Pokmon Go Shiny List And Rarity Tier List

POKEMON GO MAGIKARP EVOLVES INTO GYARADOS!

Around five months after Shiny Magikarp was first sighted, we started to see the first sign of other shinies.

Though the list has expanded greatly since the arrival of Magikarp and Red Gyarados, the number is small compared to the number of non-shiny creatures in the game.

At a glance, here is every possible shiny creature you can get in the game right now and their rarity according to a user survey :

You May Join A Special Event By Clicking On The Tv

Your Magikarp pond comes with a TV on the top left corner, and when you click on it, youll be redirected to the I Love Magikarp song, as found on the official Pokémon channel on YouTube. But dont misconstrue this video as nothing more than a funny clip. You may actually want to try this little tactic if you get the chance tap on the TV, hit on cancel right away, and repeat this until you notice that theres static in the television set. After this, redo the tap-and-cancel process and keep on doing this until the static is gone.

Thats going to trigger another event/mini-game, which the game refers to as Be Gone! This mini-game will have you and your Magikarp haunted by a female ghost, and if youre given the chance to do so, try to get as far away from the ghost as possible. Thats going to increase your Magikarps maximum level by one, but since the catch here is that you can only increase max level once, this is a mini-game best played once youve gotten far enough and are looking forward to a future version of Magikarp. Fortunately, this is one mini-game where the outcome isnt entirely based on chance.

More About The Training Mini

Of course, those are not the only mini-games you can play in Magikarp Jump, but we decided to discuss the other one separately. You may also be told that you should swim home after a long training event, and thats going to segue into the All that Glitters mini-game. As it swims across the water, your Magikarp will come upon a shiny object, and if youre lucky when examining this object, youll chance upon a decent amount of diamonds usually about 7, but nothing too extravagant. In short, expect solid, unspectacular gains. But if you find the glass orb instead, thats going to cost your Magikarp some JP. Those appear to be the only outcomes in this mini-game, and given that there may only be two, we suggest taking the gamble you may lose some JP, but diamonds are hard to come by and its always great if you can get them for free.

Like the Is it Treasure? mini-game, All that Glitters is based on chance, so think carefully before deciding to play it or not.

How To Get And Use The Glacial Lure & Mossy Lure To Get Glaceon And Leafeon

Pokemon Go

The final current Eeveelutions available in Pokemon Go are Glaceon and Leafeon, and this duo has the most specific evolution method yet.

First of all, don’t forget that you can do the name trick once again to get Glaceon and Leafeon for the first time. As detailed above, name your Eevee Rea to have it evolve to Glaceon, and name your Eevee Linnea to have it evolve to Leafeon. After that, however, you’ll need to fulfil special requirements to evolve more of these Pokemon.

Specifically, in order to evolve more Eevee into Glaceon or Leafeon, you’ll need some new items: the Glacial Lure and the Mossy Lure. These two new types of Lure Module are available in the shop and will soon be appearing as Field Research Rewards. These lures exist to make you more able to catch different Pokemon – the Glacial lures in Water and Ice type Pokemon, while the Mossy attracts Bug and Grass types.

There’s an added benefit to these, however: when they’re placed, they can impact Eevee Evolution. Simply place one of the lures in a Pokestop if you place the Mossy Lure you’ll be able to evolve any Eevee you have into Leafeon while standing in that Pokestop’s radius . If you place the Glacial Lure on a Pokestop, that’s when you’ll be able to evolve into Glaceon – just remain within the Pokestop’s radius. This works even if you didn’t place the lure, too, so you can share this chance with other players.

Tap On Pikachu For Extra Jp

The game doesnt make this obvious, so you can possibly call this a hidden feature of sorts. Simply scroll to the top while on the feeding screen, go past the water, and youll see Pikachu leisurely taking a nap on the shore. Tap on Pikachu, and youll get a ton of JP in return. You can do this every 90 minutes or so, as Pikachu will go right back to sleep after he rewards you with the extra JP.

How To Catch A Shiny Magikarp

At the moment, the only way to catch a Shiny Magikarp or Shiny Gyarados in Pokemon GO is to search out these Pokemon as players would for a normal Magikarp or Gyarados. As players traverse their communities looking for Pokemon, they will come across a Magikarp like normal. However, once players enter the catch screen with the Magikarp, they will notice it is a different color. Rather than the normal orange, the Magikarp will be gold, denoting its Shiny nature.

Advertisment

Its important to note that if Pokemon GO players are searching for a Magikarp in a group, it is possible for one player to see a Shiny Magikarp while the other players see a normal one. Its also worth pointing out that the Shiny Magikarp is a very rare Pokemon, so players will likely have to search for a while to find one. That said, we recommend players search in areas where Magikarp are normally found in abundance, such as areas close to water, as that should make finding a Shiny Magikarp a little bit easier.

Note All Individual Bonuses

It pays to keep track of the individual bonuses you receive for catching a certain type of Magikarp. But these bonuses could work in your favor, as some may increase your chances of being eligible to play one of those training mini-games, while others may increase the amount of JP a Magikarp gets per morsel of food consumed. Take mental notes of the individual bonuses, or better yet, write them down, so that you have a good idea of how to focus your training properly.

