Where To Find Eggs In Pokemon Go

One of the most exciting features of Pokemon Go is the ability to find eggs, hatch powerful Pokemon and train them to defend your gyms or showoff to your friends. This Where To Find Eggs In Pokemon Go guide will show you exactly what you need to do in order to gather some eggs and begin your conquest of your hometown.

Hatch When You’re Tired

Pokemon Go: How to Catch Mew

Not everyone has time, or the energy, to walk 10 km to hatch their eggs, but there are other solutions. They’re technically cheating, but they’re options.

One great way to hatch your eggs is to keep the game open while you ride the city bus. The bus typically goes slow enough that the game thinks you are walking, and you should be able to even turn some PokeStops along the way.

Pro tip: No need to scream that you need to get off the bus when passing a Snorlax or a Pikachu. Just quickly tap on the Pokemon to draw it into battle, slide the AR toggle switch in the upper right-hand corner and start battling. This will turn off the AR and allow you to catch the Pokemon without stopping.

You can even lay your phone on a record player or tape it to a ceiling fan to rack up distance, but be careful doing this. It may crack more than just some eggs.

When the game was new, these cheats were easier, but lately Niantic seems to be cracking down on players who try loopholes in the game. If you go too fast while playing Pokemon Go, a notice will pop up and ask if you are a passenger to confirm that you aren’t driving. This is a nuisance, but there is an even bigger problem.

When you go too fast, the GPS system in the game gets confused and the incubator count stays the same instead of getting higher. What is too fast? I have been experimenting and it seems that you need to stay under 10 to 15 miles per hour to keep the counter working.

Common 12km Egg Spawns

All of the following Pokemon are relatively common spawns from 12km eggs. They are indicated by 1 egg icon out of 3 when you open the egg menu.

While some of these Pokemon can spawn in the wild, theyre still all very rare Pokemon. If you want to train any of these Pokemon, then hatching 12km eggs is the best way to earn candies.

How To Get Lucky Eggs In Pokmon Go: Either Level Up Or Buy Them

There are two ways to get your hands on Lucky Eggs. However, the first option, simply waiting until you level up, is pretty terrible. The experience grind in Pokémon Go once your level enters the mid-20s feels interminably long, so depending on hitting another level for the chance to get a Lucky Egg means you won’t be using many Lucky Eggs at all.

Alternatively, you can buy Lucky Eggs with PokéCoins in the Pokémon Go shop. Five dollars will get you enough PokéCoins for a stack of 8 Lucky Eggs, and you’ll need $11 to get enough PokéCoins for a stack of 25 Lucky Eggs. And if you want to quickly level up in Pokémon Go, you’re going to need a lot of Lucky Eggs.

How Can You Tell Which Exact Pokmon Is In An Egg

You cant. Not until you hatch it. While Pokémon Go determines what youre getting in an Egg the moment the Egg is granted, until that Egg hatches, there is no way to tell for sure what is inside.

That means it doesnt matter where you are or what you do after you get an Egg. Whats inside is already decided. Its also why, when Pokémon Go makes a change to Eggs for an event or any other reason, it wont affect Eggs you already have, only ones you get from that point on. This is especially important for players trying to hatch Regional Pokémon from Eggs. If you dont pick up the Egg in the particular region where that Pokémon can be found, it cannot be in the Egg.

However, as of April 2021, players can see the complete pool of possible Pokémon in an Egg. The pool will reflect what could be in that Egg at the time it was picked up, so two 5 KM Eggs picked up a month apart will have different pools.

How To Get 10km Eggs In Pokemon Go

When it comes to eggs in Pokemon GO, having a few in their incubators as trainers go about their daily business is usually good practice.

Like eggs of other required walking distances, 10 kilometer eggs are acquired at Pokestops by spinning their photo disks. All Pokemon GO trainers need to do is to approach a Pokestop on the in-game map, tap the Pokestops icon, and spin the central disc in order to acquire items.

However, it is important to keep in mind that Pokestop rewards are randomized and it may take some time in order to get a 10km egg. Additionally, players with Adventure Sync may achieve egg rewards for reaching their fitness goals. However, these 10km eggs typically possess different Pokemon hatches.

Can You Get Rid Of Eggs In Pokmon Go

The only way of getting rid of eggs in Pokémon Go is through placing them inside incubators and hatching them by walking their specified distances. While it may sound a lot of work, if there are way too many Pokémon Eggs that youd like to just delete for new ones, its possible to speed up the process.

Acquiring multiple Incubators to make the most of each Pokémon Go session will be key to hatching more Eggs whenever you get to play the game. You can purchase a Blue Incubator, for starters, from the in-game shop for 150 Pokécoins. A Super Incubator, which costs 200 Pokécoins, reduces the amount of distance needed to hatch an egg by 33 percent.

If youre good on Incubators, youll need to find a way to cover more distance in shorter times. Some trainers may find going for runs more beneficial than walking since running also decreases the time itll take to hatch an egg.

Besides running, you can also cycle, skate, or even roam around in a cart as long as you dont go faster than 15 miles per hour. If you go any faster the app wont register any more distance traveled for your incubating Eggs.

The speed limit was one of the first precautions Niantic introduced in 2016. Players tried to simultaneously drive and play Pokémon Go to catch more Pokémon while hatching as many Eggs as possible. In addition to being slightly unfair to players that didnt access to a car, the practice was also quite dangerous, so a speed limit had to be introduced.

Why Are My Steps Not Tracking

How To Hatch Eggs In Pokémon Go

There are many reasons why your eggs might not be hatching, despite walking around. If your egg is in an Incubator, and its not tracking your walk distance, make sure you have your Adventure Sync turned on in your games settings. This will track your walking even when the app is closed.

Your device will need to both give Pokémon Golocation and fitness permissions. For iOS users, youll need to go into your device settings, tap Privacy, Location Services, Pokémon Go, and then allow Location Permissions to be on always. Android users will need to go into device settings, tap Apps & Notifications, Pokémon Go, Permissions, and make sure Location is on.

For fitness permissions, iOS users will need to open the Health app, tap their Apple ID icon, Apps, and make sure Pokémon Go has access to health data. Android users will need to open the Google Fit app and make sure Pokémon Go is a connected application in your settings.

The game also doesnt update your distance walked constantly. For example, if you put an egg into an Incubator and walk .5 kilometers, it may not update and reflect this immediately. It will eventually update, so youll need to give it some time.

Use A Roomba While Playing Pokemon Go

If you have a Roomba or any other robotic cleaner in the house, then you can also take its assistance to hack Pokemon Go eggs. All you got to do is place your phone on the Roomba and let it move around in your house. Since the robotic cleaner would move slowly, it will make Pokemon Go believe that you are walking instead. Just be sure that your phone will stay safe and protected. I would recommend placing it in a waterproof lock to further protect it from any wear and tear.
