How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon
In the regular Pokemon titles, Eevee evolves into Sylveon by having its friendship level maxed out. Once that condition has been met, Eevee will need to have a Fairy-type move under its belt. Then and only then will it evolve into a Sylveon after leveling up once. As for how the Pokemon will evolve in Pokemon GO has yet to be seen. Fortunately, Eevee is very common and has been around since day one, so most players have entire teams of Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, but if youre having trouble getting the one you want, you can always trade another player.
How To Get Glaceon And Leafeon During Community Day
Eevees Leaf and Ice-type evolutions both have their standard methods of evolutions during the event.
Players will need to use a Mossy Lure Module on a Pokestop and evolve Eevee within the radius to get a Leafeon or repeat the trick with a Glacial Lure Module to get a Glaceon.
While these items do cost, Niantic has confirmed that there will be some Research during Community Day that rewards a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module.

If youve already used the nickname trick, and want to get another Umbreon or Espeon, these two Eeveelutions can also be controlled in Pokémon Go. If you just hit the Evolve button, you will get either Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon completely at random. To get Umbreon or Espeon, you need to raise your Buddy Pokémons Friendship level:
You can swap out Eevee for another Buddy, but youll have to swap Eevee back to being your Buddy before you try to evolve Umbreon or Espeon.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokmon Go
Sylveon was finally released into Pokémon Go on May 25th, 2021 as part of the Luminous Legends Y event.
Though it can only be used once, the easiest way to evolve an Eevee into Sylveon is to change its nickname to Kira and ensure you have at least 25 Eevee Candy.
Before you press evolve, however, make sure the silhouette for Sylveon is on the evolve button – if it’s not then you’re Eevee may evolve into a different Eeveelution.
If this does occur for the you, it can be easily fixed by closing Pokémon Go and opening it again.
Once you’ve used the name trick, Eevee can be evolved into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts with it, which means your chosen Eevee needs to be at Great Buddy Level. Swapping buddies will not reset your progress towards Sylveon, so feel free to change your Buddy Pokémon freely.
You’ll also still need 25 Eevee Candy.
This evolution method is in keeping with how you must have a high friendship level with an Eevee, along with it knowing a fairy-type move, if you wish to evolve it into a Sylveon in the main-line series.

Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon
Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.
Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.
Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .
Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

Is Sylveon Coming To Pokemon Go This Week
Niantic has recently revealed their next loading screen image for the Pokemon Go app, and eagle-eyed fans have spotted a familiar shadow lingering in the background: the Kalos regions Sylveon!
Revealed back in 2013, Sylveon is one of eight of Eevees final evolutions and was revealed to be a Fairy-type, the first new Pokemon type to be revealed in thirteen years since Pokemon Gold and Silvers introduction to Dark and Steel-type Pokemon. Sylveon made its first appearance in Pokemon X and Y, which took place in the Parisian-inspired Kalos region, and quickly became a favorite powerhouse against the infamous Dragon-type Pokemon who were previously known to be weak only to Ice-type Pokemon and fellow Dragon-type Pokemon.
To get Sylveon, trainers had to level up their Eevee after having at least two levels of Affection with it and teaching it a Fairy-type move. In Generation VIII, obtaining a Sylveon required leveling Eevee up during the day while it had a high friendship and knowing at least one Fairy-type move. While details on how to obtain Sylveon in Pokemon Go have not yet been revealed, we can assume that Eevee will need to know a Fairy-type move and, based on its similarity in evolving to an Espeon or Umbreon, be walked with for at least 10 km. For the first Sylveon, perhaps a nickname could cause Eevee to evolve into Sylveon for free, as was the pattern with previous Eeveelutions.

Luminous Legends Part 2
Part 2 will feature Houdour, Carvanha, Spritzee, Swirlix, Ralts, Eevee and more as wild catches. The 7KM eggs you pick up during this event will include one of the following: Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Azurill, Spritzee, or Swirlix.
Raid battles during Part 2 will be heavy on the Eevee. Youll find Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, and Umbreon appearing in 3-star raid battles.
Sylveon-inspired avatar items will appear during Part 2 in the in-game shop. You will be able to evolve an Eevee into Sylveon by keeping an Eevee as a Buddy Pokemon and earning a requisite amount of hearts. Once you get enough hearts, the evolve button silhouette will turn to Sylveon, and evolution should work!
NOTE: Its very likely the name trick will work with Eevee once Sylveon is activated, too. If you want to try your luck before this is verified, name your Eevee Kira and tap the evolve button. And good luck to you!

They appear to be planning on turning more Pokémon into Shadow Pokémon during the first week of the Luminous Legends Y event, so well need your help to save those Shadow Pokémon! Were also receiving reports that some Team GO Rocket Grunts will be changing up their battle strategies. You might encounter some that specialize in different Pokémon types than in the past, and multiple Team GO Rocket Grunts may even challenge you at once!