Pokmon Go: How To Evolve Magikarp Into Gyarados

Pokemon Go fastest way to evolve magikarp

You will need to use 400 candy to evolve Magikarp into Gyarados in Pokémon Go.

If you evolve Magikarp during Pokémon Gos August 2020 community day or within two hours afterwards, Gyarados will learn Aqua Tail.

Its obviously very difficult to perform the evolution thanks to the required amount of candy, so its recommended that you complete the Make A Splash tasks and rewards.

This is because the stages reward you with Magikarp candy to help you perform the evolution.

How To Prepare To Evolution

The first thing you need to do to evolve your Magikarp is break its Everstone. An Everstone keeps your Magikarp from evolving to its next evolution, and in order to evolve to Gyrados, youre going to need to break this stone before getting started. Players can easily break this tone by simply tapping on their Magikarp a bunch while at the pond. Youll get a message that the Everstone has broken, which will allow you to begin the process of leveling up your Magikarp and evolving it.

by Bryan Dawson

You can catch a lot of Pokemon out in the wild in Pokemon Go, but Gyarados has been more difficult for people to catch, which is why this guide will cover the best ways to get Gyarados in Pokemon Go. First and foremost, to get Gyarados youre going to have to work for it. Such a rare Pokemon doesnt come easy, so be prepared for the hard work ahead.

Its important to note that Gyarados cannot be obtained from . Even the 10km eggs wont give you a Gyarados. The only way you can get Gyarados is by evolving a Magikarp into the rare Pokemon. If you have a Magikarp spawn point near you, this is a bit easier. You can always check out our guide on to see if there are any Magikarp nearby.

If you dont have any Magikarp nearby, youll need to hatch one from a 2km egg. There are quite a few Pokemon that can hatch from a 2km egg, which is where that hard work comes into play. Unfortunately, just finding a Magikarp isnt enough. It takes 400 Magikarp Candy to evolve it into Gyarados, so you need to find as many Magikarp as you can.

As always, be sure to check out our for more useful tips and advice!

Skip The Raid Start Animation In Pokmon Go

Going from the lobby to the Boss battle in Pokémon Go Raids can take a few seconds, especially if there’s any network slowdown, and that can cost you precious time for solo and specialty Raids.

Luckily, there’s a way to skip right from the lobby to the raid, no GO between.

  • Create an empty team.
  • Wait for Raid to start.
  • Pick your real team.
  • What happens is that, with an empty team, you get kicked back immediately to the rejoin screen, and when you do, rebounded back into the Raid with no animation screen.

It only saves you a few seconds, but sometimes that’s all you need.

Dodge The Driving Lockouts In Pokmon Go

Pokemon Go Magikarp Evolve To Gyrados

Pokémon Go does everything it can to prevent people from playing while driving, and that’s a very good thing. Unfortunately, it also prevents people from playing while being passengers in cars, buses, trains, and other forms of transportation.

There are different levels of lockout. The first is the 10 KM/H limit for egg hatching and Buddy candy walking. Go over that limit, and Pokémon Go radically lowers the amount of distance it logs. The second is the 35 KM/H limit for spinning PokéStops, seeing Nearby and Sightings on your radar and triggering spawns in your vicinity. Go over that limit, and you log almost no distance, can’t spin any stops, and can’t see or spawn any Pokémon.

It’s all absolutely for the best, but there are also a couple of ways around it. They don’t always work, but when they do, you’ll rack up mega mileage and sometimes still get in a few spins and spawns.

  • Go to the egg screen on Pokémon Go.
  • Hit the Home button, so you return to the Home screen. Don’t launch any other apps, but don’t let the screen go off either.
  • Drive a short distance, something under 10 minutes.
  • When you Pokémon Go again, you might see some amazing distance gains.
  • Another method involved using an Apple Watch:

  • Using your Apple Watch, start a Pokémon Go workout.
  • Next, find some form of slow transportation. Whether that’s an Uber/taxi or bus in traffic or a ferry, it doesn’t matter. Slower the better, though.

Why Can T Gyarados Use Fly

This is why trainers may be surprised to realize its unable to learn the move Fly. However, at the end of the day, due to its size, build, and lack of wings or other flying apparatus, Gyarados cant fly in any sort of way despite its Flying typing, so it learning the move Fly wouldnt make any sense. via

    Xp Trick For Lucky Eggs

The Lucky Egg doubles all XP earned for 30 minutes! Combine this with Incense or a Lure Module and you’ll be raking in XP just by catching lots of Pokemon, as seen in the video above.

What you may not know is that evolving a Pokemon grants you the most XP out of anything in the game, and Lucky Eggs actually double your normal 500 XP reward to 1000XP for each Pokemon you level up.

