What Does Buddy Adventure Allow You To Do In Pokmon Go

Once you reach Trainer level 2, Buddy Adventure introduces a series of new activities and benefits:

• You can play with and feed berries to your Buddy in AR mode
• Your Buddy will follow you on the map screen
• Increasing your Buddy level unlocks a range of perks, including additional aid during the catch phase, a CP boost, and finding items
• Up to three players can share the same AR space with their Pokémon to take a picture

As before, walking a set distance will earn you Candy, and this still works outside of the Buddy system – meaning you don’t have to have them on the map in ‘Adventure’ mode for this to work, in case you forget to fed them regularly.

You can also swap between multiple Buddies per day, allowing you to earn the above perks across multiple Pokémon.

How To Catch Shiny Eevee In Pokemon Go

The upcoming Community Day in Pokemon Go will feature Eevee. The event is scheduled from August 14, 2021, to August 15, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 05:00 AM local time. Naturally, the Pokemon will appear more in the wild, increasing the chance of players encountering a shiny Eevee as well. Additionally, the event will also provide quite a few bonuses to players, including a 3-hour incense which helps to attract the Pokemon, a 1/4 egg hatch distance and 3-hour lures to be used at the PokeStops as well.

If you want a free Charmander, all you have to do is take Route 24, which is the path north of the city of Cerulean that you reach by crossing the Nugget Bridge. The main story will take you to this place in search of the famous Pokémon fanatic, Bill. On Route 24, directly north of the Nugget Bridge, you will see a coach standing near the hills with a Charmander. Talk to him and you will find that he wants to get rid of the lovely creature. He will ask you to have captured at least 50 Pokémon before delivering Charmander to you.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Leafeon And Glaceon

Grass-type Leafeon and Ice-type Glaceon are the latest Eeveelutions to be added to Pokémon Go and unlike Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon there is a secondary way of securing their forms.

In order to evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon youll have to get specific items: either the Glacial Lure Module for Glaceon or the Mossy Lure Module for Leafeon, both of which can be purchased in the in-game shop for 200 coins each.

Once you have the correct Lure Module, simply apply it to a PokéStop. While youre still close to that PokéStop and the Lure is active, evolve your Eevee using the usual 25 candies and you should get the form youre looking for. If everything is working properly, the evolution button should show the outline of the Eevee evolution you’re going to get before you press it, rather than the usual question mark.

There are lots of Eevee evolutions to collect, and if youre a crazy collector youll also want to have both male and female versions.

After using the Eevee name trick, you cant always choose which evolution you get. So make sure to collect plenty of shinies so you can have another shot if you get any doubles.

Meowth For Alolan Meowth

This is the Lets Go, Eevee equivalent of the Grimer trade. You will need to find the same punk trainer who will have an Alolan Meowth in this version. This Meowth will be level forty-four and come with a move set of slash, nasty plot, screech, and play rough. Which once again isnt a very strong move set, but that can be quickly edited by the player to make Meowth more effective in battle.

Alolan Meowth is only dark type making it one of the few single type Alolan forms available.

Squirtle In Pokemon Lets Go: Squirtle Location For Gift & Wild Encounters

The final of the three starters from the classic games is Squirtle, and Squirtle is the last to show up on Pokemon Lets Go in either form. You wont be able to nab Squirtle until one further city in the game, and it wont appear in the wild until much later. Heres how it works:

• To get a Squirtle without catching, youll need to reach Vermillion City. Youll see a Squirtle causing Officer Jenny trouble in Cerulean City, and when you reach Vermillion youll see Jenny again and this time shes caught the cheeky little Pokemon. Shes willing to give it to you to keep it on the straight and narrow, but shell need proof you know what youre doing having caught 60 Pokemon should do it.
• If you want a wild Squirtle encounter, you will sadly need to wait until some of the later routes in the game out on the islands, where youll use Sea Skim to get out onto the water. Look for wild Squirtle on Route 24, Route 25 and the Seafoam Islands area of Kanto. Youll reach these areas a little later, but the same rules apply its a super rare encounter not mentioned in the Pokedex, and youll need to use catch combos and lures to raise your chances of bumping into a Squirtle.

What Is The Best Eeveelution In Pokemon Go

When strictly considering CP, the strongest Eeveelution in Pokemon GO is Espeon. Espeon has the highest CP ceiling of any Eeveelution, and is capable of hitting 3,170 when the trainer hits level 40. Though Espeon is strong, it doesnt quite run away with the category.

Here are the different Eeveelutions and their maximum CP at level 40:

Almost every Eeveelution hits a high enough CP to be useful. But unfortunately for Espeon, there is no shortage of strong psychic types to choose from. While Espeon is among the strongest, there is an abundance of legendary and mythical psychic-types as well as non-legendaries like Alakazam, Exeggutor, and Metagross that are comparable to or better than Espeon.

Possibly the most useful Eeveelution in Pokemon GO is Sylveon. While there are loads of strong psychic types, there is an extremely limited selection of fairy Pokemon in Pokemon GO. While the sixth generation legendary Xerneas is the strongest fairy type in Pokemon GO, Sylveon is functionally in a four-way tie for second place alongside Gardevoir, Florges, and Togekiss.

Past Sylveon, most of the other Eeveelutions fall into the same category of Espeon where they are good but have a great deal of competition from other Pokemon. This is especially the case with Flareon, Vaporeon, and Leafeon who are roughly as strong as the various fire, water, and grass starters.

How To Play With And Feed Your Buddy In Pokmon Go

Let’s start with the basics. To play with your Buddy in Pokémon Go, make sure you’re first Trainer Level 2 and have a Buddy assigned, then tap the Buddy icon in the lower left corner of the screen, next to your Trainer Profile.

Next, press the Play! button. Your phone camera will then activate. If you are in AR mode, you must find a flat surface. Point towards it until yellow footprints appear, then tap.

If it then says you are too close to your Buddy, back away a step or two, and it should appear.

If you’re struggling, remember you can disable AR mode in the Settings, so the Pokémon will simply appear on the screen.

With the Pokémon visible, you can play by rubbing it. You can also feed it by tapping the Berry icon.

Unlike during the catch phase where berries are simply tapped, on the Buddy screen they must be thrown like a Poké Ball to your Buddy’s mouth. You don’t lose your Berry if you miss however, so keep trying!

Once they are fully fed, they will join you on an Adventure, where they can start earning Hearts for that day…

Battling Trainers And Gym Leaders Is Mostly The Same As Past Pokmon Games

Like in past Pokémon games, players will need to overcome other trainers and gym leaders to progress through the game. Players can take up to six pokémon into battle and take turns choosing their attacks. Pokémon have different elemental weaknesses based on their type and each gym leader focuses on a specific type of Pokémon. There are eight gym leaders in the Kanto region and beating them all will allow the player to challenge the Elite Four, the strongest trainers in the game.
