However, users cannot move Pokémon from Sword and Shield to the Let’s Go games, and users cannot deposit Pokémon back into the Let’s Go games if they have already been moved to Sword and Shield. Users can freely move Pokémon in Sword and Shield’s Regional, Isle of Armour or Crown Tundra Pokédexes between Pokémon Home and Pokémon Sword and Shield. From depositing Pokémon in Home, users gain Home Points. Users can transfer these points to Sword and Shield for Battle Points, with every 30 Home Points accounting for 1 Battle Point. A future update will also enable support for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
With a Premium Plan, users can access the full 200 boxes available, capable of storing up to 6000 Pokémon.

Pokemon Home is now available to download on Nintendo Switch. The cloud-based subscription service, which allows you to transfer Pokemon from previous games into Pokemon Sword and Shield among other features, was previously announced for a February 2020 release window, but the specific date was not confirmed.
Like Pokemon Bank, Pokemon Home allows you to store Pokemon you’ve caught across various games. There are two versions of Pokemon Home: the Nintendo Switch app and the mobile app. The mobile version has distinct features, including trading, and is a companion app to the Switch one rather than an alternative. Differences Between Switch And Mobile Versions
While you can link you mobile version of Pokémon HOME with your Switch version, the features you can access differs depending on which version you’re using. One of the most basic things is that when using the mobile version, you can’t move Pokémon into Pokémon HOME from Switch games including Pokémon: Sword, Shield, Let’s Go, Pikachu!, and Let’s Go, Eevee! Additionally, mobile users cannot exchange Battle Points since this is something used in the Switch games.

Pokemon Go May Charge Money To Transfer Pokemon To Pokemon Home
A question found on a Japanese Pokemon page raises some disturbing implications about the upcoming connectivity between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home. Earlier today, the Pokemon Company announced that it would add connectivity to Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home, the cloud-based storage service meant to act as a “permanent” home for a player’s Pokemon, regardless of what game it came from. However, Joe Merrick from Serebii pointed out that a question on the Japanese Pokemon support page asks how many PokeCoins is required to transfer a Pokemon between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home. The page doesn’t give a definitive answer but it certainly suggests that players will need to use PokeCoins to move their Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Home.
While players can earn a small amount of PokeCoins for free on a daily basis, you can also purchase them from the in-game store and the currency is how players pay for premium items. If Niantic plans to charge players to move Pokemon out of their service, it would almost definitely be met with wide resistance. Complicating matters is the fact that players need to make a transfer between Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home to get a special Melmetal that Gigantamaxes. Players can also activate their Mystery Box when they make a transfer to Pokemon Home.

How To Access Isle Of Armor
Since the island lies off the coast of Galar proper, it’s inaccessible from the mainland, so you’ll need to take a Flying Taxi from Wedgehurst Station to get there. After installing the expansion, you’ll automatically receive the Armor Pass; show that to the attendant inside Wedgehurst Station and you’ll be shuttled to the island at no charge. Once you’ve visited the Isle of Armor for the first time, you’ll be able to fast travel back to it even from the mainland.

These gifts are only accessible via the mobile version of Pokémon HOME and will be redeemable in either Sword and Shield or HOME.
Once Pokémon GO compatibility has been introduced sometime before the end of 2020, transferring a Pokémon from the mobile game to Sword or Shield will result in a Mystery Gift appearing in the mobile version of Pokémon Home a special Melmetal which can Gigantamax in the Switch game. Unfortunately, no. The Pokémon you first caught two decades ago are forever trapped on those original Game Boy cartridges or on Pokémon Stadium. Of course, using various shady tactics and compromised hardware, enterprising Poké Trainers have been known to dump their original saves from the Game Boy carts, upload them to the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red and Blue, and then move those to Pokémon Bank, but we shall not delve into those dark arts here.
No, it seems that ‘Stinkypoo’ the Pikachu, ‘Wormy’ the Weedle and ‘Metapoo’ the Metapod will die on our Game Boy carts along with the battery. Probably for the best, to be honest.
What Pokmon Games Can I Use With Pokmon Home
As you can see above, Pokémon HOME is fully compatible with Pokémon Sword and Shield – you can transfer your Pokémon to and from the app at will.
You can also transfer Pokémon between Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! via Pokémon HOME, and transfer compatible Pokémon to from those games to Sword and Shield, although only monsters that are part of Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Galar Pokédex . Additionally, once they’re in Sword or Shield, they cannot then be transferred back to Let’s Go, Pikachu or Eevee.
Once transferred to Pokémon HOME, your Pokémon will be listed in the National Pokédex . Remember, Pokémon Sword and Shield has it’s own Pokédex and is not compatible with every single Pokémon, although with the additional Pokémon from the Expansion Passes, Sword and Shield will support over 600 Pokémon.
It is not currently possible to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME, although the feature is coming. It should be noted that transferred Pokémon cannot be moved back to Pokémon GO once they have been moved to Pokémon HOME.
For previous generation games, all Pokémon must be transferred via Pokémon Bank on 3DS. While it is possible to transfer Gen 1 and Gen 2 Pokémon from the 3DS Virtual Console releases of the original Game Boy games , it is not possible to move Pokémon from original Game Boy cartridges to Pokémon HOME.

Game Freak and Nintendo have finally;rolled the curtain back on Pokemon Home: the new transfer app due next month.
For starters, theres going to be two plans: basic and premium. The basic plan is free, but you can only deposit 30 Pokemon in total, among other restrictions that you can read below in detail. The premium plan takes all of the training wheels off, allows a whopping 6,000 Pokemon to be banked, and will cost you either $2.99 a month or $15.99 a year, a far cry from the previous cheap 3DS Pokemon Bank service . To transfer Pokemon from the Bank to Home, you need to subscribe to premium.
The plan is to still launch it next month, and when it arrives, itll also sport a mobile edition as well as the Switch app. Support for the pair of Lets Go;Switch games is re-confirmed, but once you move a creature from Lets Go;into Sword and Shield;proper, it cannot go back. Trades can also happen on mobile devices through Wonder Box trades, the GTS , Room Trading and Friend Trading.
Heres what Game Freak has to say about the National Pokedex: Pokemon will be registered to the National Pokedex when users deposit them in the Boxes in Pokemon Home. If users deposit a Pokemon that can Mega Evolve or Gigantamax, then these forms will also be registered. In the National Pokedex, Trainers will be able to see Pokedex entries from various games in one place. With the mobile device version of Pokemon Home, users will also be able to search by Pokemons abilities or moves.

What Are Research Tasks
Research Tasks are exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version and require you to deposit specific Pokémon from Sword and Shield and Lets Go, Eevee and Pikachu. For example, the Dusty Bowl Research Task asks for a Eldegoss, Hattrem, and Frillish.
Note that the Pokémon required to complete the tasks need to be from the respective region. Importing a Frillish from Pokémon Bank will not fulfill the task for the Galar region.
If Youre Moving Pokmon From Diamond Pearl Platinum Soulsilver Or Heartgold
Youll need two Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS systems to make this move.
After beating the Elite Four in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, or White 2, youll get access to the PokéTransfer Lab on Route 15. Enter and talk to the scientist inside. On your second console, youll have to insert the game youre trying to transfer from and select DS Download Play.
From there, you can move the Pokémon from fourth generation Pokémon games to fifth generation games by playing a quick minigame where you fire Pokéballs at the chosen Pokémon as they hop around.

As explained by Pokémon HOME support, you’ll continue to have access to the Pokémon in your Basic Box, although all others will be inaccessible until you purchase another plan.
