Where To Catch Vulpix And Ninetails In Pokemon Sword & Shield
Luckily for Sword & Shield players, Vulpix and Growlithe are no longer version-exclusive. Like its fellow gen 1 Pokemon, Vulpix can be caught in a ton of different locations, including the Rolling Fields, Dappled Grave, Watchtower Ruins, East Lake Axewell, West Lake Axewell, Axew’s Eye, South Lake Miloch, Giant’s Seat, North Lake Miloch, Route 3, the Dusty Bowl, and Hammerlocke Hills. That’s right, all the same locations as Growlithe! Also in the exact same manner, Vulpix spawns during intense sun and is best caught in the Rolling Fields. There is also a special way to guarantee to catch a Vulpix via the gym challenge at Motostoke. If the player defeats that Vulpix by accident, their chance is lost unless they reload.
Catching a Ninetails in the wild is Sword Exclusive. Like Arcanine, one can sometimes be found around the Lake of Outrage during Intense Sun or roaming around in the Wild Area.
Where To Catch Eevee And Flareon In Pokemon Sword & Shield
While Eeveelutions can be hunted down in the Wild later on in the game, Sword & Shield does have a place where wild Eevee roam pretty early on. These wild Eevee can be found in the golden fields of Route 4. Players should be patient though, as their spawn rate is a little low when compared to those of the other wild Pokemon in that area. Players will therefore likely find a ton of Galarian Meowth, Yampers, and Pumpkaboos before finding an Eevee.
For those who’d rather wait and catch a Flareon, they can sometimes be found in the over-world at the Lake of Outrage when the weather is Intense Sun.
Pokmon Sword And Shield: Where To Find Evolution Stones
Get stoned.
Pokémon Sword and Shield maintains the series tradition of including Evolution Stones to evolve certain Pokémon. The most famous example of this is Pikachu evolving into Raichu via a Thunder Stone, but where do you find the Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield if you want to do it?
There are a few ways of finding Evolution Stones, which includes finding them hidden away across the world of Galar. The easiest method, though, is to head to the northeast of the Wild Area, just before you reach Hammerlocke.
You should see a small island separated by water from the mainland of the Wild Area. To get there, you will need to have upgraded your Rotom Bike to travel on water.
Travel across the water on your Rotom Bike and onto the island and you should see a collection of upwards rocks that look like a homage to Stonehenge.
Behind each of these rocks, you will find a Evolution Stone.
Whats good about this is that they sporadically regenerate, which means that you can keep returning over time to collect more.
The second method is all based on luck and may not give you every single Evolution Stone you need, but its a good way of farming certain ones up.
Staying in the Wild Area, travel to the nursery. You should see a pair of hikers known as the Digging Duo nearby.
There is another way to get Evolution Stones, but this one feels like even shorter odds than relying on the Digging Duo.

How To Get A Fire Stone In Pokemon Sword And Shield
To find the Fire Stone head over to the Lake of Outrage in the Pokemon Sword and Shield Wild Area, where theres a circle of rocks to find across a small body of water next to a Watt Trader. You need the Rotom Bike from Route 9 to get here. Once youre able to make it, cross the water and collect the shiny item under every stone, which should give you eight of the possible evolutionary stones. These stones respawn on an intermittent basis, so if you dont get the one you want, come back later.
Theres also a specific location for the Fire Stone. If you head to the right of Motostoke in the Wild Area and cross the bridge, you can see to your left a few pipes next to the corner of a brick wall, with a Pokeball sitting next to them. Pick it up to grab an easy Fire Stone.
Theres also the Digging Duo in the Bridge Field part of the Wild Area who will conduct a bit of archaeology to summon evolutionary stones for players who have enough Watts. Its worth a try if you need another one.

Hidden Evolution Stones In The Wild Area In Pokmon Sword And Shield Explained
The best place to find hidden Evolution Stones, however, is the Wild Area. Not only will you be able to find a wide variety of stones, but, if the stone you find is a hidden item, there’s also a slim chance that it will reappear.
Which hidden items reappear in the Wild Area appears to be completely random. This means that, if you’re looking for a specific hidden stone, then try to remember its location and revisit every couple of days.
You never know – you might get lucky!
One of the easiest places to find hidden Evolution Stones in the Wild Area is at the Lake of Outrage.
Once you have the ability to ride your Rotom Bike on water, which is unlocked by helping the Doctor on Route Nine, you’ll be able to cross the lake of Lake of Outrage.
After you reach land again, you’ll be able to find a variety of Evolution Stones all hidden on the ground, including stones like the Water Stone and Dusk Stone.

How To Get Evolution Stones From Completing Pok Jobs In Pokmon Sword And Shield
The easiest way to find Evolution Stones in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to complete Poké Jobs.
:: Pokémon Sword and Shield walkthrough and guide
Once you’ve earned the Water Badge, the second gym badge in both games, you’ll be able to access the third tier of Poké Jobs. From this tier onwards, if your Pokémon do a great job at their assigned job, then you may be rewarded with an Evolution Stone.
You see the current Poké Job listings and assign Pokémon to them by using the PC in any Pokémon Centre.
Carefully read the summary of each Poké Job to ensure your Pokémon do a great job, because this will give you a hint about which type of Pokémon to pick.
If a job says that the Pokémon must be good with fire, for example, then you need to pick a selection of fire-type Pokémon.
Sending the maximum amount of Pokémon that the job requires will also increase your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone.
The amount of time you assign your Pokémon to these jobs, however, won’t affect your chances of receiving an Evolution Stone. Instead, this only affects the amount of EXP you receive.

All 10 of the main stones are available in one spot and they actually respawn after 24 hours just like most of the Strong Spawn overworld Pokémondothough they wont all appear at the same time. That single location is a group of rock pillars in the Lake of Outrage, so youll have to have the Rotom Bike surfing upgrade to get there.
