How To Use A Lure Module In Pokmon Go
Pokémon GO has tons of different items that players can use to make their Pokémon journeys easier and better. From Lucky Eggs that double whatever XP a Pokémon trainer gets for the duration of 30 minutes to addition Egg Incubators that trainers can use to walk towards hatching more than one Pokémon at the same time, there is no lack of assistance for Pokémon trainers. Arguably the most valuable items in Pokémon GO are Lure Modules.
Lure Modules are items that can be deployed at Pokéstops, where they, as suggested by their name, lure Pokémon. One Lure Module remains active for 30 minutes, and during this time attracts 5-10 Pokémon to the Pokéstop. Sounds a lot like Incense, doesnt it? Well, Lure Modules attract Pokémon to a stationary location, but this location is a Pokéstop and not the location of the trainer who used the Lure Module. And to top it all off, EVERY single trainer in the immediate vicinity of the Pokéstop where a Lure Module is deployed and active can take advantage of it and catch the Pokémon that are drawn to it.
However, a Lure Module cant be used like other items, which can be accessed and then activated by tapping on the Pokéball> Items> the item you want to activate > the floating image of the item you want to activate. If you want to use a Lure Module in Pokémon GO, you need to:

Glacial Lure Mossy Lure And Magnetic Lure Explained And What Pokmon They Attract Explained
Three types of elemental Lure Module are available in the game:
- Glacial Lure Module – A frosty Lure Module that attracts Water and Ice Pokémon for 30 minutes.
- Magnetic Lure Module – An electronic Lure Module that attracts Electric, Steel and Rock Pokémon for 30 minutes.
- Mossy Lure Module – A natural Lure Module that attracts Bug, Grass and Poison Pokémon for 30 minutes.
- Rainy Lure Module – A wet Lure Module that attracts Water, Bug and Electric Pokémon for 30 minutes.
Using a Lure provides three uses:
1) Once used at a PokéStop, Pokémon of that type are more likely to spawn around that location.
2) Exclusive Pokémon can spawn at Lures. To date, there is only one Pokémon that debuted exclusively with a Lure enabled – Gen 5‘s Cryogonal, available during December 2019’s holiday event using a Glacial Lure – but note that has been reported to no longer appear in lures and can spawn in snowy weather.
3) Each Lure can also offer special evolutions, some of which are exclusive. When in use, you can go to the respective pre-evolution and evolve it into the following:
- Magnetic Lure evolutions: Magnezone and Probopass
- Mossy Lure evolutions: Leafeon
- Glacial Lure evolutions: Glaceon
- Rainy Lure evolutions: Goodra
Note – both Leafeon and Glaceon can also use Eevee evolution names if you prefer .
The above methods are similar to those in the main games – requiring proximity to magnetic fields, for example, to evolve certain creatures.
Glaceon With The Glacial Lure
Glaceon is another Eeveelution that requires the use of a lure and is obtained by evolving Eevee within range of a Pokestop that has a Glacial Lure Module attached. It can be purchased from the shop for 200 PokeCoins.
Glaceons Quick moves are Frost Breath and Ice Shard . Its Charge moves are Avalance , Ice Beam , Icy Wind , and Last Resort . At Level 50, Glaceon has a Max CP of 3,535, an Attack stat of 238, a Defense stat of 205, and a Stamina stat of 163.

How To See Who Dropped A Lure On A Pokstop In Pokmon Go
If you’re hanging out at your local watering hole and notice that someone set a Lure on the PokéStop right outside, you can find out the username of the person who dropped it and maybe buy them a drink as a way of saying “thanks.”
If you recognize the username, go over and say “hi.” If you don’t, you can alway shout out, “Who is ? Thanks for the Lure drop!”
Features Of This Lure
The Lur Module is a fairly rare perk, so don’t use it in an area where rare Pokemon never spawn. Yes, this is a bait, but it is more active where the developers put interesting Pokémon. Therefore, dozens of lur-modules are constantly operating in each capital at the same time. You can see how players gather in groups, bring blankets with them, or occupy any stairs in the shade of trees and buildings.
This bonus is useful in that even players who have used up their lure modules can use the influence of others without negative last for other players. So, the main features of the Lur-module:
- simplifying the process of catching rare Pokemon
- there is no need to look for Pokemon and walk around the area, but this makes it difficult to hatch and earn bonuses for the kilometers traveled
- group use of the bait does not affect its effectiveness and everyone can catch the pokemon lured by the lure module on occasion
- 30 minutes are given for use, which is enough to catch Pokemon and not get tired of waiting
- you can always use the effect of someone else’s lur-module and chat with other players
- the bonus is given rarely, which leaves room for an exciting and active search for Pokémon
- living in the city center with the availability of a Pokéstop from home, you can activate the lur module without going outside, which is especially important at night, when very rare Pokémon appear, but wandering through the back streets is dangerous.

