Another way to get a dragon scale is to spin a particular Pokestop 7 days consecutively in order to get the desired streak bonus. While this won’t promise you a dragon scale, it does offer the possibility in addition to other evolutionary items like the Sun Stone, Upgrade, Sinnoh Stone, Unova Stone, Metal Coat, and King’s Rock.

How To Get Dragon Scale Pokemon Bdsp
To get a Dragon Scale in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, youre going to have to capture a Pokemon that has the item on it. That, or use the Thief move to steal it instead. First off, though, youll have to unlock the National Dex, aka beat the Elite Four and see all 150 Sinnoh Pokemon, then go back to Rowans lab. After that, youre on the hunt for either a Horsea, Seadra, Dratini, or Dragonair. When it comes to Dratini, we wrote a whole guide about it, which you can check out on this link. As for Horsea and Seadra, which are a bit easier to hunt down, were gonna cover that right now.
In order to find Horsea or Seadra to get the Dragon Scale in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, head east from the Survival Area and onto Route 226. Use Rock Climb to get up, then go right and climb down to the platform below. Go right to the next climbable area and go up, then right again, then down once more. From there, keep going right and through the grass. Soon enough, youll find yourself at the edge of the water. All thats left to do is fish for a Horsea or Seadra until you encounter one with the Dragon Scale. Remember, you can either capture them or use the Thief move if any of your Pokemon have it.
How Do You Get Evolution Items On Pokemon Go
In Pokemon Go, evolution items are used in combination with candy to evolve certain Pokemon. For instance, Dragon Scale is used to evolve Seadra into Kingdra. Celebi is a Psychic- Grass-type Pokémon that has tons of potential but lacks the moveset pool to really make a dent. Confusion, which gets STAB is better than charge beam as a fast move. Celebis current lack of any Grass-type Fast or Charge moves means it offers nothing as a Grass attacker at the moment. That could change any time Pokémon Go wants it to, though.

How To Evolve Seadra Into Kingdra Using The Pokemon Go Dragon Scale Item
Pokemon Go does its best to remain loyal to the vision of the original Pokemon games, and while evolving Seadra into Kingdra required you to trade it with another player in those games, there’s at least one aspect of its evolution process that does carry over to Pokemon Go: The Dragon Scale evolution item.
Pokemon Go removes the trading requirement since that feature isn’t in the game, so all you need is the correct amount of Horsea Candy and the Dragon Scale. When you’ve got both in your possession – 100 Seadra Candy and 1 Dragon Scale – you’ll be able to evolve Seadra into Kingdra from the same menu and in the same way that you’re already used to. Simple!
What Does It Do
The Dragon Scale item, as mentioned above, is used for precisely one thing. Evolving a Pokemon.

That Pokemon, specifically, is Seadra. If you gather 100 Horsea candies and have a Dragon scale to hand, youll be able to evolve your Seadra into a Kingdra.
Is it worth doing? Well the 100 candies might take some effort to earn, unless youre constantly surrounded by Horsea.
Though with that said, as Dragon Scales only have the one purpose right now, you probably have one or two of them spare so if you can gather the candies for the evolution, you should be able to pull it off.
As for whether the evolution is worth it, Kingdra can reach a CP rating of 2641 at player level 40, without the best buddy boost. Thats a pretty solid water/dragon dual-type.

How To Get A Dragon Scale In Pokemon Go
A Dragon Scale can be acquired by spinning Pokéstops. Evolution items like Dragon Scales have a 1% drop rate per spin.
By default, Pokémon Go players have a measly chance of getting Dragon Scales. However, completing a seven-day Pokéstop streak can earn you a random evolution item. This will ensure that you get one of the seven special items a week, giving you considerably better odds than spamming Pokéstops all day.
Its going to be a long Pokemon Go grind but using a bit of patience and strategy can quickly get you the Dragon Scale your Seadra needs.
How To Get The Dragon Scale
The Dragon Scale is obtained from spinning Pokestops and Gyms.There is a very low drop chance of around 1% per spin to receivea Dragon Scale or any of the other evolution item, and thereis an equal chance of obtaining each of the 5 currently available items.
There’s no way to ensure that the Dragon Scale will drop,but with only 4 other items, there’s a greater than 50% chancethat you’ll receive one once you’ve spun over 250 Pokéstops.
The 7th day streak bonus gives you a very high chance of obtainingone of the evolution item, but it’s not believed to be guaranteed.

