When strictly considering CP, the strongest Eeveelution in Pokemon GO is Espeon. Espeon has the highest CP ceiling of any Eeveelution, and is capable of hitting 3,170 when the trainer hits level 40. Though Espeon is strong, it doesnt quite run away with the category.

Almost every Eeveelution hits a high enough CP to be useful. But unfortunately for Espeon, there is no shortage of strong psychic types to choose from. While Espeon is among the strongest, there is an abundance of legendary and mythical psychic-types as well as non-legendaries like Alakazam, Exeggutor, and Metagross that are comparable to or better than Espeon.

Possibly the most useful Eeveelution in Pokemon GO is Sylveon. While there are loads of strong psychic types, there is an extremely limited selection of fairy Pokemon in Pokemon GO. While the sixth generation legendary Xerneas is the strongest fairy type in Pokemon GO, Sylveon is functionally in a four-way tie for second place alongside Gardevoir, Florges, and Togekiss.
Past Sylveon, most of the other Eeveelutions fall into the same category of Espeon where they are good but have a great deal of competition from other Pokemon. This is especially the case with Flareon, Vaporeon, and Leafeon who are roughly as strong as the various fire, water, and grass starters.

How To Evolve Eevee Leafeon And Glaceon
Finally Eevee evolutions got even more confusing in Pokémon GO with the addition of Gen 4s Leafeon and Glaceon. This time youll need an item, or someone around you will need to use one that you can access. To evolve Eevee into Leafeon you need to be within range of a Poké Stop that has an active Mossy Lure on it. You can see this on the map with flying leaves surrounding it. Though the second one is ‘free’, it’s neither easy or particularly obvious from the outset. You must collect 32 ‘points’ from performing various activities, but you cannot do them at once – each individual activity has a 30 minute cooldown, with the exception of walking.

Unfortunately, these three Eeveelutions remain entirely random.
Unlike some of the others, Niantic hasnt changed the evolution method for these three and its simply a case of having 25 Eevee Candies, hitting the evolve button and hoping for the best.
The only other option relies on players not having used the naming trick, which is highly unlikely as it was discovered over five years ago.
However, for those who havent, used the trick yet, its simple. Naming your Eevee either Pyro, Sparky or Rainer and then evolving it will cause it to evolve into either Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon respectively.
Just remember, this is a one-time use deal, so use it wisely.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Vaporeon In Pokemon Go
Coming in at #134 in the Pokedex, Vaporeon is the water evolution of Eevee so it’s strong against rock and ground type Pokemon like Graveler. In addition to being catchable in the wild on very rare occasions, you can obtain a Vaporeon by evolving an Eevee with 25 candies.
Evolving an Eevee with candies can also get you a Jolteon or a Flareon, but you can guarantee a Vaporeon by using the name cheat and renaming your Eevee “Rainer” beforehand.
After your Rainer-named Eevee has evolved into Vaporeon, you can change its name back to Vaporeon. Unlike the main Pokemon games, you can rename your Pokemon as many times as you like in Pokemon Go.

Are There Shiny Eevee And Eeveelutions Can You Control Those
Like almost all other Shinies, you can only catch or hatch Eevee its Shiny form. If you want any of the Eeveelutions to be Shiny, you’ll need to evolve them the same way you evolve any Eevee. The nickname trick will work if you haven’t used it already. Otherwise, you’ll need to evolve them just like any other Eevee. The same goes for the flower crown costumed Eevee.
How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go currently has Pokemon from several generations… and the most recent Eevee Evolution added to the game is Sylveon, a Pokemon added in generation 6. In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.
First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira – then evolve it. The first time you do this, you’ll get a Sylveon. After this, however, you’ll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.
For further chances to evolve Eevee to Sylveon, you’ll need to get 70 Buddy Hearts with an Eevee – which puts your relationship with that Pokemon at the ‘Great Buddy’ level. After this, you simply need to evolve that Eevee with 25 Eevee candy, and you’ll get the fairy-type Sylveon in return.
All of these work with the Flower Crown Eevee or Shiny Eevee – so you can use these tricks to get yourself a Shiny Sylveon or a Flower Crown Sylveon.
