We could no longer take going outside and meeting people for granted.

We learned a lot. Thank you for coming along with us as we continue to navigate through this together.

How To Get Pokecoins In Pokemon Go

The main way players earn PokeCoins in-game is by having their Pokemon stay at gyms that their team has taken over. If players can’t find a gym occupied by their team, players will have to challenge one and take it over themselves.

When players have their Pokemon in a gym, they will earn one PokeCoin every ten minutes it stays there. This, however, will cap at 50 coins, meaning that players can’t get large sums from one gym. In addition to this, players will only get the PokeCoins from their Pokemon after being defeated and forced out of the Pokemon gym.

The 50 coin limit also spans multiple Pokemon per day, so if two Pokemon have reached the limit and are kicked out the same day, players will only get 50 coins. However, if one of the two Pokemon is kicked out one day and the second Pokemon is kicked out the second day, the players will get 100 coins since the cap refreshes at midnight in players’ local times.

Because of how players earn PokeCoins through gyms, it is wise to try and have a Pokemon in many different gyms in different locations. This can help make sure that players at least reach the 50 coin limit and;space out the possible time it will take for each Pokemon to be kicked out.

If players still want more PokeCoins, it is possible to directly purchase them as previously stated. The prices for them are the following:

100 PokeCoins – $0.99 USD

Earning Items At Gyms

BEST GYM DEFENDERS – STACK YOUR GYMS TO LAST in 2021 – DEFENDER LIST | Pokémon GO

While not originally the case, you can now earn items from gyms. When visiting a gym, you’ll see a disc that looks similar to Pokestop in the top left. Tap it and then you’ll be able to spin it just as you would a Pokestop. The amount of items earned will vary depending on a few factors:

  • Default: 2-3 items
  • If your team owns the gyms: 1-2 additional items
  • Bronze badge: 1 additional item
  • Silver badge: 2 additional items
  • Gold badge: 3 additional items

Furthermore, gym rewards tend to skew towards combat items such as potions and revives more than regular Pokestops.

Lastly, a Pokemon Go Plus will spin a gym’s disc, though this was initially not the case when gym discs were first introduced.

How Do I Earn Free Coins From Gyms

If your Pokémon is in a gym, you can grab up to 50 coins per day. Your Pokémon will earn six coins per hour its in a gym, but youll only see those coins once your Pokémon gets defeated and returns home.

Even if you have multiple Pokémon in gyms, you wont be able to earn more than 50 coins a day. We recommend putting your Pokémon in gyms that arent in extremely populated places, as this will help you rake in more coins. However, you dont want to put your Pokémon in a gym in a completely desolate area, or else itll never get kicked out.

Trade Lots Of Pokemon To Get Lucky Ones

From now on, when you trade Pokemon, there’s a chance for them to become Lucky. That means they require less Stardust to power up than regular Pokemon. This makes them easier to train up to become powerful. Every trade won’t result in a lucky Pokemon, but there’s always a chance to get one, so there’s no better time than now to add a friend and try your luck.

How Do I Make My Pokmon Better For Battle

As a general rule of thumb, you want to make sure your Pokémon have at least a 100CP advantage over those you meet in battle, with the greater the difference the better.

There are only two ways to improve the Pokémon you already have, and thats by either evolving them with evolution candies or to power them up with both evolution candies and stardust. Not every Pokémon is created equal, so choose the strongest for the current power level you have before beefing them up.

You collect evolution candies by capturing and transferring Pokémon to Professor Willow and are specific to the species that you caught. Stardust is given to you when you capture Pokémon but can be used across species.

The higher the level of your trainer, the more powerful Pokémon you are likely to come across, so it can often be prudent to wait until you level up your trainer before sinking a load of candy and stardust into your Pokémon.

How Do You Become A Gym Leader In Pokémon GO?

Turns out, your unevolved ‘Mon needs to have a minimum amount of CP before it can evolve. Refer to the handy chart above to find what those numbers are! It’s not exact, however. Take Over Gyms As A Team

Assembling a squad of teammates to take over Pokemon Gyms isn’t just as fun as it sounds – it also has immense benefits and will likely be the difference between holding a Gym for a day and potentially holding it for a week. Bringing your own squad of eight teammates will ensure both that the Gym you takeover is immediately at its maximum level and that the Pokemon helping to hold it are all strong enough to pull their weight when it comes under attack.