How To Get A Dragon Scale
Getting a Dragon Scale in Pokemon Go is where things get difficult its even harder, in fact, than getting together 100 Horsea Candy since you can now use the buddy Pokemon system to earn yourself extra candy as you walk around.
Getting the Dragon Scale isnt so easy, especially since Pokemon Go doesnt have it available as an easy-to-buy item from a shop or as a reward from an NPC like the main games. Instead its all down to luck: Dragon Scales drop at random from Pokestops.
There is a little twist to this, however. In order to guarantee an evolution stone drop you need to keep up your Pokestop Daily Bonus Streak swipe a Pokestop every day and your streak will continue, and on the seventh day youll definitely get an Evolution item.
There are admittedly a number of these such as the Sun Stone, Kings Rock, Metal Coat and so on. On this you can only cross your fingers and hope you get lucky and get the Dragon Scale but honestly, all of these items are useful for evolving to Pokemon such as Bellossom, Slowking and Scizor among others.
Hold on to any evolution stones you pick up even if you dont or cant use them right away theyre rare, and theyre worth spending some inventory space on.

How To Get Heart Scale In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee
To get the Heart Scale item in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee, you first have to go to Cerulean City. Its in the top of the map, to the right of Mt Moon . Once in Cerulean City, look for the Bike Maniac near the city entrance. This place has a couple of bikes to the left of his building plus, the sign above has a bike wheel on it. You also have a sign left of the door that reads Home of the Bike Maniac if you interact with it.
Go inside, and ask the guy about all three different types of bikes. You do so by interacting with each of the three types of bikes red, blue, and green. When he asks if you wnat to know more about each type, say Yes. Hell then give you five Heart Scales.
If you go to the right of the Bike Maniac, youll come across a fountain. If you inspect it, youll have the option to throw in either 50 or 500 coins inside. We threw in fifty, for example. After that, you have to play with your Pokemon, and youll get one Heart Scale. We werent able to throw money in the fountain twice to check what happens when you give 500, but well update this guide in case we find out something more.

This weeks Spotlight Hour in Pokémon Go has showered the world with Horseas and Seadra, which are perfect for evolving into Kingdra assuming you can find a Dragon Scale.
Evolving Horsea all the way to Kingdra is no mean feat. Pokémon Go makes it very challenging, asking first for 25 Horsea Candies to evolve to Seadra, then another 100 candies plus a Dragon Scale to evolve to Kingdra.
Thankfully, Pokémon caught during Spotlight Hour yield twice as many candies as normal, meaning that one half of evolving Horsea into Seadra and the Kingdra is easy. But how to get a Dragon Scale?

You can also get them in gifts, although this is again quite a slim chance. Alternatively Completing the special research line, A Ripple in Time, will earn you one.
Pokemon GO Dragon Scale Only Used For One Pokemon
Interestingly, this special evolutionary item is only used with one evolution. If you want to use a Dragon Scale, youll need a Seadra. Seadra evolves from Horsea, but you might be able to catch one if youre lucky.
When you do, youll need to combine the Dragon Scale with 100 Horsea Candies if you want to evolve Seadra into a Kingdra. You earn these candies in the traditional way Either you catch lots of Horsea with berries or you walk around with a Horsea as your Buddy Pokemon. You can also transfer spare Horsea to the Professor for candies Yknow, because youll probably have quite a few spare. Just make sure you check stats and appraise before you decide which Seadra to evolve!

What Are The Evolution Items
Before Gen 2 was released, all you needed to evolve a pocket monster was collect enough candies. Now, for some special Pokemon, you need to collect the candies and an evolution item.
Here are the evolution items and how to identify them:
- Sun stone is a red-and-orange rock with points sticking out of the sides.
- Kings rock looks like a yellow castle with broken walls.
- Metal coat looks like two silver, round batteries stacked on top of each other.
- Dragon scale is an oval with blue and yellow markings.
- Upgrade item looks kind of like a long, yellow taser.

The Dragon Scale is one of the new Evolution Items that can be used in conjunction with Pokemon Candy to evolve some of the Gen 1 Pokemon to new Gen 2 evolutions.
Initially there were rumors indicating that Evolution Items were guaranteed rewards for 7-day Pokestop streaks, but that has been discredited. Evolution items are incredibly rare and have less than a 1% chance of being found at Pokestops.
However, as of an app update in late March 2017 you are now guaranteed an Evolution Item for a 7-day Pokestop streak.
Currently, the applicable Pokemon for this item is Seadra, who can be evolved into Kingdra using a Dragon Scale and 100 Horsea Pokemon Candy.
How To Evolve A Seadra To A Kingdra In Pokmon Go
To get a Kingdra in the main series Pokémon games, you had to go through a somewhat laborious process. In addition to having to find a Dragon Scale, you had to find a friend or someone who was willing to trade a Seadra with you while that Pokémon holds a Dragon Scale.
On the other hand, this process is a little simpler in Pokémon Go. You still need a considerable amount of Candy, but after obtaining these items you only have to find a Dragon Scale, and then you evolve Seadra normally, just as you would with other Pokémon that evolve through Candy.
