Pokemon Unite is set on Aeos Island, which is the home to the Unite Battle Committee. This group organizes Unite Battle tournaments that players take part in. Teams of five battle against each other to rack up the most points before the clock runs out.

To get points, players gather Aeos energy by defeating other Pokemon and then putting the energy into one of the opposing team’s designated zones. There are multiple battle stadiums in the game, and each has its own unique rules that determine things like match length and what types of Pokemon will appear.

Pokemon Unite has ranked matchmaking system that starts with the Beginner Cup and advances up to Master Cup. There is also a global leaderboard so you can see how your statistics match up with the rest of the playerbase.

This game is ten out of ten and is great. Just matchmaking is way to unfair also losing one game in a row makes you play with bots which is annoying but I wanna talk about matchmaking. The thing is is that there is no actual determining on which ranks get played or not. Basically I just barely got into veteran all my team is veteran 1 or 2, while the enemy team is like veteran 5 or maybe even ultra, it tells that way because i have low ranked teamsters that I like to say dont know what a Pokémon is but they just dont know the concept of the game, unlike my opponents. Also I think its extremely unfair if your solo queuing and a random 5 man, shows up and destroys your team because they have coordination. I know that this is definitely not the games fault and just the fact that the game is trying to match make with other players of the same rank but I mean, it would be nice to not get 5 maned in solo queue. The last thing is that different ranked players should not be able to play with each other. I think that its dumb because youll have like your professional big brother playing with his younger brother who doesnt know what the A button does. Like I mean this is what casual is for, not ranked. But ya this game is great and I really hope that you will fix matchmaking.

Pokémon Unite’s Gardevoir character was released Wednesday, July 28, only a week after the game launched. Given the style of content releases for games of this genre, players can likely look forward to a Wednesday release for Blastoise. An August 11, 18, or 25 release would be the most likely dates for Blastoise to join the game, as Pokémon Unite could be adapting a monthly release schedule for new Pokémon characters.
