How To Transfer Pokmon Between Pokmon Go And Pokmon: Let’s Go On Nintendo Switch

Follow the steps above to pair Pokémon GO with Pokémon: Let’s Go and you’re ready to start transferring Pokémon. It’s important to note though that you can’t actually access this feature until you reach Fuschia City, which is a little ways into the game.

If you’re already there, here’s how to transfer Pokémon:


  • Boot up Pokémon: Let’s Go and head to Fuschia City.
  • Visit the ‘GO Park Complex’ and speak to the attendant. Select the option to ‘Bring Pokémon’.
  • Boot up Pokémon GO and hit the Poké Ball icon then tap ‘Pokémon’.
  • Tap the Nintendo Switch icon at the top right of the next screen.

Pokémon Let’s Go;is a reimagining of the classic Pokémon series, and harks back to the days of Yellow, Red and Blue. It not only introduces a new way to catch Pokémon, but the ability to transfer your favourite pocket monsters from Pokémon GO to Let’s Go on the Switch.;

The process is remarkably unintuitive, but we’ll explain exactly how it’s done. And by the way, you’ll need to have reached the stage in the game where you can speak to the receptionist at Fuchsia City’s;GO Park, which will;probably take most players 15-20 hours – it’s where the game’s;fifth Gym Leader is. Until then, you cannot bring Pokémon across from Go to the Nintendo Switch.

Once you’ve got to that point in Let’s Go Eevee or Pikachu, you can follow the steps below.


Note: if you’re doing this to get a Mystery Box to catch Meltan, you can now transfer Pokémon to the Pokémon HOME app on your phone.

Heres How To Transfer A Pokmon From Pokmon Go To Pokmon Lets Go

When the Pokémon Go account is linked to Lets Go on Switch, you approach the receptionist at Go Park in Fuchsia City. Then select Bring Pokemon.

Then choose the Go Park of your choice. This is where Pokémon come in.


Confirm, then the game will start to search for Pokémon Go account activity.

Then you need to grab your phone. Check your Pokémon list in Pokémon Go and tap the Switch icon in the top right corner. There you have the option to choose Pokémon. Select as many as you want and when youre done, select Send to Nintendo Switch at the bottom of the screen.

You will now see a warning and confirmation when the transfer is complete.

You must now return to Lets Go. Once the account is found, you accept and the transfer takes place.

If successful, you must now catch the Pokemon. They are located in the Go Park that you have chosen. Go back to the receptionist and select Enter a Go Park and choose the park with your Pokémon Go transfers.


Then you have to run in the park to locate the Pokemon.

Then catch the Pokémon!

Sync Your Pokemon Go Account With Your Switch

First things first, let’s make sure both your accounts are synced together for transferring action. To do this, on your Switch head to the Settings Menu within Pokemon Let’s Go, and click the very top option – ‘Open Pokemon Go settings’. It’ll give you a little warning about data use, and then ask if you want to pair your game with a Pokemon GO account. Hit Yes.;

Then, grab your phone and open up Pokemon Go. Hit the Pokeball, navigate to Settings, and then scroll all the way down to where it says ‘Nintendo Switch’. Inside this sub-menu, go for the ‘Connect to Nintendo Switch’ option, which will then search for your Switch using Bluetooth connection .;


On your Switch, you’ll get a prompt saying that your Pokemon Go account has been found, and it’ll ask you whether you want to pair your game. Opt for yes, and after a short communication between the pair of devices, you’ll be all paired up and raring to transfer.;

It’s worth remembering that you can do this with any Pokemon Go account – it doesn’t just have to be yours – so if your friend has something you really want for your Pokemon Let’s Go Pokedex, or has some spare Pokemon they can transfer to help unlock the mini-game , it’s possible.;

  • Launch Pokémon Let’s Go on your Nintendo Switch.
  • Press the red button on the Poké Ball Plus to bring up the menu.
  • Press the Y button on your Joy-Con.
  • Select Open Controller Settings.

  • Press any button on your Joy-Con controllers.
  • Press the A button on your Joy-Con controller to confirm that you want to use it.

  • Pokmon Home Transfer Moves

    You can only transfer Pokémon from Sword and Shield, Lets Go, Pikachu, Lets Go, Eevee, and Pokémon Bank into Pokémon Home.

    Deposited Sword and Shield Pokémon can be retrieved from Home, but Nintendo notes that Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go, Eevee Pokémon cannot be returned when moved to Sword and Shield.

    As for Pokémon Bank, you must be enrolled to the Premium Plan for it to be compatible. Nintendo warns that Pokémon moved from Bank to Home cannot be returned.


    Pokémon Go is an obvious absentee from the list of compatible games, but you can least transfer its Pokémon to Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go, Eevee.

    First, there are a number of initial requirements:

    • The Nintendo Switch with Lets Go and the phone with the Pokémon Go account must be close to each other. Wifi and Bluetooth must be activated.
    • You must have reached Go Park in Fuchsia Town to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Lets Go. Thats about three-quarters of the story of Lets Go.

    If the above conditions are met, you can connect your phone to Nintendo Switch using Pokémon Go.

    You can do this by interrupting Lets Go, opening Options the Y button and then selecting Open Pokémon Go Settings. Agree to link the game to a Go account. So lets get started.

    To transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee, first open Pokemon Go on your phone. Tap the Pokeball in the middle bottom of the screen. In the menu select Pokemon . Find the Nintendo Switch icon in the upper left corner, and tap it. Find the Pokemon you want to transfer, and long press on it to select it. When the game asks you to confirm you want to transfer the Pokemon, select Yes, then hit OK to confirm again. The game will give you a message that the Pokemon has been sent, and youll earn one Candy for every transferred Pokemon.

    However, before any of this, the first order of business is to play through Lets Go until you reach Fuchsia City. Once there, youll get access to GO Parks, in the north of Fuchsia City.     Now, we have to note that there are some terms and conditions here. For one, once you transfer a Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Lets Go, you cant transfer it back.
