Now, I dont want to sound like a nagging Poke-parent – ironic given how lax parents are in the main games – but its time to up your game and start playing Pokemon Go every day. Yep, on your feet soldier. If you arent already, this small step will guarantee you a Pokemon Go evolution item every seven days from your seven day Pokestop streak and increase your odds of finding a Sinnoh Stone.
Regular special items such as Up-Grades and Kings Rocks sometimes even drop from regular Poke Stops but making sure to spin a Poke Stop every day and working towards your streak will ensure you get at least one every week. Bear in mind though that its impossible to predict what youll get so you might have to see a few Metal Coats before you find the Sun Stone you want.
The Sinnoh Stone, introduced with Gen 4, is a significantly trickier find but not impossible. There are two main ways to find a Sinnoh Stone. The first is to complete your seven day research breakthrough tasks. This essentially means earning one stamp each day until you earn a legendary Pokemon encounter. If youre lucky, at the same time, youll earn a Sinnoh Stone but they are not guaranteed. The second way to find one is to take part in trainer battles via PvP. Sinnoh Stones have been known to drop for both winners and losers. Good luck!

Are There Any Other Ways To Get Double Xp In Pokmon Go Events
Absolutely. Pokémon Go has run several events so far that have offered XP multipliers. During some of them, it was a blanket 2x multiplier for all XP essentially a constant Lucky Egg all day, every day, for the duration of the event. And yes, if you used a Lucky Egg at the same time, you got quadruple the XP.
Pokémon Go has also run events where the multiplier for XP was specific to catching, hatching, or some other action. It’s essential to pay attention to what specific action in the game grants these bonuses and focus on those. Like other multipliers, these also stack with a Lucky Egg.

Kind of. You cant buy XP directly, but you can buy Lucky Eggs, which temporarily double the XP you get while playing the game. The effect lasts for 30 min., and you can get them in different quantities from the Shop:
- One Lucky Egg for 80 PokéCoins.
- Eight Lucky Eggs for 500 PokéCoins.
Lucky Eggs are also sometimes included in the Special Boxes that are made available during events, allowing you to save some PokéCoins.

How To Get Pokecoins In Pokemon Go
Pokecoins can be purchased as microtransactions in the in-game shop. Under the Pokecoins section in the Pokeshop, you will find a handful of various offers.
- 100 Pokecoins $0.99
- 5,200 Pokecoins $62.99
- 14,500 Pokecoins $159.99
Depending on how you choose to split up your purchases, getting the requisite 16,600 or so Pokecoins to finance maxing out your Pokemon box storage could cost you near $200 if you purchase them all from the in-game Pokeshop.
The only other way to earn Pokecoins without real-world currency is by defeating and defending Gyms. The payout for holding a gym works out to about six Pokecoins per hour. This earns you a measly maximum of 50 Pokecoins from one gym per day. But thats only if you manage to successfully defend the gym for the full eight hours and 20 minutes.
For every upgrade purchased, youll need to defend four gyms for a full day to max out each ones Pokecoin output.
Note: Niantic was confirmed to be running localized tests in Australia to broaden the approaches to earning Pokecoins in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. These additional methods for earning Pokecoins include catching, evolving, transferring, buddy snapshots, and more. However, if these trials will ever roll out to more regions remains to be seen as the developers have recently been dealing with trainer blowback for revoking other adjustments made to accommodate the global pandemic.

How To Get Up
Eighty new Pokemon joined the Pokemon GO roster as of the time of this writing, bringing with them some special, new evolution items. One of these special items is the Up-Grade, a transparent device produced by Silph Co. Well walk you through how to get Up-Grade, and exactly what it does for your Pokemon within the game.
First up, this item, like all the evolution items, can be obtained from Poke Stops. Simply arrive at a Stop, spin, and collect your rewards. Youll most likely get the usual Poke Balls and Berries, but if youre lucky, an Up-Grade will drop. This is entirely randomized, of course. You can also purchase it with real world money, but if you dont want to do that, the Stops are your best bet!
So, what do you do with this item once you have it? Hopefully you have a Porygon, because the Up-Grade is needed to evolve it into Porygon2. Youll still need the appropriate amount of candy in order to achieve this, but this evolution item serves as an additional requirement. Just a little something extra youll need. The Up-Grade doesnt evolve any other Pokemon at this time, but well be sure to update you if that changes.

How Does Battling Work
Fighting in Pokemon Go is a bigger mess than Brocks love life. Youre supposed to be able to swipe left and right to dodge the incoming attacks of opposing Pokemon. You can time the dodge by watching the opponents attack animation. If you have decent cell service, and a bit of luck, you should even be able to dodge special attacks. Youre also supposed to tap your opponent over and over to attack. Attacks effectiveness is based on the rock-paper-scissors system of strengths and weaknesses found in the core Pokemon games. That means fire is weak against water, grass is weak against fire, water is weak against grass. Your best bet is to have a ton of potions and revives at the ready in case you need to revive and heal fainted Pokemon, and just tap away, and tap and hold once in a while to unleash your Pokemons special attacks, which consumes some special meter .

Updates have introduced multiple types of berries that each have different effects.Nanab Berries: Use these berries to slow down a wild Pokemon’s movements. Strategic use of these can be key to capturing a particularly elusive ‘Mon.Pinap Berries: These double the amount of Candy you get as a reward if your next attempt to capture a Pokemon succeeds. It’s a bit of a risk though, because if you fail to capture your next target the berry goes to waste.Razz Berries: Mechanics haven’t changed here. How To Get The Up
As is the case with the Metal Coat and the other evolution-triggering collectibles in Pokemon GO, obtaining an Up-Grade is a matter of finding one at a PokeStop. If possible, players should travel to areas that have multiple PokeStops to increase the odds that they will get an Up-Grade. If players live in an area that doesn’t have many PokeStops, then they can kill time by walking away from the PokeStop and returning when it resets, catching wild Pokemon and hatching eggs while they wait.
Unfortunately, there is no exact science to getting an Up-Grade from a PokeStop. All players can do is spin PokeStop wheels repeatedly until the game decides to gift them with the elusive item. Once players finally have the Up-Grade in their possession, the next step is preparing a Pokemon to evolve with it.
How Do I Get An Upgrade
For those players who dont have an Upgrade already, you can find more of them by spinning Pokestops at random, though the chance is quite small.
That said, you should be spinning plenty of Pokestops as part of simply playing the game, so youll likely stumble on to a few of these sooner or later.
If your luck just isnt giving you the item you want specifically, you can check your research tasks special research sometimes gives fixed evolution items. Otherwise, try opening gifts if you can.
There are very few fixed ways to get Evolution items in the game check your available research rewards and simply keep trying is the best advice I can give if you cant find one so far.