What Is Lure Module
The Lure Module in the game, which you will find in the Pokémon Go game menu, as opposed to the decoy ” Incense“, attracts animals not to a specific location in which the player is located, but to a pokéStop. In fact, the work of the module lies in the fact that the Trainer leaves him at the pokéStop , where he attracts those who have lost cyber monsters.

Pokemon Go Special Lure Modules Pokemon Attracted To Rainy Glacial Mossy And Magnetic Lures
As you already know, we use Lure Modules to attract a certain type of Pokemon at the chosen PokeStop for 30 minutes. There are different Special Lures in the game, Rainy, Glacial, Mossy, and Magnetic, and each Lure attracts different Pokemon species.
How can you see which PokeStop has an active Lure Module? Well, a PokeStop that is actively luring Pokemon will have pink petals falling from the circles. The good thing about this tool is that anyone who is near a PokeStop can take advantage of the effect.
Unfortunately, only one Lure Module can be active, which means that you need to wait for the previous one to expire if you want a different type of Module.
At this very moment, we have four Lure Modules Glacial, Mossy, Magnetic, and Rainy Lure.

All The Special Lures: Evolving Leafeon And Glaceon In Pokmon Go Is Complicated
Pokemon GO
There are a bunch of new Pokémon in Pokémon GO, and four of them are weird. Leafeon, Glaceon, Probopass and Magnezone all have the same evolution mechanic: like some other creatures, you cant just evolve them with candy. Their method is new, however: you have to get yourself a mossy lure, glacial lure or magnetic lure, plop it on a nearby Pokéstop and then stand within its range in order to complete the evolution.
On its face, this is definitely one of the more complicated evolution methods the game has given us so far. Other special evolutions have required a certain item or, in some cases, that you walk with your Pokémon as a buddy, but theres a lot more going on here. The special item in question is not just an evolution power-up like a sun stone or what have you, but an entirely different item with an ostensibly different purpose. And, crucially, you dont get them from Pokéstops, research rewards or anything like that. You just buy them in the store. Niantic has noted that these will be made available through special research soon, but thats not the case right now. And thus were still dealing with a paygate of a kind, just a very strange one.
If you see a special lure active on your map, it gives you a reason to get up and check it out. Any time the game does that, its doing its job.
And, as always, these mechanics work a whole lot better for urban players than rural ones. Thats nothing new, however.

What Should I Name Eevee To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go
Players however have already seemingly found the nickname for Sylveon, with it being Kira. This is due to players getting a network error when attempting to evolve an Eevee with that name. Each of the evolution nicknames have some kind of significance to them, often being the reason for how players discovered them.

How To Get A Glacial Lure Magnetic Lure Or Mossy Lure
Lures are available from the in-game shop for 200 Pokécoins each. Pokécoins are the games premium currency, though you dont necessarily have to hand over real world money to earn them: you can earn up to 50 coins a day by having your Pokémon defend local Gyms.
You can also get one of each of the lures by participating in theJirachi special research taskA Thousand-Year Slumber they are the reward for completing the relatively easy tasks in step 1/7. Keep a look out for free lures in future tasks too!
The premium nature of these lures means that they are far more rarely spotted in the wild however, keep an eye out for the tale-tale confetti around a Pokéstop using a lure and you may be able to reap the benefits for free:
- Active Glacial Lures will have snowflake shapes falling around them
- Active Magnetic Lures are surrounded by small grey rectangles
- Active Mossy Lures are symbolised by a shower of green leaves

Lure Module Pokemon Go Won’t Activate What Is Lure Module How Incense Lure Works
All Lure Module lures in Pokémon GO
Bait Lur Module summons additional Pokémon for 30 minutes. On some, the Lure Module effect can last up to several hours at a time. Decoy modules are placed in the Pokéstop and cause an increased spawn of Pokémon that can be seen by everyone within range. These lures are available for purchase with Pokécoins in the in-game store.
The Pokémon summoned by the Lur Module are distinguished from others by the pink circle below them. After placing the module, the first Pokemon appears immediately, and then, the others will spawn every 3-5 minutes. Pokémon will disappear shortly before their next appearance.
Appearances are influenced by the weather, biome and Pokémon that are found in the area. Any Lur Module bait will not attract Pokémon nests. If you use the bait module in the so-called dead zones and in the wilderness, then Pokémon will appear more randomly from the pool. This way we will meet more variety and rarer Pokémon.
In addition, three brand new bait modules have been added in. The Glacial Lure, Mossy Lure and Magnetic Lure modules are available for purchase now in the play store. And a little later, this season, you will receive as a reward for completing new special quests. These new items will also give us the ability to evolve Glaceon, Leafeon, Magnezone and Probopass.
Let’s take a closer look at them.
