Deleting A Save File In Pokemon Platinum
I have an issue in that when I went to go to the underground I am told when the game tries to save that there is a pre-existing file which can be deleted at the start menu by pressing up+select+B button. I have tried this and it has not worked. The .sav file for the game is not external and doesnt show up in the folder so I do not feel confident enough to try to go in myself and delete it for fear of messing up the game. I do have a save state of where I am and want to be in the game so that when I get rid of the hard save file I can save my game and continue as I want to and would really enjoy help with this problem as when I beat the Elite 4 the game will force a save and will then fail and I will be again be unable to progress so I would really enjoy if someone could help me with this problem.
EDIT: I am using the most current version of desmume if that helps at all.

But if you breed a hidden ability parent with a Ditto, the offspring have a 60 percent chance to get a hidden ability.
