These gifts are only accessible via the mobile version of Pokémon HOME and will be redeemable in either Sword and Shield or HOME.

Once Pokémon GO compatibility has been introduced sometime before the end of 2020, transferring a Pokémon from the mobile game to Sword or Shield will result in a Mystery Gift appearing in the mobile version of Pokémon Home a special Melmetal which can Gigantamax in the Switch game. Beware, though, because it’s not possible to transfer this Pokémon back to Pokémon GO once it has been moved to Pokémon Sword and Shield.

What Happens If You Delete Pokmon Home

What happens when I cancel my Pokémon Home subscription? According to the dedicated support page, this means if your subscription lapses, youll only be able to access the 30 most recently deposited Pokémon. The others will be hidden from your sight as if they never existed. Theyll re-appear once you re-subscribe.

Update Your Android Device

Another possible reason that may trigger the Pokemon Home error codes on Android phones is an outdated OS.

Running the Pokemon Home app on the outdated or old Android version may lead to compatibility issues, and you may face errors while playing the game. Hence, make sure your Android OS is updated. To do this, you can follow these given steps:

  • Go to the Settings page.
  • Tap on the About Phone.
  • Go to the System Update.
  • Now, your device will check for the new update.

Enter Your Nintendo Account Password Manually In Pokemon Home

When attempting to link a Nintendo Account to Pokemon Home, a separate browser window will open asking trainers to login to their Nintendo Account. Thanks to modern technology passwords can now be stored on mobile devices and are automatically entered into some logins. This functionality is usually super helpful, however, it is the main cause of not being able to link Nintendo Account to Home.

Instead of having your device auto-fill the password space to login to their Nintendo Account, trainers will need to enter their password manually by typing out their password. If a trainer uses the auto-fill function they will be greeted with the message pictured above stating Unable to log in using your Nintendo Account. Please check the Q& A for your Nintendo Account.

This will work the majority of the time, however, there is still another issue trainers can run into when attempting to link their Nintendo Account.

[Guide] How to Register Dex Entry of Pokémon Transferred from Home to Sword/Shield (Nintendo Switch)
    • 83

Since its release yesterday, there’s been a lot of questions about Pokémon Home, such as how the app interacts with the existing cloud-based service , and what the differences are between the free and paid plans.

If you do end up forking out for a premium subscription, what happens to the Pokémon you’ve deposited when it expires? Here’s the full explanation from the support section of the Pokémon website:

If you deposit 31 or more Pokémon in Pokémon HOME while you have the Premium Plan, and your plan then changes to the no-cost Basic Plan, you will not be able to view or withdraw any Pokémon beyond the 30th Pokémon you deposited.

So just to make it clear you’ll only be able to view and withdraw the first 30 Pokémon you deposited. Beyond this, you’ll have to renew your Premium plan to gain access to the rest.

For the sake of comparison, this is how Pokémon Bank supposedly works when the subscription has expired :

If your Pokemon Bank pass expires, you have a certain amount of time in which to withdraw any Pokemon you currently have stored. Unfortunately, after this period elapses, those Pokemon are lost, and we unfortunately do not have any way to restore them, even if you purchase a new pass.

    Canceling The Pokemon Home Subscription

Canceling the Pokemon Home subscription isn’t really hard. However, trainers need to know that if they’ve subscribed to the service from the Nintendo eShop for the Switch, then the subscription can be canceled from the eShop only.

If the Pokemon Home premium subscription was bought via Google Play or the App Store, then the subscription has to be canceled via the in-app settings on the mobile devices.

What Can The Gts Do For You

Level 30 Instinct PTC Login Pokémon Go Account

The other extremely useful feature of Pokémon HOME is the GTS . This will allow you to deposit Pokémon to be traded, but provide specific parameters for what you want in return.

Once you select a Pokémon to put up for a trade, youll be able to decide exactly what Pokémon you want in return, what gender it needs to be, what level it needs to be, and what games it can travel to.

That final option will be important if youre wanting Pokémon to use in Pokémon Lets Go Eevee or Lets Go Pikachu. Once a Pokémon from those games has been moved to Pokémon Sword and Shield, they cant return to Lets Go Eevee or Lets Go Pikachu.

If theres a specific Pokémon you want and youd rather go searching, you can simply do that. Tell the GTS which Pokémon you want, and itll show you all the possible trades available.

This service is crucial for anyone looking to complete a Pokédex or acquire Pokémon that arent available in their version of the game.

How Does Pokmon Home Benefit Pokmon Sword And Shield

Using Pokémon Home, you can transfer Pokémon that were previously unavailable in the Switch game into to Sword and Shield. Those include Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Litten, Rowlet, and Popplio as well as their evolutions plus Mewtwo, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, Necrozma, Marshadow, Zeraora, Meltan, and Melmeta, as well.

You can also transfer Alolan and Kantonian forms of existing Pokémon to Sword and Shield now.