To really reap in the benefits, you should capture a lot of common Pokemon, like Pidgey or Caterpie, that require relatively few Candy to evolve. This has been referred to as the Pidgey Exploit, as Pidgey are very common for some people, and only cost 12 Candy to evolve for 1000 XP. Even better: If you’re evolving a Pokemon into one you haven’t caught before, you’ll get 2,000 XP!

The Step-by-Step Process to the “Pidgey Exploit”:

    • Step 1: Don’t Transfer Pokemon

Collect easy-to-catch-and-evolve Pokemon, like Pidgey. Pidgey are easy to come by and only cost 12 Pidgey Candy to evolve. The more the better. Save them for a Lucky Egg evolution binge. Favorite all the Pokemon you want to evolve with a star to keep things in order.

If you have Pokemon that you know will evolve into something you haven’t caught before, save them for your Lucky Egg XP spree, too.

    • Step 2: Plan for After Your Evolution Spree

You have 30 minutes to exploit the Lucky Egg, so only use it when you can also go out and catch Pokemon, using a lure or incense.

    • Step 3: Activate the Lucky Egg
    • Step 4: Get to Evolving!

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go currently has Pokemon from several generations… and the most recent Eevee Evolution added to the game is Sylveon, a Pokemon added in generation 6. In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.

First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira – then evolve it. The first time you do this, you’ll get a Sylveon. After this, however, you’ll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.

For further chances to evolve Eevee to Sylveon, you’ll need to get 70 Buddy Hearts with an Eevee – which puts your relationship with that Pokemon at the ‘Great Buddy’ level. After this, you simply need to evolve that Eevee with 25 Eevee candy, and you’ll get the fairy-type Sylveon in return.

All of these work with the Flower Crown Eevee or Shiny Eevee – so you can use these tricks to get yourself a Shiny Sylveon or a Flower Crown Sylveon.

Pokmon Go: An Important Reminder About Shiny Red Gyarados And Mega Evolution For Magikarp Community Day

Pokemon Go Magikarp Evolve To Gyrados | Eevee Hack Evolution Trick | Poke Vlog 5

    Pokemon Go

For the August Community Day, we celebrate the original. Not the original Pokémon, mind you, that would be Mew according to the fiction or Bulbasaur according to the Pokédex. No, this is the first shiny, both in the main games and in Pokémon GO: Red Gyarados. Red Gyarados appeared in the Lake of Rage encounter in Pokémon Gold and Silver before shinies were a thing, and in honor of that, Shiny Magikarp and Gyarados were the first introduced in Pokémon GO back with the 2017 Water festival. Now, youve all got your chance to get one.

I spent a long, long time looking for my shiny Magikarp, and I finally got it at Chicago OHare, leaving Pokémon GO Fest 2019. You may well also already have one, because theyve been around so long, but that doesnt mean you should sleep on Community Day, because Gyarados is likely going to get more powerful pretty soon.

Niantic recently confirmed that Mega Evolution is coming to Pokémon GO, and the first evidence has even shown up in datamined code. This is a Dynamax-like ability that allows a Pokémon to achieve a final form for the rest of a single battle, less like a true evolution and more like a special ability. Its cool as all get out, however, and it could really shake up both PvP and PvE battles, depending on how its implemented.

Skip The Catch Animation In Pokmon Go

If you don’t want to wait for the lengthy Pokémon Go catch animation to complete, you can try exploiting this bug:

  • Tap on the Pokémon you want to catch.
  • With your off-hand , swipe from left to right and leave your finger down on the left side of the screen.
  • Throw the Poké Ball with your good hand, as usual.
  • Lift your finger as soon as the Poké Ball has successfully hit the Pokémon you’re trying to catch.
  • Tap the screen to exit the Poké Ball selector.
  • Tap the Run icon at the top left to leave the encounter.
  • You’ll still see the Pokémon on the map. Check your Pokémon Storage to see if you successfully caught the Pokémon or, if it escaped, repeat the procedure to try again.

Check Ivs Before Evolving In Pokmon Go

You always want to evolve the best Pokémon possible. “Best” being defined as having the highest stats . The better the Pokémon you evolve, the higher the CP and HP it’ll have, and the better it’ll do in Gym and Raid Battles.

An update to the built-in appraisal system for Pokémon Go makes it easier than ever to see what you’re working with. Previously all you got was a phrase that would let you know where your Pokémon’s stats were. However, now you get a graph and a star rating. It breaks down the attack, defense, and HP of the selected Pokémon, as well as giving you a one, two, or three-star rating. This makes it easier than ever to know which Pokémon is worth evolving, and which you want to transfer to snag more candy.

It’s also easier to find your higher IV Pokémon using the search bar. By typing in 4*, you’ll see all of your 100% IV. The search terms also work with 1*, 2*, and 3* so that you always evolve the Pokémon that will be most worth it. There are also a variety of other terms you can search for to isolate specific Pokémon, and you can find them all here.

Now, not everyone is into stats, not in baseball and not in Pokémon, but if you are, there are still third-party IV apps available to you, and they’ll make sure your every Pokémon you evolve is a monster. That way, you can evolve the 100% Bagon into Salamence and not the 82% one.