Try to get as close to eight teammates as possible, and ensure that all of the Pokemon put in the Gym are at least CP 1000 or higher. Keep in mind that the 1000 CP baseline is just a loose guideline – as;Pokemon GO players participate in the game more and increase their levels, this will fluctuate and likely need to be higher eventually.

What Are Raid Battles Raid Tiers And How Do Raids Work

Raids see trainers team up with other nearby players to take down “extremely powerful Pokémon” known as Raid Bosses under a time limit. These can have a massive amount of CP, up to 10 times as powerful as regular creatures, requiring a group to stand a chance of winning.

Some Raid encounters will be easier than others. Each one is graded from one to five – one could be a Magikarp, four has you face off against many of the best Pokémon such as Tyranitar and Snorlax, and five takes you up against a Legendary.

Each Raid Boss fits into one of four tiers, one being the easiest and five the most challenging, with each tier being distinguished by egg colour. This also includes Mega Raids, which allow you to battle the Mega Evolutions of certain Pokémon and will reward you with Mega Energy.

Originally there were five raid tiers in Pokémon Go, but, with the introduction of Mega Evolution and Mega Raids, both the two-star and four-star raids were removed. Without effecting the difficulty, the rewards for two-star raids were merged with one-star raids and the same with four-star to three-star.

Once you have completed the Raid, you can then catch the creature using Premier Balls. You only have a certain amount, so make every throw count!

Plus, there are invite-only Raids, named EX Raids, which see another type of very exclusive creature spawn. There are a number of hidden mechanics behind joining one, so visit the link to read more about it.

Understand What Makes A Good Gym

The first step in locking down a Gym is understanding what’s important in defending it.;Pokemon GO;is a game that;does not necessarily agree with the old adage of “the best defense is a good offense” – players will want to emphasize having very defensive Pokemon at the top levels of the Gym, because trainers who have to slog their way through multiple stages of battles will likely have a much harder time bringing down a Pokemon that can withstand multiple hits with ease. Remember – Pokemon in the Gym start fresh whenever an opponent comes to battle them, but the opponent’s Pokemon don’t have the luxury of self-healing in between fights.

Pokmon Go Pokmon Stay: Popular Mobile Game Adapts To The Pandemic

Guide: How to Keep All Your Gyms Yours in Pokémon GO – Pokémon GO Gym Defence Guide

In a pandemic, when gathering large groups of people together could prove disastrously hazardous to public health, and the act of wandering your city is discouraged, how does a game based on those mechanics survive?

It evolves.

Pokémon Go is a game played while you walk around using a phone app to collect little monsters that exist in a digital realm laid over your actual city like an invisible map. The map “augments” the reality of real places by turning them into stops that players “spin” to collect monsters or monster eggs.

You learn where every piece of public art is in your city because that is where you will find a Bulbasaur or collect potions to heal your little monsters.

A solitary walker can play Pokémon Go, but as I explained here in December 2019, the social aspects of the game truly bring it to life.

In early March as stay-at-home orders were issued around the world, Niantic alerted trainers about changes in the game. The Community Day event planned for March was postponed indefinitely thus removing the incentive for trainers to gather in what tend to be sizable numbers. Also, the distance a trainer had to walk to hatch an egg one of the best methods for getting pokémon that don’t commonly appear in your area was cut in half.

Combined with an in-game mechanic called “Adventure Sync,” which tracks players’ steps to award them distance credit even when the app isn’t open, the changes allowed trainers to hatch eggs by walking near — or within — their homes.

How Raid Passes And Raid Rewards Work In Pokmon Go

Players can receive one free Raid Pass per day from spinning the Gym’s photo disc . You can ‘bank’ one of these free Passes if you don’t use it until the next day to hold a maximum of two at one time.

If you want to Raid more than that in a single day, then Premium Raid Passes or Remote Raid Passes must be purchased from the in-game shop for 100 PokeCoins each, or at a discount as part of a bundle.

As of January 2020, Premium Raid Passes also allow you to gain entry to the Go Battle League, which also provides premium rewards.

As well as these, there are also EX Raid Passes, which are rewarded to players who complete a standard Raid at the same gym an EX Raid will appear at soon after. These allow access to an EX Raid, which have even more elusive creatures to face off against, such as Mewtwo and Gen 3’s Deoxys.