How Do I Transfer Pokmon From Previous Generations To Pokmon Sword And Shield

This will involve the use of Pokémon Bank, the previous system used to store and trade Pokémon up until Gen 7. THIS FEATURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE WITH POKÉMON HOME’S PREMIUM PLAN.

You can find out more information on the official Pokémon Bank website, but as a rule, once you’ve moved Pokémon from earlier Gens to Pokémon Bank, they can’t be transferred back, so make sure you’re happy ‘losing’ them from your original games. The following infographic from the Pokémon Bank website shows which games permit deposits-only or deposits and withdrawals, but remember: TRANSFERS FROM POKÉMON BANK TO POKÉMON HOME ARE ONE-WAY ONLY:

The 3DS app has an annual fee of $4.99, but for the first month of Pokémon HOME, users can access Pokémon Bank free-of-charge, so there’s no time like the present if you’re eager to move all your Pokémon to the latest storage system.

Here are some details from the lovely Alex with regards to the convoluted process of transferring your legacy Pokémon up the daisy chain into Pokémon Bank and, from there, to Pokémon HOME. Over to Alex:

How To Avoid Being Banned From Spoofing

Spoofing can make playing Pokémon GO enjoyable, but it is a practice that Niantic specifically forbids. The following tips can help you avoid getting banned for spoofing

    • Avoid using a modified version of the game or a third-party client to catch Pokémon. There is a possibility that the client you choose could be working as a Niantic developer, increasing the chances that you will get caught.
    • When using a spoofing tool, take care to make sure that any movements you make in the game are natural. For example, avoid switching to a location that is too far away from your original location. Stick to areas you can actually travel to in a matter of hours.
    • Do not jailbreak or root your device. Jailbreaking your iOS device or rooting your Android device can compromise the safety of the device, putting your Pokémon GO account at risk.

Linking Your Nintendo Account To Pokemon Home

At the moment, Linking your Nintendo Account to the Pokemon Home mobile app does not offer a player much in the way of functionality other than receiving a free Kanto starter that they can then transfer into Pokemon Sword and Shield. However, it is still a neat idea to have your Pokemon with you wherever you go.

To link your Nintendo Account to Pokemon Home open the app and hit the menu button at the bottom of the screen. Select the options button and then select the option to link your Nintendo Account. From here you will be asked to log in to your Nintendo Account, and if all goes well you should be good to go. If not, here are some ways you may be able to fix this issue.

    What Is Pokmon Home

Simply put, Pokémon HOME is a cloud based storage system for Pokémon collected from many core Pokémon games and now Pokémon Go as well. It allows you to store up to 6,000 Pokémon, trade with other players, collect mystery gifts, decorate your room, and even earn points that can be exchanged for BP in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield.

There is a Basic Plan that offers a limited number of features for free however, to get the most from Pokémon HOME, you’ll want to pay for the Premium Plan. It costs $3 for 30 days, $5 for 90 days, or $16 annually. You can purchase your preferred plan through the Nintendo eShop.

Why Should You Be Using Wonder Box

Dark To Mode Android Use Instagram How

One of the most handy features in Pokémon HOME is the introduction of Wonder Box, which can only be accessed on the mobile app. Youll be able to place a Pokémon you no longer want in the Wonder Box, and after a short amount of time youll get something else in return.

The Pokémon you receive will be something that another user has placed in their Wonder Box, and its chosen at random. You could get lucky and wind up with rare Pokémon, shiny Pokémon, or very powerful Pokémon just through Wonder Box.

Should you get something you dont want, you can always drop it back into Wonder Box and see if your next try results in a Pokémon you do want. Keep it up until you get something you do want, youd be surprised by some of the amazing Pokémon that can arrive via Wonder Box.

If you want to get some stock to toss into Wonder Box in hopes of getting something good in return, you can always catch or breed extra Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield to be sent to Pokémon HOME as Wonder Box fodder.

What Are The Benefits Of Pokmon Homes Premium Plan

As mentioned above, the Premium Plan isnt needed for Pokémon HOME, but for some users it will be well worth the investment. The biggest upgrade will be the option to move Pokémon from Pokémon Bank into Pokémon HOME.

Youll see a massive leap forward in the amount of Pokémon youll be able to store in Pokémon HOME, going from the Free Plans meager 30 to getting space for a total of 6,000 Pokémon with the Premium Plan.

Wonder Box will see an upgrade, giving you access to place 10 Pokémon in Wonder Box at one time, rather than only three. Youll see a similar upgrade on the GTS, allowing you to place 3 Pokémon in the GTS at once instead of only one.

With the Premium Plan, youll also be able to host Room Trade, which can be very useful in setting up trades on Pokémon HOME with friends or online acquaintances.

The final benefit of the Premium Plan is the addition of the Judge function, which can be used within Pokémon HOME to check whether your Pokémon have the best stats. This is critical for anyone planning to maximize their Pokémons potential and acquire Max IV Pokémon.

If you decide the benefits are worthwhile for you, the Pokémon HOME Premium Plan comes at an affordable price. You can get a one-year subscription for £14.39 , a three-month subscription for £4.49 , or a one-month subscription for £2.69 .
